XBL 12 Month Gold Sub

Hey, does anyone know the cheapest place to get a gold subscription card for Xbox Live, since my subscription comes due on Sept. 11th, I don't mind paying online or in store, I just want the cheapest possible. Amazon.com has a deal for 40$ but they don't ship to Canada.


Also if anyone has any for sale I don't mind buying one off you guys.

Amazon.com through Goomba. $40 isn't bad compared to Canadian prices, however sometimes they go on sale for $35 or even $30 there.

Yeah seconded on the Goomba recommendation; if you can't wait for the cards to go on sale down in the States, eBay might be your next best bet. Usually around $45 for a 12mo card. Still not bad compared to standard retail pricing here in Canada...

occasionally buy.com has sales on xbox live 12 month gold membership. buy.com is American so you would have to through games for canada.

the better deals I have seen in the last year when it comes to xbl gold cards and MS points have always been at RCSS (Maxi & Cie).
You might want to check the weekly flyers in the next couple of weeks, you could get lucky...

American point cards: no.

Dell.com (US) has a sale on subscription cards right now - $30. Maybe you could get Goomba to pick one up, or do the package forwarding thing? Here's the link:

Factory Direct used to get them occasionally, the original Xbox ones at 29.99.
They work, but you get 12 months, not 13. It's been a year since I tried, so this may no longer be the case now that LIVE for the original Xbox is discontinued.

The original cards might still work - I activated one a few days after the old service was shut down. There might've been a grace period to the cards and I got lucky, this was back in april after all, but it did work after the plug was pulled.
