I actually wouldn't mind fallout 3 dlc for sale for 50% again. I only have Broken Steel. And for New Vegas, ive already got the Ultimate Edition. Also, I wouldn't mind DA: Origin on sale, since I missed it last month. Crazy thing is I have DA2 but never played Origin.

I know exactly how you feel. I bought MCC on day 1, but just played my first ranked match last night (waited for matchmaking to get patched). I think I am too accustomed to call of duty controls and movement.

I did so bad in my first match (2 kills, 21 deaths), someone actually sent me a PM that said "stay out of ranked scrub"

I thought about replying with something snarky just to piss them off, but decided to just report them instead

Co-sign. Yea it sucks the MP is not up to where its supposed to be, but this game easily has 4 years of shelf life and will be played for a good while. It'll be fixed eventually.

Makes no sense to me to return a game you know you will rebuy later once the MP gets fixed. Just keep your copy on hold til then.

The game's shelf life is a few hours tops because it's a buggy pos that barely functions. Will it be fixed? Who knows, they already have your money, why should they care about you getting into matchmaking?

 
I already put over 30 hours into MCC, 25 of those have been matchmaking, even with the system now. That number will be far greater once the servers work better. There's no way I would trade it in, even if I didn't want to wait there's still 4 great campaigns, forge mode, and custom servers that would work. You can find a fair amount of groups on forums online for both real and fun styled matches currently as well. 

 
Seems like every big release is broken initially. I spent 5 or 6 hours trying to do the damn GTA V Online walkthrough mission the first day. Another reason why I wait a month or two for the eventual sale

 
Customs were what everybody play in Halo anyways. Matchmaking is too cereal. Spent all weekend making maps so we'll have something new to play next weekend. They need to have something like Halo 3 to let you search for maps.

Stayed up late last night for Kan-Ra. Woke up late for Kan-Ra. Where is that little guy?

I'm sorry, I don't pay $60 ($10 out of pocket lol) for a game that I can't play day one.

I'm sure these things lower the prices of the game as well. Black friday is coming up to so fuck that.

Probably have to get used to it now. Buy a new game, get a day one patch, have the game working properly a month later.

Destiny absolutely did not work fine. I have never seen a game with so many different error codes that all meant the same thing. I saw like 20 different animals from the animal kingdom the first week and was kicked out so many times from that game.

Far Cry 4 has been having some issues, Dragon Age Inquisition had a few small signing in errors (couldnt play multi when it happened, could still do campaign though after waiting a couple minutes for a failed sign in so it wasn't a big deal), LittleBigPlanet 3, DriveClub......unfortunately it does seem that it's becoming far too common.

Forza Horizon 2 had a few small issues (not being able to connect to the market to download paint jobs, which lead to you not being able to purchase new cars), but it was still playable at least.

Also, not every big release is broken initially. Just the ones that are broken are talked about.

Look at Dragon Age: Inquisition, Horizon 2, and Sunset Overdrive.

Especially impressed with Dragon Age because that game is massive and with about 80 hours just for the campaign portion, not a single bad thing was said about it!

Few hours of shelf life? So you don't play campaign then. If you followed halo on Facebook you would know they are working on fixing it since they post updates daily. Don't make shit up.

Oh, it's got bugs. Some serious ones. But it's certainly better off than, say, Skyrim was at release.

 
I guess I am easily amused. I find it hilarious that two games were released last week with the names: "Never Alone" & "Thomas was Alone".

 
Ah Black Friday week - where every night is Date Night.

All these years later and new release video games still have bugs.  Between this and a gigantic backlog is why I wait at least a year after a video game's release before getting it.

If you guys are still mad, why not have a last minute fling with Lara Croft? You don't need multiplayer to get some fun out of her.  

 
FYI just confirmed with a Microsoft/Xbox rep that the free game included in the Unity Bundle from Microsoft Store Black Friday deals includes just about any new game you can think of  to select from, including:

Sunset Overdrive

Forza Horizon 2

Madden

NBA 2K

Halo MCC

Watchdogs

Lego Batman

Far Cry 4

Dragon Age: Inquisition

Assassin's Creed Black Flag & Unity are available to choose too, but that would be redundant unless you wanted an extra copy for someone else.

I plan on purchasing a 4 GB Xbox 360 there on BF, which their ad says "includes free game". I'm curious if I can select an Xbox One title for that. Otherwise, no big deal, I'll just get an X360 game I've wanted to play.

At least I give them props for acknowledging the issue and informing their customers on a daily basis on what they are doing to fix the issues. It is not like Activsion who hides from days when issues arise with COD.

It might be Peggle 2, with no choice. We had a MS rep come to my store and gave us some to hand out with any 360 purchases.

You know that Pinnacle Station is probably the single worst piece of DLC across the entire Mass Effect series, right? It's just a bunch of generic arena missions. About the only reason to play it is if you are an achievement completionist.

I'm so glad that you give them props for acknowledging fundamental issues they knew existed when the game shipped. Do you also give them props for releasing a broken patch?

On topic: I bought Toe Jam & Earl SVC, Raystorm HD, and Strania since I got tired of waiting. Expect sales on them in the near future.
