WWE '12 coming November 22: Macho Man announced as DLC in Jan. 9/10 on IGN

Just gave me Savage and Foley already.

Rumors of THQ and Yukes are making a I'm sorry DLC. Give me Jericho, Bret Hart and Ultimate Warrior.

I haven't bought a THQ wrestling game in I dont know how long. It might have been Here Comes The Pain. Had a bit of store credit and traded in a couple of games I was no longer playing and decided to get this. I was expecting at worst, a decent game but its actually really fun overall. Its not perfect, the Road to Wrestlemania stories aren't that great and everytime I want to d/l a created wrestler, arena, etc. I keep getting kicked out with it saying the servers are not available but the in game action is easy and fun. Also, Universe Mode is great. Been spending alot of time in that one. I dont know if I would spend $60 on it but since it only cost me about $10, im more then happy with it.
My only complaints so far is that they don't treat CAWs as superstars in Universe mode (so you still have to include a lot of the WWE 12 lineup). You can't just edit a show, say WWE Superstars HD and change it every week to something else automatically. Also they don't tell you all the controls (or at least are not detailed enough anyway) for the match types in the in game manual.

Loving this game though.
You can edit shows! You just have to do it through the calendar, not "Edit Brand," which is a bit counter-intuitive. I changed Smackdown to "PWR," the indy fed I used to wrestle in. After editing the show you can add whatever custom roster you've made (via "Edit Brand"). I did that, so now Fridays on the calendar all show "PWR," complete with a custom logo. I don't think you're actually allowed to edit the Superstars show though (it will always be a combo show for whatever your Monday and Friday rosters are), so that might be where your problem lies.

I wish you could edit an entire show in one go rather than just a match at a time. I would love to edit an entire show so I could just play it all out instead of having to exit after every match to change the next one.

I know. That is very annoying. Theres alot of dumb oversights like this in the game.

The I'm Sorry DLC would likely be one character that some people want, then some other random bs nobody cares about.

Honestly, them giving us dlc is nice, but I think way to many people complained. Did we get any thing for BF3 servers or dashboard stuff? (besides the one year we got undertow). I mean, it's just expected to happen with a new game and new servers.

Did they ever patch any of this issues in this? Like the one I saw talked about on here where setting up the factions or friends/enemies was screwed up? I'm really wanting to get this with some of the deals going on, but not if shit is buggy.

Here lies the problem. We're just supposed to sit there and accept the fact that all online functions were broken for weeks? Why? It's called stress testing, something they clearly did not do, because even the lightest stress tests would've revealed the server issues they had. It's ridiculous that people think "oh, it's just to be expected, don't complain" when a company puts out a shit product.

At least they learned their lesson with this and are doing stress tests on UFC in the Alpha testing, but seriously, I agree with this in so many different ways.

So many games are suffering through the shitty servers and lack of stress testing this generation. Xbox and PS2 didn't have this many problems as far as I can recall... and if they did it wasn't on any AAA release like Battlefield.

Unfortunately I have come to expect a halfassed product from THQ every year.

Name one game that has come out with out server issues though. I expect it now because it's so normal. Yet, I don't get all up in arms and demand my money back or demand dlc. Ten bucks says the will happen with the UFC game. I just plow forward enjoying the game and move onto my backlog of games. You can stress test for a year and your bond to have problems day one. Just my .02.

To keep on topic, Kharma has a great one handed choke slam to use for kane.

I'm saying for having some sort of stress test period. I never said it'll get it bug free, but it should definitely help. I used to be a QA tester and online bugs are still tricky but when there is a public test, it helps create so many more scenarios than a test facility can even process.

The main idea is that, by having the stress test, they can at least guarantee that people can GET TO the server, unlike WWE 12, that took most of a month for me to be able to do anything with. Unlike WWE 12 that DIDN'T have a test like this.
