I believe this is for the Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta. Each code is tied to the original purchaser of the game, so those who buy just the codes won't be able to get in on the beta.

Kazeno has the correct info - "Actually they're doing an early beta just for Xbox Preview members first. That beta starts today and runs until the 21st and then sometime before the end of the month they'll start the 3 week beta for MCC buyers."

Just finished shadow of Mordor. Hot damn...that was a good game. Can't wait to see if they do another. I will definitely be buying it, if they do! Everyone, the next time this game goes on sale, I recommend it, very highly.

I didn't play it for a whole because normally, I think the big hype games (aside from the AC, Mass Effect and Kingdom Hearts series) are shit and I did not want to like this game, but...it really won me over. I don't want to talk about it much, due to spoilers and such, but the game is very creative and I loved the branding system. Very cool and super useful in shitty moments.

Now then...

XB1 Daily?
 
Just beat that Lord of the Hunt dlc for Mordor. Its pretty good, its 2-3 hrs worth of content. Last story dlc for Mordor is Celebrimmor, should be good.

I would only get Rock Band/Rock Smith if there was an offer that included a guitar controller; those things are hard to find and too expensive. Otherwise, the Rock Band and Guitar Hero series keeps me happy on PS3.

Nice try with Saints Row 4 (told you we would get better titles). If this was for the Season Pass or DLC, I might have picked it up.

Looking at the blog for each day, it says daily deal.  They are really taking that literally with just one discount per console so far.  I would have thought it would be around a theme like all the Sonic games, or Lego games but nope just 1 deal, that is kinda painful.  

Also it appears Rush N Attack Ex-Patriot has been removed from the marketplace, don't know if anyone mentioned it here but just a heads up, I actually own it but haven't played it yet, and now that I am without gold I will probably just buy up any other games I really want full price than risk them being removed in the hopes of a fire sale when the 360 is done.

You do know that Rocksmith uses an ACTUAL guitar, right???

Well that sucks about Rush N Attack Ex-Patriot. The game never got a sale to my knowledge.

From what I have read, it wasn't a very good update to the original Rush N Attack, but I would have enjoyed giving it a whirl. I'm probably going to start spending less of my Microsoft credit on Games on Demand and more on Arcade titles since they seem to be getting delisted at a pretty fast rate. I just got home internet in October even though I've owned an Xbox for years, so I feel pretty dumb that I didn't download some of these games earlier. I did get Marvel vs Capcom Origins at full price, though, and I don't regret it, so I would suggest that anybody who wants it buy it soon.

Yep, and I wouldn't even know if I overpaid for a good one or not. Every time Slickdeals lists a sale on a "DBZ guitar" I have the urge to buy it and learn how to play "Rock the Dragon:

I also recall Rock Band 3 also allowing you to use a real guitar.

And good riddance to Rush N Attack. That remake was terrible. I'd like to see Yaar's Revenge and Double Dragon 2 go next.

 
I don't think it's been too bad so far.  Outlast was cheaper than I've seen it on XB1, Costume Quest 2 is fairly new and a good game, and a few of the ongoing sales aren't bad either.  Lords of the Fallen is pretty new and IMO a good deal at $35.

I do agree that if the Metro sale is JUST the bundle and it's only at 33% off that's kind of messed up since it was just on sale (and both as the bundle and the single games).  Although you have to consider they need to sprinkle in not-so-good deals with better ones too and need to presumably build up to the better ones.

 
Saw Lords of The Fallen for $35. How is it? Worth it at that price? Have the developers addressed any of the technical issues that plagued the game on launch?

I'm definitely interested in trying it at some point.
