I logged into Xbox Live a few minutes ago, tried to buy Enslaved and got an error message.  Other games I've already played that have saves (Tomb Raider Anniversary and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light) will appear, but Enslaved won't appear for purchase for some reason.  What gives?

 
achievements are still giving me trouble. ones i earned last night appeared unlocked today at least. grinded for one which eventually unlocked while watching netflix one I tried to get last just wouldnt unlock nor are the progress bars appearing to function

You have to leave the active download screen open. It will download. If you go back out it says cant download defiance and you have to start over. Its 5.01 gb

I sort of have to agree. It is hard to invest into an MMO nowadays, it's just too hard to tell if it's fun long-term, if there's a proper endgame, if the servers are gonna last, if there's enough of a dedicated fanbase, if it's not a broken unbalanced mess, and if it's not gonna turn into an f2p like most MMOs. You are almost guaranteed the MMO will eventually turn free nowadays, so may as well wait until it happens.

Buy it, use the code, and trade the disc into GS for $12/$13.20 with PUR

 
Looks like the Microsoft Store deals prices for Black Friday are eh.....

Best deal would prob be the Unity Xbox One bundle with Kinect and an additional free game (please don't be Peggle 2) for $430.

Games-wise, I hope their prices aren't an indication of what the digital prices would be.

Only if you plan on making games. There are content showcases that show off what is in new content packs. I'd recommend first making a game with the free content, seeing if you like making it, play the content packs, and then decide if you want more content.

Otherwise the rest of the game is completely free. You can play as many of other peoples creations as you want. Check out my YouTubes in signature for a Project Spark playlist if you are interested in what types of games you can make (Hint: Everything).
 
How does Project Spark compare to Little Big Planet in creativity?  IIRC, they showed some footage of a created first person shooter at E3.  I'd get an Xbox One for that and Sunset Overdrive alone.

Can you create Little Big Planet in Little Big Planet? You can create Project Spark and Little Big Planet in Project Spark. I haven't played LBP so that is the best I can do.

You can pretty much make anything. Depends on how much effort/time you put into it.

fucking finally on Pinball Arcade.  They signed a one month exclusivity deal with MS on Season 2 of Pinball Arcade so PS4 has had Season 1 for forever and most of Season 3, but no Season 2 yet.

 
Been looking forward to grabbing Pier Solar for so long, was so happy when they announced it was out on the 21st earlier this month, happy to see it's for sure now :D

 
I really want Pier Sol but I just got Dragon Age, GTA V, and ton of xbone games that already filled up my HDD.....and next week there will be a massive sale. I can't wait to buy lots of cheap games that I will probably never play!

If you trade the disc back in to GS for $12/$13.20 or send it to Walmart for $17.61 (it's freely downloadable digitally) and get the content for less than $4 I think it's probably worth it if you get into it at all. For the $2.80 + tax cost I paid (found out about Walmart after I already dumped it at GS) I figure I can't really lose.
 
Hoping that Pinball Arcade will be cross buy like Zen Pinball 2 was.  Pinball Arcade was the only game I was considering buying a PS4 for (dumb, I know, but it has a retail disc copy), but if the game is available on 360 and One and both games can be bought once and used on both systems, I won't need a PS4 until the end of 2015...or whenever Persona 5 comes out.

This^ I suggest playing the game for a couple hours to get a hang of it before using the code since it starts as soon as you enter it. That's what I plan on doing that way I can fully use my month of premium to get the most out of it.

Don't count on it. The most they did on PS4 was offer a discount for S1 and they're not doing the same for S2.

Just finished an h2a match that the post game report said "match incomplete" even though we won 800-695

Next match is 6v7 in h2a (a 10 player playlist)

Defiance never had monthly fees or anything like that, so there wasn't much of an investment to make if you wanted to try it out. I got my physical copy for $10 a while after launch and enjoyed it a lot as what I was expecting Destiny to be.

Just login to r* social club in the 360 version?

Really wish they put the Enslaved DLC on sale as well. I don't think it's ever been discounted.

I'll probably just pick up the whole game on Steam at some point; been meaning to play through it again anyways.

 
Red Faction Guerrilla is actually fun... I didn't expect that. I stopped playing it on PC because mp was dead and performance were REALLY bad, but I'm having a lot of fun on 360. I may even buy a DLC (they should give me back 2k rewards credits so why not?).

I traded my gta 5 for 360 few months ago, and I got xbox one version recently. I tried to see if it detected my gta 5 xbox 360 save online, and it did. It imported my progress and I'm back where I last stopped playing.

So I guess yeah login to social club on xbox one.

I wish they already put the preorder DLCs. Those are the ones I've been waiting for forever.

 
If you play non-stop, you prob will finish the main campaign in that 24 hour period lol

Beginning Saturday, November 22nd at 12.01 Eastern Time, Xbox Live Gold members on Xbox One will get to play Sunset Overdrive for free for 24 hours. This is the full game; players will earn achievements and be able to save how far they progress during that 24 hour span. If you decide to purchase the game at a later point, you will be able to start again right where you left off.

That's pretty awesome. I encourage everyone to check it out. Give it a few hours to click, though. I initially found the jumping, grinding all over to be hard to control and disorienting when trying to shoot at the same time. But with a little time you get good at it and it becomes waaay fun.

 
I want to say I blazed through the main story in 10-12 hours. It definitely takes some getting used to, gameplay wise but it is alot of fun. Going to redownload it for some side quests and achievements.
