Can't say since I add the games through the site.

I'd call MS to see if they can do something for you. It shouldn't be difficult for them to verify you were Gold during the period.

I should've checked the MP numbers before buying. The community is completely dead. All I can get is 735GS max unless I set up a boosting session on TrueAchievements or something.
 
My only disappointment in this sale is that they put at least 4 of my 'most wanted' games on sale at once when I don't have a Gold sub for the extra discount, and no money to buy them anyway.

Otherwise this seems like a pretty good sale, imo.

As I previously posted Shadow Jago was also available as part of a community fundraiser earlier this year and will most likely become available again when he becomes a real character later this year.

If anybody only wants to play player created games in Project Spark, then there is no reason to buy anything. All player created content is free. Even if you do want to create stuff, you can create almost anything for free if you are creative enough. The community and developers really enjoy when people use their own custom creations instead of the default models that come with the game.

Most Project Spark games are crap (anybody can make anything and they will make everything), but there are still a lot of good ones. I try to put ones that I like on YouTube. They aren't always the best, but they introduce new concepts or use features that are underused. For example not many people use voice overs or model their characters' movements using Kinect. I haven't played in over a month so I am really looking forward to what has been created while I have been gone.

I use "Mad Catz SoulCalibur V Arcade Fightstick SOUL Edition for 360". All I have to do is plug in the Titan One to the console, plug in a wireless controller with a USB cable, unplug the USB cable with wireless controller, and then plug the 360 fightstick into Titan One while it is still plugged into the console. I have 3 wireless controllers. This does not work with one of them and I do not know why.

Doesn't work that smoothly on PS4, but there should be plenty of guides out by now that can help if you do want to use it on PS4.

Do you have a gaming PC? If so, I'd pickup Goat Simulator there for cheap if you are interested. It isn't a game that will occupy your interest for long.

I bought Ori on Monday and am loving it. Totally worth the full asking price IMO. Killer Instinct seems like a great deal right now too. Do you want a fighter right now or a platformer? They're both great.

There are developer made levels, but the real charm is in community made levels. You need the paid content to unlock some of the achievements though, so it is worth it if you like Gamerscore.

3 very different games that are all fun. If you like fighting games, Killer Instinct will get you the most replay value. Season 3 will most likely be announced at Evo this year plus the content is cross-buy with PC version when it comes out. Goat Simulator is good if you like searching for secrets and easter eggs. Not much replay value once you find everything. Ori is GOTY for many people, including myself. Great gameplay, challenging yet fair achievements, amazing visuals, great music, and a very emotional story.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the KI Collection pack also includes the classic KI games, so you are getting 3 games in one.

State of Decay looks interesting, but I could pay a couple bucks more and get it on disc.

Anyone use one of the new 3.5mm controllers? Can you use the adapter with it as well for button controls?

^This is my situation too. Huge fan of Fable but never played the first and the damn Fable Anniversary never goes below $30 physical/digital. Having said that, I dont mind paying $15 just for the 1st. Scratch that, actually I do (mind) or I'd have bought it by now lol

The new controllers still have the port for the headset adapter, so without knowing for sure I'd say yes. That is what I plan on doing when I get one.

 
Regarding Need For Speed Rivals Complete Edition....if Im not very adept at racers, can I still enjoy this game? Is it catered towards casuals like me or hardcore purists?

If you can get your hands on a 48 he code it will let you access gold deals on the Xbox One. Not the 360 though. Not sure if that helps you

I totally forgot about this. I might be able to get Lego Batman 3 then. It's currently coming up at $18.15 and I didn't want to renew my gold for just that game.

 
Now that I upgraded to an X1, those 360 deals are less appealing. I REALLY wish Risk was on sale for the Xbone. And as others have stated, going to hold off on Ori and wait for a deeper discount. I'm too busy with other games on the X1 now + the eternal backlog struggle is real. Ori would just sit on my external HDD. Might get AssChina

 
The quality of the game doesn't change if I don't play it right away.

A good deal on some MS money would get me to purchase today though.

Yeah, slight spoiler joke is that EVERY level has a part where you have to rescue Adam West, which if you get stuck, that can get repetitive but it's funny in the moment.

 
Yea I really want Ori too because I haven't seen a game get that much praise in a long time. But with this being CAG, $5 off ain't gonna cut it. $10 and you got yourself a deal. I can wait a little longer on it.

risk was on sale a couple weeks ago for the One but it was like $12 (I think). I'm sure it will be on sale again at some point.

I'm tempted to get Lego Batman but I'm burnt out on Lego Games after I decided to 100% Lego Marvel. When I finished Lego Marvel 100% I said to myself I would never play another Lego but, here I am thinking about buying another Lego game.

Since 48 Hour Codes seem to work with Xbone deals...I have a few left that I would share with my fellow CAGs. Only conditions are you actually have to have an Xbone and you can only get one code per person. I might also hold on to my privilege, to choose a well known CAG over an unknown that I have never seen before.

Do games even come with actual manuals these days? The last time I bought a physical copy of anything it just had a two-page promo leaflet for the publisher and another card with a bonus steam code. I can't remember the last time I bought a game and it had a manual (not counting things like collector's editions, special editions, director's cut editions, please-give-us-more-money editions etc..)

I'm in a similar boat, except the only games I'm interested in are in the damn Deal of the Week which is Gold only. Typical. If they were in the ultimate sale I'd pay the silver discount for them no problem, but as it is I'm not willing to buy Gold just for them.
