Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

Can someone that's not Gold check the price of XB1 Advanced Warfare? The deals page had listed it for $39.99, 20 cents cheaper than the Gold price, but a reload bumped it up to match the $40.19 Gold price. Wonder if the Silver price will eventually bump up to $44.99 or $49.99 or if the Gold price will drop.
Showing $40.19 for me and I'm silver.

Yeah, I've never played a Sherlock Holmes game and always wanted to. I picked that up immediately.

Dark Arisen is so much fun. I sunk so much time into that until something on my hd screwed up and set me back to a previous save waaaaaaay at the beginning of the game. But hiring some high level pawns and going into to the expansion area (bitterblack isle, I think?) at a love level just for the loot makes it worth it.

Now you've made me want to play it again.
What is the difference between Dark Arisen and the original? I have the original but I've yet to play it.

NEED TITANFALL DELUXE...since I always miss it and noone plays on PC anymore :(

I also want to play Lords of the Fallen since I just got it last night...but I'm so damn addicted to DA:I (dont even have time for Majora's Mask)

Harmonix has a newsletter?! Why am I finding out now about this?

So the Gears of War 3 Season Pass is $5.49 and South Park is really $14.99. Looks like those are my only pick ups this week.

I also noticed there's a game available on Xbox One called Hand of Fate. I got excited for a second and thought of this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-i4lu_EvhlY

I would usually say skip to :insert time: but the scene (and the episode for that matter) is awesome so watch the whole thing anyway.

Sorry I couldn't post about that DoA5 stuff since I didn't see it until now, looks like it's all covered though. I played a bit with the 4 characters and had a blast but am waiting until my disc comes in tomorrow to play more.

A rail shooter "tailored for Kinect" called Blue Estate released on the XB1 today. Regular price is $13.99, XBL Gold members get a 20% discount for $10.39 for a "limited time".
Looks like that game was ready for date night

it was the other way around for trials during a particular sale that happened within the last few months. I own both a 360 and x1 but I was holding off for the x1 version.
I was mainly concerned with Costume Quest 2. The lowest price that has dropped to on Xbox 360 was $10.04. I passed on that. I would have definitely went for it at $4.99 if it was on sale for Xbox 360. I don't have an Xbox One. I've been collecting all the Games with Gold freebies for Xbox One if I ever do get one.

Trials Fusion was $9.99 at it's lowest price on Xbox 360.

I'll play the waiting game. :)

If anybody is thinking about Blue Estate and have a :ps4: , it is on sale for $5.99

I'm going to wait for it to be that cheap on :xb1:

the thing about that review is that the butthurt liberal pussy reviewer spent more time crying that the game is going to hurt peoples feelings than critiquing the actual game itself.
Well you spent most of that sentence insulting somebody and I imagine you'll spend a majority of your rebuttal doing the same towards me.

Anyway, being a game that relies on Kinect should already start it in the 5.0 area.

Thought this is something that would be an interesting read. Especially for people thinking about buying new hard drives for their XB1s.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2015/02/16/us-usa-cyberspying-idUSKBN0LK1QV20150216

And to keep this somewhat on topic: I've decided I'm going to pick up Far Cry 3 (get rid of my disc copy), Gears 3 season pass and one of either Forza 4 season pass or the Horizon rally expansion. Also, I'm interested to see what goes on sale this weekend, hoping for a sale on Destiny's season pass.

Playing the Last Round on Xbone, the difference in graphics isn't that big of a deal like I originally thought it would be. Definitely a bit crisper than the 360 version, but not a night and day difference. I think I'll just keep my 360 version and grab the new DLC characters.

Why would I do that? You're a swell guy in my book!

And no....you couldn't be more wrong. Dark Dreams Dont Die was meant to be played on the Kinect, and that shit is amazing.

I've yet to play it but I am excited to be able to play it on my controller, mainly because I do not own a Kinect.

Also, gee whiz thanks. I like you too.

I wish this Ultimate Games Sale had more indie stuff in it, as I'm not that interested in getting retail stuff digitally for these prices. The XB1 side seems to be largely big publisher stuff.

I completely agree. Missed opportunity by Microsoft, I think. (Would've gone nicely in advance of their 'we love indies' lovefest at GDC in two weeks.)

I bought $30 in Microsoft Funland Dollars, but after buying Sniper Elite III, watching Lords of the Fallen get pulled from the sale, and Trials Fusion's price (technically) rising, I'm thinking I might be done until the weekend. After all the cheap games on 360, I find it hard to spend the dough on X1 titles.

Does anyone know if or how NBA Live 15 has improved since its launch?

Well you spent most of that sentence insulting somebody and I imagine you'll spend a majority of your rebuttal doing the same towards me.

Anyway, being a game that relies on Kinect should already start it in the 5.0 area.
Think I read it can be played with or without a kinect, just like D4.

Interestingly, all Last Round DLCs are available for X1 on the European marketplace, except for the actual trial to use the unlocks on. Then again it says it releases on the 20th, so I guess it'll start working in 2 days.

Bought Hand Of Fate by the way, I'll give you my insights later today.

I saw that Dungeon Siege 3 is on sale for $5, and at that price, the game is tempting. Any thoughts on it?
If you like isometric view with decent combat, its an awesome game. Anjali is the only character you want to play since no other character has the abilities to get through the intermediate bosses. Thats been the biggest issue with the game, the playable characters are not all the same and the difficulty is really skewed.

It is a decent game for $5, if a little short.

Ended up grabbing Temple of Osiris + Season Pass, Costume Quest 2, and How To Survive. Debating Sniper and Styx but not sure if either would hold my attention, usually not a fan of pure stealth and don't like sniping much in games either. Lords of the Fallen is the only thing I'll be waiting on then

So, Hand Of Fate is pretty awesome. It's basically a build your own adventure, where you build your deck and the opponent, the dealer, also throws cards at you to decide your fate. As it's a roguelike, if you die, you begin from the start, but games are not too long. You collect equipment, gold, food, health, and then you have to deal with encounters where cards decide what kind of enemies you'll face. The battles are a mixture of action-RPG games (think Diablo) and the Arkham games (combos, blocks, dodges). It's fun, and its unpredictable nature makes it playable for long, as there can be tons of options for battles to happen - your equipment, the enemies, the traps on the field, the curses and blessings, the dungeon itself... after a while you'll hardly fight two similar battles. The game's lenght seems solid, beating all 12 bosses (plus the dealer I presume?) doesn't seem to be an easy feat, since likely most bosses won't take you one try alone (the first ones are easy but from the 4th onwards there's a lot of dangers to deal with). There is also an endless mode where all cards, bosses and such can happen, that is likely where the longest term fun lies. The game is really unique and fun, it lacks a little bit from a technical point of view (graphics are only decent and a couple framerate drops outside out battles do happen), but I expect there to be dozens of hours of fun in this. The achievements seem feasible, many are for completing the game while most others are cumulative. Some require a bit of luck but you can "choose" your own luck in drawing cards with certain blessings. I'm really enjoying the game so far, definitely not a disappointment. Is it worth 20 bucks? Perhaps with a Ultimate Game Sale going on you'd find it hard to spend on this, but if you're looking for a unique game experience and you like adventure games, action-RPGs and roguelikes, don't miss this. Really a great game!

Thanks for the quick review, I'm pretty excited about this game. Debating PS4 or X1, but whoever has a better sale on it first will get my money.

GWG is preventing me from going through with a purchase on Costume Quest 2 or Trials... Anything less than $20 seems like a GWG candidate.

With how much it has been on sale I have been thinking the same thing and so I too am holding off. Plenty of other games to play anyway so I can wait.

So, people playing DOA5 LR on Xbone: Is it correct that you have to manually go through the store and re-download all of your previously owned costumes? If so... yikes.
