That's pretty cool that they're sending out free codes for Ryse if you bought one. I ended up changing my mind and trading in my backup XB1 and some games to grab the SO bundle. Won't get it until Monday though since I'm waiting for the $50 discount so I can use movers coupon on it. I wonder If they will send me a code haha

I've already built up a substantial collection between the GWG stuff and imports from 360. I'm dangerously close to hitting sub 100 gigs and I've only owned this console for a few days.

I remember trying Amy and the only thing I liked about the game was the fact that the game portrays Amy as a girl with autism. Other than that the game was an overly repetitive escort mission so boring I wanted to claw my eyes out...and all I tried was the trial game.

 
I am getting a Xbox One tomorrow. I picked up the Titanfall season pass when I saw it dropped to $6.25.  Gamefly has Titanfall used for $17.99. Is it worth buying the digital version of Titanfall or to just get the cheaper disc version?

do you want to spend more on a digital copy? the disk version is identical just saves on download time plus it has resale value

I prefer digital but I'm lazy and like to keep my shelves clean.
 
My backlog for my XB1 is growing now.

Been trying to complete Black Flag so I can dedicate all my time to Sunset Overdrive, but every mission requires a Jackdaw upgrade smh.  I need the extra hard drive space for MCC and AW in the next two weeks.  Still haven't touched Watch Dogs either which is sad lol.

Just been strictly playing MP games of TF, Forza, 2K15, and Madden.

I've recently begun giving myself time frames to complete certain games. I'm starting up Sunset Overdrive next week and I wanna be done with it by the 18th because Dragon Age is going to rule my soul. I havent even touched some of my games like AC Black Flag, Amazing Spider Man 2, Rayman Legends, and The Evil Within. Still want to play The Walking Dead 1+2, The Wolf Among Us, Halo MCC, and Far Cry 4. Just not enough time for gaming.

I managed to 100% the achievements in around 30 games this year (and I had like 13 in the previous 4 combined), plus I also managed to clear multiple campaigns and games without all achievements as well. With my insane backlog (I have around 400 X360 games total), I would like to have done more, but that's pretty good so far I believe. My main problem is that all too often I lose myself playing online games like COD or FIFA instead of going on with something, as these are always time-wasters and fast-paced, whereas some of the stuff I am trying to complete may be less amazing and feels more of a chore to do. I'm also "stuck" on Season 2 of The Walking Dead (finished 2 eps)... I keep deciding to do it and then I don't.

 
So, grabbed Dead Space since I never got around to it. I'm on chapter 7 now, really enjoying it. Although, am I the only one that can't help but think of Run Like Hell when they play it? It seems like a massively upgraded version of that game. Although the "creatures are more reminiscent of the Thing, I mean the movie more than the game, that game was a huge letdown, wish they'd try again though.

The first DS was soooo good; it makes me sad that they decided to trade in the tension and slow pace for intensity and ACTION(!) in the later games.

And yes, The Thing from the Xbox/PS2 era was such a shame. The story and atmosphere was right on the nose but then they go and screw up the infection system and everyone suddenly becomes an alien because you had them join you as you move to the next section of the level.

That seems to be the basic story to every horror franchise ever. Starts as horror survival, the developers forget how to build tension and suddenly, voila, it's an action franchise.

Xbox.com lets you download all the stuff for 360 and One. I queued up every Games with Gold game for One so far (don't own the console yet), plus queued the digital upgrade for Minecraft and Destiny, redeemed a code for another game I got off an auction, etc.. Same applies to the 360: you just confirm the purchase from the website, and then you download whenever you want. Once the purchase has been confirmed, you're free to download it in a year time as well. Just remember to queue up everything before the free period expires.

Could you clarify the part where you mention that "you're free to download it in a year time as well". Are you saying that once you buy the GWG you have one year to actually download the game to your Xbox One or you lose it? I have been trying to clean up my current back log before getting a One but if that is the case about the one year download I may have to pick one up this month with these decent promotions. I would hate to lose out on all the free games since this past June.

As far as I'm aware, he just means that you can download the games at any point in the future, whether it be a month, a year, or longer

Glad you posted. I was going to play that game with my four year old daughter tomorrow because she saw the colorful ad on the home screen and wanted to see it.

They only show strange sexy dancing then an egg comes. Nothing graphic, but some of the dances are weird. Incest is also common amongst the Piñata
 
I just got a notice from Microsoft that I have ~$170 in promotional credit that will expire in early December. Is there any way to get this extended? Would adding new credit extend the expiration?

I don't think there is. Promotional credit expires when it expires. Least they email these days. I once lost about $50 worth of promo credit because I simply didn't know it was expiring.

Ok, need some help here. Is the Titanfall season pass worth it at this price? I'm way behind on my gaming and still haven't even gotten to it (but plan to soon). Will I be happy I got the 3 expansions?

 
Since we're talking about backlogs and achievement whoring, I thought I'd chime in.

I literally have 16 X1 disc based games and 16 digitally downloaded. 2.8gb left, and haven't completed any. I would've broke my 200k gs by now if I wasn't playing the garbage grind known as Destiny.

Damn Best Buy discount not making me spend any of my saved up Xbox credit.
