Please note:

  • You cannot currently buy any Xbox 360 content on xbox.com using your account balance, you can only use an active credit card or PayPal. To use your balance, you must make purchases on your console.  Unfortunately, even "purchasing" free content through the web site like trials requires an alternative method of payment tied to your account, though adding an empty MasterCard / Visa gift card that is registered for online purchases will work.  Xbox One games can be purchased on the web site with your account balance, but DLC cannot.
  • Some sales are intended for Gold subscribers only, as noted within each section.  This requires being a paid subscriber or within a console-activated "1 month complimentary Gold trial" account.  Neither 48 hour trials, 14 day trials nor free weekends qualify.
  • All known sales and information on sales should make their way into the OP. Major Nelson usually updates his blog with new sales information every other Tuesday.
  • ALL OFFERS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE! No information within this thread can or should be construed as accurate (or still valid), therefore ...
  • Always verify Xbox Live Marketplace prices before your purchase!
  • Spend wisely, have fun, and enjoy!

$40 for Diablo 3 ultimate evil? Cmon man drop to $30 already. Too godamn high for an old game repackaged for next gen.

So is the Temple of Osiris Season pass just skins and weapons or is there more actual content for the game? Hard to tell from the description.
From Sqeenix site for pc season pass, I would think the console one is the same

The Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Season Pass includes all future DLC content including additional tombs to conquer, 6 additional costumes, and a treasure troves worth of unique rings, amulets and weapons.

Had Uno Rush's demo in case it was on sale and the game gets delisted. At least I have original Uno on PS3.

Thanks for the heads up on MX vs. ATV Alive. For anyone wondering, it's a 2.71 GB download.

I was tempted in getting in on the TellTale game deals especially GoT but I'm currently just watching it on YouTube lol.  GoT so far is entertaining.

See I'm not certain because it's kind of vague in the XBL description (which is far more specific) and I can't find anything definitive on if there's actual levels.

"Want more Lara Croft adventure? Get the Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris Season Pass and receive the Icy Death and Twisted Gears Packs. The upcoming DLC Packs will challenge Lara, Carter, Horus and Isis to conquer additional tombs and collect a treasure trove of unique rings, amulets and weapons as they become available to download. The Icy Death Pack includes the Ice Climber skin, Icy Rifle, rings, and amulets to discover while the Twisted Gears pack includes the Original 1996 Lara Skin which will take fans on a nostalgic trip back to her first adventures as well as exlusive rings, amulets, and the Cluster Bomb Launcher."

Edit- Found this on some barebones fan site indicating it does come with two more tombs.

LARA CROFT AND THE TEMPLE OF OSIRIS SEASON PASS

The Season Pass, available through Steam, Xbox LIVE, and the PlayStation Store, includes the following DLC. Most of these have not yet been released. Stats for the various weapons, rings, and amulets are included on the Collectibles page.

  • Icy Death Pack
  • Twisted Gears Pack
  • Costumes: Survivor (outfits for all four characters)*, Ice Climber, The Original (TR2 tribute)
  • Toxic Weapons: Toxic Dart Gun, Dart Rifle, Toxic Shotgun, Toxic Submachine Gun, Automatic Dart Rifle*
  • Amulets: Iron Set's Crook*, Iron Scarab Fetish*, Frozen Pendant of Set's Chosen, Sekhmet's Wrath
  • Rings: Winter Copper Ring of Abundance*, Vulnerable Copper Ring of Reach*, Copper Ring of Rage*, Copper Ring of Haste*, Weakened Iron Ring of Khet*, Frozen Mark of Set's Ascetic, Frozen Band of Set's Favor, Sekhmet's Blessing, Sekhmet's Retribution
  • Gems: Gigantic Sack of Gems, Huge Bag of Gems (2x)
  • Tombs: Tomb of Hoarfrost, Tomb of the Embalmer (I assume these are the tombs that come with the Icy Death and Twisted Gears pack, respectively)
  • Weapons: Icy Death, Cluster Bomb Launcher (ditto)
*Items marked with an asterisk are available at launch. Others will be released at some future date.

Answers for stuff like this are just way too hard to find sometimes. :wall:

Answers for stuff like this are just way too hard to find sometimes. :wall:
More stuff than I expected, now I'm seriously considering getting the game/sp for $19.42 on PSN.

Did they ever update if they are fixing the Telltale Collection glitch where it does not give you the season pass?
They sure better.

From the official forums and an "official support":

"Hey, everyone! The Tales from the Borderlands Season Pass will be available with this bundle at a later date. While the standalone season pass may ask you to purchase, you do not need to purchase it again. We really do appreciate your patience with us while we looked into this. Please do let us know if you have further issues with this bundle!"

Another reply from the same support person suggests that it may not work right until the second episode is released though.

I haven't spent a single buck on anything during this sale (or credits for that matter) I think this is the first countdown sale where I literally haven't bought anything...on the plus side...I haven't bought a single thing during the steam winter sale either yet...sooo yeah.

Either prices or games were not appealing enough.

All I got was SO - and that was only because I traded my copy at BB for about the same price. Otherwise, this sale has been a busy. Not surprising for me, though, as I refuse to buy anything else on 360 and there just ain't a ton of shit I want for the Bone.

Had Uno Rush's demo in case it was on sale and the game gets delisted. At least I have original Uno on PS3.

Thanks for the heads up on MX vs. ATV Alive. For anyone wondering, it's a 2.71 GB download.
Thanks for mentioning that Gameloft's version of Uno is still available on PS3. I went ahead and bought that version along with the PSP/Vita version since the game isn't cross-buy. And Uno is available on one of those XBLA disc compilations if people really want to play it.

I was almost in the same boat with you until I realized I had $20 in expiring credit from converting the m$ points to real monies (i think that was last year). Ended up buying tetris ultimate and dance central spotlight. This has been such a disappointing set of sales leading up to the new year, but it just such a limited number of games for the :xb1: that I cant really fault them for the games they put up for sale. This is probably the only console I will consider going full digital since I do not believe the system will offer me much in terms of what I like to play (S/J/CRPG and shmups). This is likely to be my black sheep console for this generation.

Honestly curious. What is a S/J/CRPG?

Got the mordor season pass
and picked up outlast.

I have barely touched outlast anyone have an opinion on the dlc for $6? Worth it?

I thought the C in CRPG stood for "computer", hence why it often refers to stuff like Baldur's Gate or Planescape.
It could... it could also be "console" RPG... by "classic" I just mean your standard RPG, whether that means turn based, dungeon crawling, rogue-lite, basically anything that is not encapsulated in SRPG or JRPG.

Well I didn't get anything during this ordeal.

I did get good BF deals. I'll just keep stackin that Bing XBL credit.

Got a new 2tb external drive thinking I could use some room for the One and some for media but was surprised during setup to learn I can only use it for one or the other. Is there anyway around this? Like if I put media on there and tried to set it up for games, would it just format it anyway?

Hey Lerm, would you recommend DA:I to someone who could only play an hour or two at time? I would love to play it, but the sheer scope of it is just daunting.
I would say absolutely. For me it's easy enough to jump on, take care of some business and jump off.

I will say this though..2 hours will FLY by so quick haha

Well I bought Lego Hobbit on XOne on the first day. Nothing the rest of it. Hopefully better prices down the road to make digital at least comparable to actual discs. Tough to spend an extra $10-20 for a digital game you can't resell.

Grabbed the free motocross game and today D4 should go free so that's a good price.

Doesn't Xbox have a promo that season passes purchased for 360 will also transfer to Xbox One?

So if I purchase Titanfall for 360, I should be able to use it for the One version, yes?

Picked up Dead Rising 3 Season Pass because I loved this game and any reason to go back to it is good for me. Now I only need to pick up the Co-op DLC in a sale.

Dead Rising 3 was easily the best launch title. And honestly the first real next gen game. Im getting the SP too. Loved this game. Wish the Watch Pups SP was on sale, oh well. But the Super Duper Kamehameha Arcade EX+ DLC is well worth the price if you can't wait.

Yeah I might just buy it so I can play it when I play the SP. All depends if anything else secretly or not so secretly goes on sale.

Going through this myself. The easiest way is to have a transfer cable, move all the content to the new hard drive than go to account settings on the dashboard and transfer the license. You should be able to do it as it sounds its been more than 3 months since the last time you did it.

Then go to your purchase history and redownload all the stuff. But because its already on the hard drive, its only gonna take a couple seconds instead of redownloading entire games, its mostly just redownloading the license.
Yeah, last time I did this was back in 2011. When I did it before I remember being able to go on the Xbox website and do a "license transfer" for all my games, and since I was only going from a 20 GB model to a 250 GB model I copied save files to my USB. I looked last night and I can't find the license transfer section online anymore so has that gone away?

Do it on the new console - Settings, Account, License Transfer.

Note this doesn't copy anything at all, it just marks the new 360 as your primary console where your digital games will work without being signed into Live. If you need to copy a lot of data from an old hard drive you'll want a transfer cable. Or you could just redownload and copy important saves via USB.

Has anyone else tried to purchase AC:L 360 and says error? Mine won't let me says system cache error reboot retry?
That can happen when the marketplace transitions the price back to normal. Sometimes the console will still show the discounted price but the backend systems have the regular price and won't let the transaction go through.

Battle: Los Angeles has also been delisted

Courtesy @lifelower and @K4rn4ge

************

By my count that's nine titles delisted from XBLA in the month of December. Could be more to follow today or tomorrow.

*After Burner Climax
*Battle: Los Angeles
*Marvel vs. Capcom Origins
*Rush'n Attack: Ex-Patriot
*Scott Pilgrim
*Uno
*Uno Rush
*Who Wants to Be a Millionaire
*WRC Powerslide

I really hate how opaque XBL rewards are.  Like this season pass promo is perplexing me.  Will it count season passes in a bundle?  Does the FH2 car pass count since it's a season pass but isn't called a season pass?  If I spend $40 on distinct stand alone season passes with season pass in the name will I even get credit for it? Probably not.

Oh damn!! Is everyone getting the DR3 Special Edition Super blah blah hyper thingy?!? I have it but can never find games!!

GT: The Lerm

Let's kill some Zombies.
