It doesn't seem to be generating much buzz, but I suppose that may be due to the other AAA releases expected to come out in the next 2 months.
I think Oniblade was a better name. X-Blades sounds very generic.
It's fitting. The whole project is generic.;)

Bah, fail. Games a pass for me then, if it doesn't come in a collectors flavor, I can wait for it to drop to $30 or less anymore.

BTW, collectors tastes like apple. Just so everyone knows.

So I guess that crazy LE Kotaku had a while back is not going to be available..? I haven't heard anything about it since.

So no crazy LE for us folks in North America? That is such a deal breaker for me. Drops it far down from day one status because I'm such a sucker for really loaded LEs like that.

Come on, guys. There's less than 2 weeks to go, and there aren't any other predictions for review score? Let's see how close we can get!

Never heard about this but now I'm definitely interested. I'm guessing review scores are going to be somewhere in the 7's which is good for me. I'm guessing this game will do pretty bad sales wise though so I'll either wait for a cheap price or rent it when I'm out of games in my backlog whichever comes first
Sometimes I wonder if Sony wants to fail. It's stupid little things like this that are the reason why the 360 seems to edge out on almost every seemingly equal footing multiconsole release.
Seriously? Panties are the reason Sony isn't doing as well as they want?

I knew someone was going to interpret it that way.

Look, Sony has made enough mistakes. Not securing DLC and generally not trying to attain exclusive deals on multiconsole releases is one of them. Not supporting third party peripherals with BC games another. Laughably not including software emulation on all models of PS3 despite their assertion of how important it was to them at launch is yet a third. The list goes on and on.

They don't need to add censorship to the list. Especially censorship in light of a competitor NOT censoring. It's not about the panties. It's about the expectation of future business practices.

And let's take a look at this title, shall we? It features a scantily clad heroine slashing up foes. Not all of gaming's consumer base is as informed as we are. The target audience for this title includes guys who enjoy looking at a girl slashing things up in her underwear. If uninformed, a multiconsole consumer can just as easily assume, based on the box art, that the insides of the game are censored as well. While that may or may not be true, the internet is a breeding ground of misinformation. I've already read a post by someone who thinks that the game itself could be censored.

Ahh, we always get the less awesome boxart.

Btw since its being published by Southpeak I'm assuming it'll get review scores in the 6's.
Apparently, there are 2 versions for both consoles: one for Japan and one for North America (listed below):

This justifies nothing and only reinforces my point. Sex sells even more in Japan than it does here (pure conjecture). Dumb, dumb, and more dumb. And don't think that people won't snatch up the 360 version over the PS3 version just because of this.

It's not classy, Sony. Just purely stupid.

The US cover and title really does sound generic as hell.

Though I would think this might be the poor man's version of Onechanbara, which is basically another fanservice hack n slash game.
this game looks like a 6 at best
LoL... Thats high standards...

I was thinking... 5.5 at most... but I'm pretty sure mid to high 6's from most reviews..

Any how... I was trying to track down an import version of the Royal edition today, There is a big disapointment in the Royal Edition not coming over, from tons of fans. Saying this is pretty much one of the best collector's edition I ever seen means alot. and for an Average game... it's the main selling point.

Publisher South Peak decided it wasn't worth the the money to pull something like this off. problem was base on weight issue & High mark up $99.99 est. retail value. They even threw out the idea of even doing a few hundreds just for fan service, didn't go through...

Only Europe gets this, and only sold by the publisher through their website... you can't even order from them and they won't ship to USA or the UK. because of legal rights to the games from different publisher.

Well this is the hardest Collector ed. I ever tryed to attain.. Going to be pretty rare IMO..
