Im interested in buying Volume 1 of the Survivor Series anthology. Love my old school WWF. Anyway i seen it on amazon for 40.99. Is this a good price to buy it at? Has anyone seen it lower on amazon, or anywhere else?

Hmmm WWE Shopzone has it for 38.70 but they probably charge tax/shipping.

wweshop.com is actually having 10 percent off everything and free shipping until tomorrow. no minimum purchase. think they only charge tax if you live in CT too.

Hmmm didnt know that. Brings it to about 34 dollars.

Alright i got it from wwe shopzone... it actually came to 37 after tax with discount. Oh well still saved 4 bucks.

Maybe on EBAY. I love old WWF stuff!!

I have WWE On Demand and right now they have Survivor Series 98 available to watch. I'll probably put that on soon... Another thing they have on WWE On Demand is the Legends of Wrestling discussions. They talk about various topics and you get insight from all these Legends like Sgt Slaughter, Jim Ross, Gene Okerlund. So I'd maybe suggest subscribing to that too. They show a whole bunch of stuff.

Back to the topic at hand:
It is too late now but I use a rebate program that gives rebated on WWEShop purchases. You could have took $5 off your order or 15% off a $55+ order. On top of that a 5% rebate back from the purchase, which wouldn't be much but the way I see it I always try to save any bit of money I can and it adds up. You could've used my e-mail and it starts you with $5 too.

Anyway if you want to sign up
http://mrrebates.com/search_stores.asp?k=WWE+Shop&g_search_option=S

PM me if you want my e-mail and I still believe you get the $5. After you get $10 they'll send the money by check or to PayPal upon your request.

I wouldn't buy any of the anthologies, especially summer slam and survivor series, used or from ebay. They are the worst "cases" in the history of mankind. They get absolutely destroyed if not packaged exactly right. That's one thing I would strongly advise paying a little more to get from somewhere better. Shopzone should be ok, but one of the summer slams I got from them could have been in better condition. Survivor series gets old, unless you REALLY like elimination matches especially if you watch all 5 in a row. I'm still waiting for volume 3, but with a certain event occuring at '97, it seems rather unlikely.

Good points..

Survivor Series used to be my favorite along with Royal Rumble because there would be so many superstars at once. Teams that you never seen before. Like when they did the American team against the foreign team. There was a lot of great teams made at Survivor Series. Now if I had to choose I'd of course say Wrestlemania and then maybe SummerSlam.

My favorites are Survivor Series 92, 94, and 96. 93 was good and the earlier ones too..a lot of good ones actually. I hated 1997 Bret Hart was my favorite of All-Time and I was a loyal WWF fan. What a terrible moment in wrestlings history!

Good thing Bret has came back and put in the HOF though!

Yeah i bought the summerslam vol 1 and i hate the packaging. I also have wrestlemania vol 2, and that is pretty nicely packaged. Sad to hear Suvivor Series is similar to Summerslam. But i love these anthologies. I just need royal rumble anthology vol 1, but ive already seen them all so its not really something i want bad.

I have survivor series vol. 1 and it's great. Also Wal-mart is pretty good for deals on wrestling dvds. They run big wwe deals a couple times a year, but it's usually in store and titles vary from stor to store.
