I hate to drag this out but if I bought one of the new 500 gb Call of Duty 360 E systems, could I swap in the old 360 S hard drive and use the same Xbox Live profile, or would I need to start from scratch on the profile and the hard drive with a transfer cable?
 
might be a stupid question but i never delete nothing off my xbox's usually and i'm at over 90% full on my Xbox One so if i delete games off it will my save files for those games still be on the system? just making sure cause i dont want to delete stuff and then have to start over on certain games im deleting

No just go to the game click on manage game and uninstall it. Your saves are saved on the cloud. They will only be deleted if you personally go to the right of the screen on manage game and delete the saves yourseltf

That's a spotlight sale that was listed on the marketplace web site and Major Nelson's blog yesterday, but I held off on adding it to the OP until the sale price actually took effect.

 
I am expecting great things from this years Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale.  It could actually be just about anything on the X-Box One and I'd be happy with it.

 
Friend picked up MCC from Microsoft Store that he pre-ordered with the trade 5 games for $50 promotion. They gave him a $10 giftcard for pre-ordering. Unless you value old sports games greater than $0.00, he got the game for free. I did the same with Unity, FC4, and Halo, but from a different location. I'll find out Friday if they give me gift cards.

I did that, I got a gift card for Sunset Overdrive and for Halo MCC. I used them immediately on $15 XBL cards. I traded in a bunch of crap music games that I had lol. I traded in MCC already though since I bought it digitally but I kept the case so I would have it.

Anyways, that promo was awesome. Thanks again MS store

Ok, how long am I supposed to wait to find a multiplayer game in MCC. I've seriously not gotten into one after a half hour of trying. Tried a few different playlists and all I get is "Searching. .."

You should be able to watch Netflix or TV app while searching and you'll get a notification when you get into a match. Either that or play customs.

Customs are 50-75% broken too. Best to just avoid multiplayer until Microsoft announces that it's fixed.

That really sucks. Customs are so much fun.

I heard super jumps in Halo 2 are still there. Anybody confirm? I think the last year or so of Halo 2 was just doing super jumps. That little feature would add at least an extra year of gameplay for me.

Well MCC has been a bit of a letdown so far. I've been unlocking achievements for multiplayer while trying the campaigns, and then data isn't consistently saving as well.

Not to mention I still can't get into matches. Oh well..guess I'll try out Unity some more.
 
I don't know it's because it isn't fully downloaded to my hard drive yet, but the framerate keeps dropping big time during cutscenes for DA: Inquisition.

 
I picked up Halo MCC during midnight launch and it was pretty cool, tons of free food and swag.  They also seemed to miscalculate the totals, both me and a buddy got charged $44.xx for the game, we got a $10 gc and we had $10 deposit (from the big trade 5 games for $50 summer offer).  Not bad at all, gonna save my gc for black friday and grab one of the forza's.

Are there any deals posted for Forza Horizon 2 on the X1 yet? That game seemed conspicuously absent from the leaked sales flyers that I saw :(

I watched this on the 360 dash last night. As long as it doesn't have that glaucoma-like haziness like GW2, I'm in. I absolutely could not play GW2, because that haze messed with my head and made me feel like my eyes were dried out and itchy. It was a pretty odd feeling, but the minute I turned the game off, it went away.

Now excuse me, I'll play some Advanced Warfare with my mic on, expecting to receive warm welcoming comments after my fellow opponents fall in battle.

Hey guys, quick OT question if you don't mind. My gold sub expires at the end of the month. Most of my 360 gamesaves are stored on the cloud. Do I lose access to these if I drop to silver membership? Also if I drop to silver then renew later down the line will I regain them? Just need to know if I need to copy a ton of files before the month is up. Thanks.

They'll still be accessible and you can transfer them to local storage, but you can't save to them while silver.

Also disappointed in MCC so far.  I think I always feel nostalgic with games like these but it wears off quick.  Plus, I've never played a Halo game or owned an xbox until the One, which I enjoy the system a lot but I just don't get why this game was a system seller.  Perhaps its because most are older but it lacks a lot I enjoy in shooters.  (Tactical slow gameplay ala Rainbox Six or nutso fast big games ala Call of Duty)  I'll play through the story and hope 5 brings it all up to date but I also am not against flipping this back and rebuying when 5 beta starts.

Well there's part of the problem, you can't really have the warm fuzzy nostalgic feeling if you didn't play this there first time around. Halo 1 did a lot of new things for the genre, so that's something to keep in mind when judging it against other FPS' it probably came first.
 
The Halo MCC is exactly what I wanted, I'll definitely be playing this for a realllll long time. I'm absolutely loving playing all 4 Halos' online in one set, once the server gets fixed I'll be playing pretty much nonstop for a while haha

 
Im really happy with MCC as well. Having played through all of the games when they first released im really looking forward to playing them all again with my original coop partner. Havent been dissapointed with Halo CE so far.
 
Am I the only one who thinks Halo 2 is a better game than Halo: CE? I didn't get into the first game until halfway with the Flood, but going into different viewpoints of the heroes and villains in the 2nd game gave me a richer experience.  Gameplay-wise I thought it was an okay experience. I think there are better FPS games out there - Rage, Killzone 3, Timesplitters ... Timesplitters 2 .... Timesplitters 3. More people need to play Timesplitters.

Having not played the Xbox One versions, I think the graphics on these standard Xbox versions of Halo 1 and 2 still look very impressive. 

 
I think Halo 2 is better than CE as well.  I also feel like Halo 3 is the best of the series overall.  I was an absolute multiplayer junkie for Halo 3 and the campaign was a lot of fun as well (not counting the level "Cortana").

Multiplayer:

3>2>4>1

I really liked 4's multiplayer personally. And that's just my opinion on those. 3 holds a special place in my heart. While I have been playing Halo since CE, 3 was my first multiplayer. Online, anyways, and I'm sure CE brought back a lot of Goldeneye days for folks, in high school I wasn't really into gaming much and that was when CE came out.

I was playin a lot of Halo 4 single player last night and theres a lot of spots when the framerate dips down alot.

I'm a bit biased towards Halo 2 because of how much it influenced what XBL is today and met a lot of great people that I'm still friends with today. I think I've even met up or at least have the phone numbers of all my Halo 2 friends that are still around. Halo 2 was like the 360 dashboard. Everybody had it. I remember leaving Halo 2 at a family member's house one week and seeing how horrible XBL was without it.

I keep reading how people rank Halo 1 as the best game. Playing 2, I see it's not. I haven't played multiplayer on a Halo game yet, and I still didn't decide if I should play Halo 3, Reach, or ODST yet. I'm leaning towards Reach next.

Battlefield Bad Company 2's story, which I just finished (Dallas cheerleaders are safe), isn't all that great compared to Halo but the gameplay is much better and I had more fun deciding when to snipe and when to unload rounds on enemies. The driving wasn't all that bad either. I haven't felt that much fun with a shooting strategy since the Gears of War series.
