Once you get a good feel about moving in the terrain it should click. It took me a bit to get used to the grinding and bouncing while dispensing bullets. Love the game.

Story line is that you're in a car racing tournament. I honestly haven't done much online, but there appears to be a lot of stuff to do online and offline. It's not really anything like Forza 5, it's much more arcadey. Think Burnout, but without the focus on crashing.

 
Is upgrading to Deluxe, in DA:I, any good? It's up for $8.99 I think and I am debating it since it didnt look like it was adding anything to the game play - except a mount, a throne and some weapons?

Can anyone with Deluxe edition confirm if it is any better than the vanilla DA:I as far as content goes?

It gives you some mounts, a throne, and some armor and weapons. The armor and weapons are pretty good for the first few levels, and you can create upgraded versions later on that keep pace with other items in the game. But they're not like dramatically better or anything. The mounts and throne are cosmetic and there are many, many other options in the game for these. I wouldn't worry about buying the DLC unless you're a huge Dragon Age fan and just have to have everything.

I have the deluxe version. It was worth the extra few bucks for me when I downloaded the game as it wasn't much more than the standard edition. It adds very little though, if you've already been playing the game for awhile it probably isn't worth it.

My wife and I are big DA fans so we of course purchased the deluxe edition, mainly for the soundtrack and to support Bioware. The extra weapons and mounts aren't really worth it though. If you like soundtracks then I'd say its worth it. If that's not something you care about then don't bother.

I was wondering the same thing yesterday and even Googled it. I'm confused on the love of the soundtrack. Do people who like it, really love instrumental music because it's not like a movie soundtrack with artists, lyrics etc?

Yes, I listen almost exclusively to soundtracks these days, from movies and video games. So there are those of us who enjoy orchestral and instrumental music without lyrics.

I have the deluxe version. It was worth the extra few bucks for me when I downloaded the game as it wasn't much more than the standard edition. It adds very little though, if you've already been playing the game for awhile it probably isn't worth it.

Thanks for the input guys. I am going to save the money and get the season pass instead, if it ever goes on sale. I'd love an armored mount but I'd die (in the game) no matter :) Looks cool though, doesnt it.

Inquisition doesn't have a season pass. It doesn't even have any DLC announced as of yet (though there's bound to be some eventually).

 
SlingTV could be neat but all those channels offered have long standing watch apps on most platforms, so after a simple authentication, they give you live access everywhere. As a longtime nonpay tv subscriber, I may be too grizzled in this area to find this useful.

I was wondering if this shows up for everyone. I saw it on my dashboard saying to "upgrade" thinking it detected the game install from EA Access' six hour trial. I haven't bought the game and feel a little slimy about trying this, but I bought the upgrade and am waiting to see what happens at the end of my trial seeing that I have the Deluxe Edition.

Sure it won't convert to the full game but I will probably get it eventually.

I know. I know. Slap me on the wrist....
 
You'd just get the DLC, not the whole game.

Had to buy deluxe edition because standard was sold out. Armor and weapon kind of suck. I replaced the weapon at level 4. Just hit level 5 and the armor is close to being replaced. Not far enough for the throne or mounts yet.
 
DA:I deluxe is a cash grab and not worth it at all, you replace all of it in a few levels and none of the items makes any difference at all.  game is very good otherwise, playing it right now on ps4 as i type.  much better than DA2

 
Except with the deluxe edition you get some sweet armor upgrade schematics at higher levels that provide very strong gear. The deluxe edition is a good deal, IMO.

Just a step. If they allow you to pick and choose from different lineups, cable and satellite providers will get more $ since the days of paying $100 for like 200 channels are dwindling.

Anybody see what the new weekly deals are?  Thought we usually have it posted here by now, maybe I'm missing it...or are they just keeping the same stuff this week too?  Was hoping for some redemption from the terrible holiday sale.

Maybe there's no more weekly deals...we complained too much about the holiday so MS be like "no weekly deals FOR YOU!"

 
I see GTA San Andreas is $3.74 w/ gold, so it looks like some deals are starting to show up in the store.  Maybe XBLDB is broken tonight.

XBLDB just picked it up so either MS is updating the sales incredibly slow this week, or this is just a terrible week for sales.

 
GTA 5 is just under $20 on 360. I would love a sale like that for the one.

Also, forza horizon is $11 for 360 which is amazing for anyone who doesn't have it.
