Depends what you like, they're different games. One's a sim Racing game, the other's a Football/Soccer game.

Personally, I'd rather get FIFA but that's only because I could never get into sim racing. I loved Forza Horizon, but I just can't play the sim ones.

 
Second question, I'm really having a hard time trying to narrow an external drive down for the One. The question comes down to external power cord or just USB power...I'd rather not have another cord, does it make much difference?

Shouldn't. I got a 2tb WD My Passport a week ago and love it. It doesnt make loading time TOO much faster, but its great having so much extra room now.

Up to 2TB it really doesn't make a difference. Over that you're going to pay a massive premium for the few larger USB powered drives.

The add-ons include weapons and clothing for multiplayer AND single-player. Also, if you do get it, put the initial download on your HDD and everything else on a USB drive if you can. It decreases the stress on the hard drive and helps the game run smoother. I noticed a huge difference in the performance when I did that.

Does it run okay without doing that though? I don't have another USB drive big enough for that right now, I can just make spare HD space.

 
So I got my first Halo Community Feedback Program survey tonight... it asked me to rank the Team Slayer in Halo 5 in comparison to the Team Slayer in Halo 3 ODST...

 
Perhaps this is common knowledge but I just got a 2tb external harddrive which I assumed could have media and be used to hold games etc. but was only able to do one or the other. The ability to partition may come in the future but for now its one or the other.

Thanks for posting this, for some reason I also thought the contrary. Did they say that was going to be a feature?
 
I've been using Seagate Backup Plus Slim 2TB. Selling for $100 on Amazon currently. I haven't noticed much increase in speed, but most of my games still on old HD. It does have Dead Rising 3 on it and hasn't crashed yet while playing season pass content. It is about the size of a phone. Great if you want it to be hidden.

FIFA 15 very good for $30 if you are a fan of the series. I personally love pro clubs. EA Access does have 14 and 6 hour trial of 15 if you want to "rent" it.

Question: Do I receive Reward points for purchasing a game on XBL...?  Like....an automatic _% percent back?  ....Or do I just need to pay attention for specific titles offering pre-order reward point bonuses, etc....?

Should get "automatic" % back depending on how many stars you have. When you actually get that % back is a mystery.

New KI character Omen looks crazy. 11 different projectile patterns, super attack that does 100% potential damage (white hp), and he can lock his opponents shadow meter. A lot of people are saying he looks OP already, but I think most of the OP stuff will be difficult to actually pull off against a real opponent.

I use the same 2tb external hard drive for my xbox one. it was $55 after rebate at tigerdirect.com. All games go on the external hard drive while all apps go on the internal. If I want to take my game library to my my friend's house, I just take the external drive with me and I'm good!

Yeah, I've never gotten anything with any rhyme or reason from the rewards. I've spent $1200-1500 in the last year and didn't level up (or have the percent move from 82% until it reset), haven't ever gotten a percent back that I can tell, and only randomly get the promotional stuff. I got like $42 this week which is about 95% of what I've gotten lifetime from it and I have no idea why.

This has to be one of the most random things. I got my November rebate towards the end of December (around the 22nd I think), yet I got the December rebate on January 7th

Anyone think the $30.00 for the FIFA 15 Holiday Bundle is the best deal so far on the X1 dashboard? I have $50 USD to spend on digital games. I know that EA Access will get FIFA 15 digitally in like 4 months or so. Will Sunset Overdrive or Far Cry 4 or WWE 2k15 drop in price this upcoming week?

I see this all the time, but the qte parts are super easy with controller. Was going to make a quick tutorial video and never got around to it. Maybe I will this weekend.

If you are referring to the hail mary to end the game once it had been tipped there is no pass interference. Very stressful game to watch as a Patriots fan, but will go to sleep very happy tonight.

And nobody from Baltimore should be complaining about the officials at all. They were calling everything Baltimore's way aside from on special teams plays and they missed CJ Mosley molesting Gronk on a crucial 3rd down to start the 3rd quarter while the Pats were still trailing. Overall thought it was a reasonably well called game and was definitely very entertaining

If anyone was wondering why Funk of Titans was priced at $8.99 in the trailer but was $12.49 on release this is why:

Because we thought that we can set the price, but the thing is that we set how much we earn, and MS adds something :(. FYI in Canada, Russia and Brasil it seems it has this price...

And that is coming straight from somebody at A Crowd of Monsters (the game's developer)

Also, has anybody purchased the game and if so did you have any problems with the game not fitting your screen properly? I tried messing with all the settings on my tv and the Xbone and couldn't get it to fit my screen. The options in the game are bare bones. I contacted Xbox support and got my money back. I sent the developers an email telling about the problem so maybe they will patch something in at some point.

It worked fine for me. I finished the 1000GS on it this afternoon.

To be semi OT anyone with Magic 2015 on XB1 find that the options settings don't seem to actually do anything or is it just me?

Edit- Wow. I just booted up Magic 2015 and it lost everything I did in the game last night. Like two hours of campaign progress/card unlocks/matches/deck building. :wall:

For some reason after not sleeping, I decided to make this video at 7am. Couple audio mistakes, but nothing too horrible for not editing the voiceover and no script. The game sound doesn't sync with the video exactly, but that shouldn't matter too much. Not sure what went wrong there, used Upload Studio on Xbox One to edit everything. Never had problems with it before, but I also never do voiceovers. To avoid spoilers I just used the first action sequence that happens within the first 5 minutes of the game if you skip everything and know where to go. I can show any of them getting all perfects if requested although the achievements for the last (EDIT: almost last) action sequence didn't unlock when I played the game several months ago, so I'll probably be redoing that again anyways.

The only difficult qte achievements in D4 are the 75% great rating ones. Not that hard to match all the buttons and movements but being quick enough is the issue. I gave up on getting 1000/1000 on the game. Those and the last flower game achievement just aggravated me too much. Love the game though.

oh he should've been suspended. You would think after stomping on someone you would have some remorse, he knew exactly what he was doing. But I guess in the end it didn't matter anyway, Dallas took care of them.

Meh lions aren't going to get rid of him, last I herd he's got a good chance of getting a Franchise Tag for the lions. I think Detroit is in a position where they don't want Suh but letting him go would be disastrous especially if he was to go to anther team in the division.

But in the end I think Suh will go wherever pays him the most. Past few weeks he's acted like he wants to stay with the lions but he seems like the type of player who doesn't have team loyalty. Besides the more money he gets the more fines he can pay for his dirty antics lol

You can press the sticks in the right directions before they reach the middle. Then you just need to press LT or RT almost as soon as they get there. The other ones that don't the sticks give extra time on getting greats and perfects. After playing through a bit of my PC backlog I'll make another video of the action sequence in the last section.

Edit: The new video will take awhile to get made if ever. Did the next section 3 times and no achievements unlocked. Achievements for that section aren't unlocked. Will have to delete save and start from scratch :( That might not happen for awhile. Love the game, but already spent a ton of time exploring.
