Don't know what problem you are referring to but mine was pretty obvious afterwards. I was informed by MS CS that I had to have a gold membership which had expired a couple of weeks ago. I thought I just had to upload my save file to transfer to the X1. Once I renewed my Gold on the 360 and played for a few minutes, it popped up with the discount on my X1. Needless to say, I bought it right away as someone else on here mentioned he didn't and it didn't come up with the discount again.

2. Play for at least 10 mins. MS CS stated it worked after 2 mins for some. Didn't really mention if you had to play MP but someone signed into my game at the time so that could have helped.

3. Should hopefully be available for $4.99 on the X1.

I rented the 360 version from Redbox last week (had a free rental code), and the X1 showed up $4.99 the following day. Only played the tutorial for a few minutes on 360, got a couple of achievements, but no multiplayer and I didn't even build a house or stay in the game until nightfall.
 
On Xbox 360, starting Wednesday, October 1st, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (normally US $14.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through October 15th.

Then on October 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Darksiders II (normally US $49.99) for free through October 31st.

 Chariot, the newest ID@Xbox game from Canadian developers Frima, will debut on Xbox One as a free download, replacing September Xbox One Games with Gold title Super Time Force

Never got around to buying Darksiders 2 so that's cool. Bad Company is a great franchise as well and this should liven it up for a bit.

Always happy with free games the day they come out as well for Chariots, ensures I don't have it :p

I'm actually glad BF:BC2 and Darksiders 2 are games I've played and completed. Gives me more time for Destiny!!!!! :D

360 side is great, XB1 not so much.

Honestly shocked to have a month of two games where I don't own. I got Darksiders 1 on steam though, not on the 360 so that will be a interesting way to play them.

 
Rough month for GwG in my opinion.  BFBC2 is $1.99 at Gamestop.  And this was supposed to be the 2-game month for X1, right?

XBLDB picked up some markdowns for Tomb Raider ($20) and Thief ($40). The Eliza Skullgirls character that was posted yesterday got pulled.

 
Xbox sure does love first person shooters lately - having them on sale weekly and as free games.

Do you have to play Battlefield 1 and Darksiders 1 to get their sequels?

I have the Battlefield series on PS3 but never played them before. If Battlefield 2 has multiplayer, I'm in. 

I don't have Darksiders so I'll pick that one up.

But giving Bad Company 2 to all of Xbox Live Gold means it will have a jump in the multiplayer, which means that the fun of that game will be back for a time.

Bad Company 2 is what I played for a long time on my PS3, and it's awesome to be able to play it now on my Xbox. Looks like I'll be donating my dog tags with my low rank.

You're not being serious. It definitely wouldn't have gotten 10/10s if it was unplayable. Sure it's an improvement, but if you already played it, really not much reason to get the PS4 version.

XB1 GwG has always been 1 per month thing except the first update.

It was a 10/10 for its time, but it has become obsolete since it came out.

Now please do a big sale on Bad Co 2 DLCs so I can go get all the remaining cheevos :D

I should also get ME2-3 DLCs but I still haven't found cheap used copies anywhere, dont really want to spend 15-20€ on a 4 years old game.
 
i love Octobers gwg. a lot of users on other sites say it sucks. im happy with DS 2. sucks for those of us who just spent $5 on bad company 2 on psn though

XBLDB doesn't pick up One markdowns. My gold just ran out, so I can't check to see if it is also cheaper on One.

Chariot is a surprise. I have never heard of it before and it looks like something I wouldn't pay for, but has a good chance of being fun. Especially if the co-op is online.

EDIT: The co-op is not online. I might be avoiding it now.

So, the point you're trying to make is that The Last of Us went from being a 10 out of 10 game to an obsolete and nearly unplayable one in the span of 15 months.

Are you familiar with the concept of hyperbole?

 
So I looked at my xbox one game tab and it said 92% full...

I'm going to have to get an external HDD sooner than I expected.

Between EA Access and GwG it takes a majority of it up.

The big difference between xbox one and 360 is the swap capabilities. I want to keep most digital gAmes on my xbox one as I actually play them in downtime between stuff. When my friends are getting on for CoD, Destiny or BF4 I just swap to Max, Crimson Dragon or play a quick game of Madden. It is honestly quite a useful feature to actually play my backlogged games.

I never would have done that on 360. So I just delete off the games I know I won't play.

Same here. I remember on 360, I would just wait in a lobby for 15 minutes for a friend to get online because switching to another game and then back would take 5-10 minutes. So nice being able to play a couple KI matches while waiting.

 
I wish that those games were flip flopped on release because I am really happy about Darksiders II (so glad I did cave and bought it) but my sub runs out on the 14th.  Was hoping to prolong using another 3 month card for a few weeks but I guess if I am still playing Destiny at the time I will need to be Gold anyway.

It's always a risk when you buy the weekly deals. I'm not upset by promos. $10 is not much of a sunk cost to cry over. My advantage is I could have played it back when I bought it. It was my choice not to. Can't get upset about that.

I've spent $10 to see a lot of crappy movies over the years.

Two games I don't have this month, sweet!  I don't know if I'll ever get around to playing them, though.  GWG goes straight to to the backlog.  I prioritize games by how much I paid for them, lol...with the exception of TLOU: Remastered, as I have a buddy who works at Naughty Dog that hooked me up

 
Cant really complain about the GwG for october

always heard bad company 2 was the better game of the series and darksiders 2 doesnt look bad either

so no complaints here

 
Pumped for BFBC2. I know it's only $2 at gamestop, but I've been itching for some Battlefield action since I sold my working 360 and decided to stick with my broken disc drive system. Just as someone else said, they just keep making it harder for me to justify buying an Xbox One, and I'm quite alright with that.
