Would have picked up LOTF, though there's no point in rehashing that for the nth time.

Picked up Forza 4 SP, GeOW3 SP, both Battlestations games, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed and Lego Marvel on 360. 

PIcked up Sniper Elite III, Styx and Laura Croft TOO + SP on XB1.

Traded Lego Marvel for $7 and traded Sniper Elite III for $23.80, so that more than covered those two going digital.

Rest of it, I think I'm good on for the time being.

 
We find out what next month's GWGs are this week don't we?

I'm betting it'll be lotf. For those of us that got it for $9, would anyone be upset?
 
The site is giving me an error when I try to purchase Just Cause 2...not sure if that's related or not.

I only grabbed State of Decay and Gears 3 Season Pass this sale. There were a few more I wanted but I actually would like to upgrade consoles eventually so I held off.

That, or anything that doesn't make me forget about Roman Reigns beating Daniel Bryan last night (not looking forward to Reigns-Lesnar).

My prediction for Date Night: Risk, Civilization, or Toy Soldiers. Something that has an historic feel to it.

It really is a fantastic kart racer, and the music is really catchy too! Glad I was able to get MS to honor the sale price yesterday, and it looks like they fixed the weekend deals for others too.

UPDATE: Apparently, it's not possible (anymore) to use my US account to purchase retail releases, I can only purchase Indies and XBLA. So I picked up Life Is Strange and will be playing it now =P~

As for my final haul in this sale, I only bought Just Cause 2, Gears 3 season pass and Forza 4 season pass.

Spent a lot less than I originally planned to which I consider a success. Bought the Trials Fusion season pass at the beginning of the week and bit on Lara Croft last night.

Missed out on the Shadow of Mordor season pass (didn't realize it was weekend only), but I'm sure we'll see it again for the same price if not cheaper eventually. Plus probably won't play it for a while regardless.

One title I wasn't looking at originally but am now considering is How To Survive. Figure I'll wait for our date to show up at the door, but for people who have played both, how's it compare to State of Decay? Saw a video and seems at least somewhat similar to that.

I remember that one time I bought Sleeping Dogs on sale for 360, and then it went GwG a month or two later. Also, I still haven't played it.

That's the reason I try to hold off on buying anything on sale unless it's really cheap or hope it doesn't end up GwG. I figured both Dragon Age I and II wouldn't be GwG and got them each for under $4 a little while back.

I'm not usually a fan of stealth games but I bought Sniper this week and I've really enjoyed it so far. I don't think of it as having to be stealthy for gameplay purposes or for story reasons. I choose to be stealthy so I can shoot a bullet at a dude waaaaaay far away and watch his head (or crotch) explode in slow motion. Hope you enjoy!


Edit: looks like a bunch more stealth related games are going on sale for 360.

Wish Thief would hit $10 on XB1. I know it isn't great but I always wanted to at least try it since I loved the original. Then again, as a fan of the original, maybe playing it would sour that memory.

Tempted to buy Brotherhood and get rid of my disc... How's Thief? $10 seems mighty tempting.

Also, both Hitman and Sleeping Dogs were GwG correct? I'm too lazy to check right now.

Good to hear man, I'll hopefully end up enjoying it based on what I've seen of it played and what others have said, always nice to hear more good things though :D

 
Sleeping Dogs is tempting, but it's one of those games I'd buy and never get around to playing, or wouldn't get around to playing until it's free on PS+ or GWG. Gonna fight the urge.

LOTF is a turd game with crapy reviews. its good greedy MS retracted its price. watch itll be 9.99 in the march or april gamefly mothly sale. ill buy it for PS4 then out of spite of MS. what they pulled is excatly how you lose customers. textbook case.
