Never heard of Carrier Command and Akai Katana. Any good?

Otherwise, it's a pass for me. I still haven't played WWE2K14 anyway. Spec Ops was cool so I'd say that's the best of the bunch.

These things should just have permanent price drops. It's the annoying thing about digital items. With no physical space being occupied there's no incentive to lower the prices. I mean, aside from getting money, but that would be intelligent.

I'm still waiting for several arcade games to have DLC sales, but they never seem to happen. Some of these games are over a few years old. The best option was when Xbox Rewards offered a point return when so much was purchased. They had one offer for a month a few years back for getting $5 when you purchased $20 worth, so at least then I could buy a $10 DLC along with other things and see it as a sale that I could dictate.

It's been happening for quite a while now. XB1 deals appear to go live all at once at midnight UTC while 360 deals start going live about 15-20 minutes later. Since the XB1 marketplace is still fairly small, a number of us skim through the site at 8pm (7pm before the DST switch) looking for what's dropped.

 
On a positive note, next date night we will probably find out what the 4 free 360 games and 2 free Xbox one games will be for April.
 
Best part about Threes is you can snap it and play. Very easy to start playing and then suddenly it's an hour later if you have Threes snapped on Netflix/Hulu/WWE Network/whatever.
 
Duke really is shit. It's fun at first but then it starts to feel like they ran out of ideas fairly fast and out of humor about halfway through. If you have to play it go for PC since they fixed a couple problems there at least, like insane load times and retarded 2 weapon limit.

PSA: If anyone plans to buy X-Com, go for Enemy Within, NOT Enemy Unknown. They both seem to be marked down to $10, but EW has all of the DLC plus the re-release only EW expansion.

 
Good job beating the PSN flash sale, Microsoft. I'm going back to playing your "must-haves" on PC where they're cheaper and better-looking.

Akai Katana is a horizontal bullet hell shmup. There is a different play mechanic here that allows you to transform and that allows for different abilities. I have yet to fully understand it, but it's still a great game. If you're a fan of bullet hells, this is a good price for the game.

Havent played carrier command but the game play looks like RTS with the ability to take control of individual units.

Can anyone confirm this? I bought the digital upgrade which gave me both 360 and X1 version of Ghosts and id like to get the season pass.

If buying the 360 season pass gave me the X1 pass as well that would be very convenient not to mention cost effective

I can. I bought Ghosts Season Pass from Darby 2 days ago, and it shows as Free for Xbox One, which you buy it at $0. Currently having all packs on both platforms. It's great.

 
Just once I would like them to put the Duke Nukem Forever dlc on sale.

Next week will be my last week for gold-exclusive deals. I would like the Resident Evil 5 dlc to go on sale again. When it went on sale last year I wasn't interested in revisiting the game, but Resident Evil HD rekindled my interest for the series. I've been replaying the series, and I'm about to start Resident Evil 5. Once I finish the base game I'm going to buy the dlc whether it's on sale or not.

 
Debating X-Com... I have my 360 setup on my 32 inch tv in my room mostly for Netflix, Hulu and Prime but I wonder if I would play X-Com or not... I told myself I was done buying 360 games and only going to get the free GWG...

If you're on a budget the only thing I'd say you shouldn't miss is Lost in Nightmares.

Unless there's a random Capcom sale I wouldn't get your hopes up. Even if there is I kind of doubt the older stuff will be on sale with REmake AND Revelations 2 having both just come out. Capcom really is the type to potentially cannibalize sales.

Two weeks after REmake came out there was a big Resident Evil sale in the PSN store. I picked up RE2, RE3, Code Veronica X, and Revelations for $22. Four, five, and six I already have on the 360. I'm skipping the rail shooters and Raccoon City.

I'm not expecting a sale. I just think it would be amazingly lucky. I'm pretty sure the two RE5 add-ons are story dlc, so I'll get the both.

I haven't bought Revelations 2 yet. I'll do that when I finish RE6. I thought about playing the games in chronological order, but I decided to stick to release order. I go back to thinking I wouldn't want to watch the Star Wars prequels before the original trilogy.

 
I'm still browsing around, but anyone know what are Arbitrary Credit/Charge?  I'm looking at my billing and the numbers are in parenthesis and I got so far ($20.00) and ($9.65).  I see the games I bought aren't in parenthesis.   I'm reading around and it's likely from Xbox Rewards and I also read that since Warface is shutting down people might get credit or something.  Also looking at my billing I see a lot of Microsoft Account Credit - Prepaid card of $0.00, anyone know what these are too?  It's just weird because I could have sworn I only had $47 in my account but when I checked it's up to $67 and I thought I already got credit from the buy 3 and get $20 back Xbox Rewards promo already.

That is true. The only downside to playing Threes while snapped is that to you have to play Threes. ;)

 
With all these repeats, can't help but look forward to that double shot of GWG freebies on the 360. Four games and......did the wording in the announcement from MS confirm that we were going to get an additional X1 game, so two new ones for April and the new one added for March? Grand total of three up for grabs on Xbone in April

Yeah, go for whatever sounds good. I don't really think release order is as important to RE as something like Metal Gear if only because the changing focus of plot and fairly constant changes in mechanics in the more recent games, but it doesn't hurt.

As for RE5, Desperate Escape is technically a story DLC, though personally I thought it was pretty damn light in that regard. Grab it if like 5 a lot. The rest of the DLC is skippable multiplayer stuff, though if you like Mercs mode consider grabbing the Gold Edition DLC thing to just get everything.

I am thinking it's going to be two completely new games for April. why would a game from March be one of the double ups in April when they were going to add 1 new game regardless. no way Rayman is considered one of the free games there will be two new ones

Perhaps. EA Access launched for the Xbox One in mid August and Bad Company 2 came to the Xbox 360 beginning of October this past year. I think one or two might trickle through for the 360 eventually but fat chance of an EA game coming to the X1.
