If you don't mind grinding the first or second level for 5 plus hours. Too boring for me. Only achievement I need is the get all upgrades for all characters. Maybe I'll rent it again in the future.

I am well aware it was a publisher sale. Doesn't make any difference. Nor does the fact that those sales were also on the PSN side. That was simply one example I used in recent months of the better digital sales available on Xbox. Xbox sales used to be absolutely ATROCIOUS, and in all honesty, that is the understatement of the century. I used to write emails to MS on a regular basis regarding the ridiculous state of sales on the Xbox. This is one front where Sony used to absolutely destroy MS. That said, sales have gotten much better on Xbox over the last 8-12 months. Sure, you still have your crappy weeks here and there, but overall the sale situation has just been a VAST improvement over what we saw when it was just the Xbox 360 and that includes both the regular weekly sales and the special publisher sales.

That RPG footage from Project Spark was neat. Reminds me of a game I use to play on the NES called Wizardry.  Is it true that you can also create your own first person shooters?

Even with Sony's flash sale, there was nothing of interest for me but it was a nice effort.

Wonder what this Ultimate sale will have for Xbox users. Perhaps now they'll have a sale on the Shank games.

You can make whatever you want with enough time and effort. Here is a small sample of games available, but I haven't played any great first person shooters yet.

Wish I waited to buy The Escapists. If I knew Ultimate sale was next week last night, I would've thrown money at that instead. Played for a few hours today. Still stuck in the first prison.

Went ahead and picked up one of this 3 $15 + $5 packs of credit from BB for 40.50. If this sale is as good in the US as the Aussies, I'll buy Halo for $24 and sell my sealed copy on eBay.
 
I bought 1001 spikes last night and that game is a blast! Its a classic that reminds me of the NES days, i streamed it for a few hours, it was A fun time. I'm going to do another stream tonight at midnight est. for anyone who wants to watch, the gamer tag is Jetsetpoker and the twitch account is msn1231. Tune in to see how bad I am lol

I didn't even like Lords of the Fallen, but I'd be tempted by that price. Definitely getting costume quest. Plan to check out a few streams tonight if my main streamer doesn't get online too early

I appreciate the thought, but I don't really care about 1000'ing games unless I loved it or spent lots of time playing it. I'm just wanting to complete Rainbow Six Vegas, as I adored it since release and played hundreds of hours (mostly in T-Hunt), and I'm only one achievement away.

Even with the shorter month, they're doing it their usual way. Kind of weird to have a shortened period for Sniper Elite, but whatever.

What's your point? That because February's only 28 days long, the second game should go free on the 14th? No, I get the math behind that. But then on the 15th, the complainers would complain that the first game wasn't free anymore and they missed out on getting it.

Better to keep with the 1st/16th schedule every month than change it for the one short month of the year.

Technically, Microsoft shouldn't even pull this half month crap. Put both games up for one month like on Xbox One. Stop treating them like lesser games and put them all on equal footing.

I would like this because I forget sometimes to grab the the second game like I did with Witcher 2 :wall: I like that about PSN, I can just get them all on the first day and be done with it

Oh, okay. Yeah, I'm not a fan, but at the same time it's hard for me to complain because it's an adequate amount of time to grab it either way. Frisky is right; seems dumb to stick with their archaic format on the 360 when they didn't keep it going on the One. Having them available for a full month eliminates a lot of issues.

Yeah, I really didn't like that when they went that way on PS+ but it's proved itself out to be superior.

Decided that Evolve really isn't fun with strangers with no mics. The game requires a lot of teamwork by the hunters and so far I haven't seen it

When you get that teamwork though it is amazing. The synergy between all the hunter varieties is amazing and then simply playing as one of the monsters is by far one of my favorite online gaming experiences.

 
I've been playing a lot of Evolve with people with no mics and still absolutely love the game, also would love to pick up Lords of the Fallen and Temple of Osiris for those prices

I wanted to watch this but fell asleep around 11. Are you going to stream it again sometime? I really want this game but don't know if I want to pay $15 for it. Definitely not before the ultimate sale-o-rama.
