When Halo: Reach was made free I didn't receive credit, but when I contacted them about it they did give me the 1000 points. I hate to encourage this, but I'd press them about it until you get your way. There's no excuse for them to not know how long you have played. This is Microsoft, a software company that should easily be able to track what you're doing...wait, they already do that.

I no longer post often on this thread, due to being benched from my decreased production due to age. Yet, I will test free agency for a reduced role, maybe the Steam or PSN threads can make use of an aging CAG poster. Yet I will always hold a special place in my wallet (and heart) for this Xbox thread. Despite, my constant sports reference I do hope for more than just those discounts. My desires for discounts on Xbox platforms have not changed. There are still lots of DLC to many titles I'd wish to own if the price were lower, digital only titles which only once received a small discount (and I guessed poorly they'd get a significant discount later such as Death Tank and Marlow Briggs), alongside new amazing digital games I want (like Life is Strange and the newly released Resident Evil games). I am anticipating Aprils double free games and will enjoy the quality ones for this month. Despite, my lack of activity here, I'm always looking to co-op with you nice people here. So once again, I'd like to celebrate you, the CAGs of the Xbox deals thread. If tonight's date night ends out with great discounts, I'll be dancing all night.



P.S. I'll take this opportunity to throw a theory out about the rewards points for buying a DLC to the current Games with Gold. Is it possible for one to just purchase one of those Tomb Raider $1 DLC weapons for 2000 rewards points?

It's kinda meh. The frame rate issues are agonizing. I had fun with it for awhile, and snagged a few achievements, butt otherwise didn't care for the strong F2P model. There's a lot of opportunity to throw a LOT of money at if you want everything in it. Even after I bought the "physical" copy that came with a bunch of stuff, it still felt like a large chunk of the game was missing.

I'm not really into crafting type games though, so other people might appreciate it a lot more than I did.

I really just want to play some other peoples' games. I don't have any interest in world building either. But the one time I tried to play another persons game, I skipped some of the tutorials and ended up in some sort of map editor for the game I wanted to play. I'm my own fault for being an impatient ass, but I haven't gone back to it since.
 
Wondering if I should download Sleeping Dogs for 360 before day's end. I know it's only $4.99 but I got stuck on the mission where Wei Shen has to take the incriminating photos. Anybody know how to beat that section and does the game get better after that?

Zombie Army is gonna be digital only in the US for the time being. Supposedly a disc version will "eventually" make its way here but who knows when that will be. Guess I'm going digital.

Is there a big difference in sleeping dogs on the x1 vs 360? Because for $20 less I would be more inclined to bite on it and let it sit in the backlog as opposed to $25 on the xbox one
 
I'm hoping someone here can help me. When I look this up all I find is the current stuff about Halo and what not. I had an achievement unlock incorrectly. This was in October of 2014 on the xbox 360. It's for Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare. When you look at the games list under achievements it shows 63 of 65. When I access the game itself where you can look at individual achievement it shows 64 of 65. On xbox.com it shows 63 of 65. I have the same GS on console as xbox.com. So it looks like the achievement didn't register online and neither did the points.

The weird thing is that on the console it shows locked in one menu and unlocked in the other. I don't really care about the points but if I can't get the achievement to register I won't be able to 100% the game. I have met the requirements 2 more times the achievement won't unlock, cause the game thinks it already has I guess. I contacted some dumbass at EA who said they can't unlock it from there and then claimed to give me 25 points but my GS remains the same. Has anyone experienced this before?

The X1 version includes all the DLC, so if you are likely to want to play with the extras, the X1 is probably worth it. I already bought most of the DLC for the PS3 so I have a hard time spending a lot on the X1 or PS4 version.

Not really graphics wise (it does look better but not TR to TR DE better) and it has all the dlc which is pretty good.

Blame it on the cloud. Seriously though, if you unlocked it ,it will eventually update on everything. I've had this happen to me plenty of times. I had cheevos unlock but never add to the score. It wouldn't show up on xbox.com or the :xb1: itself. 3-4 days later it would finally add to the score and update everywhere. Just give it some time.

 
X1 achievements can be retarded, but fear not. The Cloud always corrects itself. I had an achievement unlock for 50G last Friday and it didn't reflect on my total Gamerscore until this morning. It'll sort itself out. Just gotta give it time.

You can also manually force it to sync by unlocking another achievement. This doesn't work 100% of the time, (if there's an outage for example), but I've gotten my achievements that failed to previously pop to unlock by simply getting another achivement.

I forgot to add that this happened in October. I wouldn't be making a deal about it otherwise. I keep forgetting to do something about it but today I finally did. I keep reading about how MS support is useless with achievement related matters so I was hoping someone on here knew something. This also happened on xbox 360 not the xbox one, which I know has had lots of problems like this.

I keep reading about how MS support is useless with achievement related matters so I was hoping someone on here knew something. This also happened on xbox 360 not the xbox one, which I know has had lots of problems like this.

:shock: Damn, that sucks.

Have you tried deleting you account (just the account, there will be two options. Don't do the one that says delete all saves, etc..) from the 360 and recovering it? That can help in these situations. That's the only thing I can think of other than trying to get it all over again if that is even possible. Sorry :(

Yea they're pretty much useless when it comes to to that, there's really nothing they can do.

Giana Sisters is a visually beautiful platformer for those who haven't played it. Worth it at 50% off, but be warned the game is EXTREMELY difficult and you'll most likely never get all the achievements.

That said, if I didn't have it on the 360, I'd bite for sure. Since I do however, I'm probably going to lean on passing since Rayman is currently fulfilling my X1 platformer fix.
