Yeah I know, I think the only things you can't unlock are Bret and Undertaker MoD. Everything else is just a simple code.

The Ministry Undertaker outfit comes with Fan Axxess if you buy that.

Played against Ultimate Matt X today.. it was, for the most part, lag free. There were tiny snags maybe twice, but I forgot I was playing online for a second.

We had the most epic finish to a TLC match though.. Miz (me) and CM Punk (him) on top of the ladder.. I do the sparta kick to him and he goes flying off of the ladder and onto the steel steps that were laying by the turnbuckle.. aaaand he was out. Epic.

Yeah, that finish was great. Sorry I wasn't on longer, I had to get out of here because of the dog barking and then when he wasn't barking later in the night I couldn't get back to the TV. I should be able to play some today though in the evening.

Forgot to put it in this thread and only put it in the OT wrestling thread..

Uploaded my first entrance theme pack. Remember, you can make requests and I'll work my best on getting them. My first pack contains themes for:

Brian Pillman (His last theme)
Bret Hart (his original, non-2010 theme)
Brock Lesnar
Cactus Jack
Chris Jericho (his instrumental WCW theme - I always turn him into Lionheart Chris Jericho)
Corporate Ministry
Eddie Guerrero (His last theme)
Four Horsemen (w/ Horse Intro)
John Cena (Thuganomics - cuz he's going to be a jobber on my game)
Kurt Angle
Mr. Perfect
nWo (WWE version)
Outsiders (their theme used as a tag team, I think they used it once.. one of my favorite themes of all time)
Owen Hart (his original pre-Slammy award winning theme)
Psycho Sid
Razor Ramon
Rob Van Dam (WWE Royal Rumble edit)
Rob Van Dam (ECW House Show "Walk" edit)
Undertaker (3 themes - One with druids chanting before he comes out, used at WMXX - the Ministry of Darkness theme where he says "Accept the lord of darkness as your savior/allow the purity of evil to guide you" - and one where he speaks in tongues and then the music plays)

If you want the link, PM me.

I really wish I could find AJ Styles new theme. Seems impossible to find for me really (his fortune one, not his Get Ready to Fly one). I saw a sick Styles Clash created move from the top turnbuckle on the community creations last night. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that a lot of moves were taking out this year. I can no longer have Sabu using a slingshot leg drop as a finisher and the Choke slams this years are sad, can't even give big show a good choke slam.

I have had a lot of fun playing some 6 Man Tornado Elimination Chamber matches with some friends and did a few 6 man Battle Royals online but I did come across one super cheap player that was using a Ministry Undertaker that had all the cheap moves that they still have in the game. He was spearing people, doing Triple H's high knee running strike and just basically any cheap front or back running grapple or strike he could. I think the only grapples he really ever did was his Chokeslam Sig and pining Tombstone finisher.

There also seems to be a bad bug online where you can just button mash the reversal trigger and just keep on reversing over and over again going back and forth with another reversal button masher. It seems almost every 6 man Player Match game I played last night was full of people abusing this bug.

I did run into a few laggy games where I could not time the kick out meter properly due to the lag with the worst being a good 3 seconds of input lag where my character would keep walking after I would stop moving him. If THQ can fix these online issues (nothing can be done for the cheap players since they have already found the new set of cheap moves left in the game to add to the arsenal) I think online will be a lot more fun for the next year.

So do we still have to burn mp3s on cdr to transfer to the 360?

Wish they would let you copy from usb...

kicking myself as well.. freaking codes for Bret hard are going for $20 plus on ebay

I tell Matt Young this all the damn time. It's something SO EASY they could add. But yes, still have to burn from MP3. I just use a CD-RW now to save Cd-r's

yea it so freakin annoying.. im pretty sure on ps3 you can copy to internal from usb..heck they let you copy from network as well

i never have freakin cdrs

So i finally found a cdrw laying around and ripped some songs..

Enjoying browsing and downloading caws now since last year we couldnt edit the themes.

One problem though.. everything I rip ends up sounding extremely loud in the game. Wish there was an option in the setting to manage playlist audio volume or something..

Also jumped on fax axxess since I was trying to reach the 2400 points for xbl special goin on.. glad that let me dl ministry taker

I love fantasy booking, and WWE Universe mode offers many good options for that while adding in plenty of its own twists and such. I do wish I could make title matches on Raw/SD and change the participants in #1 contender and title matches, but that's one of the few negatives.

The only other major thing I'd change is the number of matches on each card. 3 is fine for Superstars, but 4 for Raw and SD is too few. I'd like for Raw and SD to allow for up to 6 matches, and on PPV events, 8 matches. I haven't played a PPV yet, however.

I'm also keeping track of all show results in a notebook, just like when I did it with my WCW/nWo Revenge sim league over a decade ago. However, this time, I'm actually playing in most of the matches.

Had some great matches today with pitfallharry. The TLC match that went about 30 minutes was especially cool. We need to try to get a party going for Elimination Chamber matches with people on here. Harry and I did it with some random players today and it was still pretty cool.

fuck yeah. I haven't even played any games on XBL with Scorch since maybe 2-3 Smackdowns ago, LOL. Pitfallharry, it's just been Madden. Matt, I don't think I've played with you since UFC 2009. Elimination Chamber; Royal Rumble; TLC... I'm down for whatever as long as I'm free at the same time you guys are.

Got my review copy last Thursday, and after spending a good day with the Universe mode yesterday, I like it. I'm not a fan of the neutered movesets though - hopefully when they do the DLC packs, they'll put back some big moves that they took out - like the KENTA combo for Punk. Love falls count anywhere Extreme Rules matches, which absolutely rule now thanks to the Havok engine for tables and ladders.

Lame. Must've been saving costs for Linda's campaign run.

I really like this year's game, but I wonder how long they plan on milking this game engine. I just don't see what else they can really do with it and a lot of the long running issues with the series are still issues. I'd really like to see them take an extra year and start over building a new wrestling game from the ground up.

What's "a decent price"? Because Bret will be downloadable for everyone in a couple months... I wouldn't expect anyone to pay much. Bret'ss my favorite wrestler of all time, but chose to get the game cheap and get the free $10 credit from Amazon.

Yeah, we had some fun matches. That TLC one just wouldn't end. In the regular match we had, that was the first time I had used the Razor Ramon CAW that I downloaded. I didn't realize he had such "flippy" moves in his moveset. The Elimination Chamber match, I had some lag when it first started, but it was fixed pretty quickly.

We do need to get some more CAGs together for some matches.
They've actually upgraded it quite a bit from last year's game, although we are now on the 5th iteration of SvR on the 360.
I like the updates, but the AI hasn't changed much in years and Universe seems more like the natural progression from the mode in Here Comes The Pain....only several years later. While there have been control tweaks and more editing options added, it doesn't feel much like an advancement has been made on the series in a long time.

There's a new audio interview with two of THQ's staff on www.f4wonline.com where they talk about what they're most proud of in this game, Yuke's branches, their ownership of New Japan, and the friendly competition between the UFC and WWE game dev teams. They also namedrop PWG.

If you have read things it has been clearly stated that Bret Hart will not be included in any of the dlc packs.

Not in any packs, no. But, probably in a manner similar to Steve Austin in last year's game, he will be available to download at a later date:

Are retailer exclusives, such as Bret Hart and the Undertaker “Ministry of Darkness Attire,” available through Fan Axxess?

* Access to Bret Hart will not be included in the Fan Axxess program. However, following all retail programs, access is expected at a TBD price point for both Xbox LIVE and PlayStation Network.

As mentioned by Matt, they announced before the launch that Bret would be available after the retailer bonus period ran out.

So apparently even if you install SvR 2011 to your HD, it still spins the disc.. here's a way to get it to actually run from the HD, which makes it much faster. After you install it, there's two workarounds:

Using the work around allows the game to play from harddrive and man its MUCH better.

From the dashboard play a song from your media player, now start the game and once you load the data and get to the main menu you can turn off your media player music. Viola the game is playing from harddrive and not the disc.

Sign out and run your game from the dashboard, once you get to the screen that has Cena slamming Orton, press start and the game will ask you to sign in. Sign in and viola, the game is playing from HDD.

Shamelessly stolen from GameFAQs, where they claim it cuts the load times in half.

Thanks, I'm a bit far away from my Xbox, but I thought it was still spinning.

Worked perfectly, thank you. Didn't really notice a decrease in load times, but I was getting slowdown at the start of evert match and that disappeared when doing this.
