You have to make a new character on English server. Not sure if you have to make a new account or not. The option to sign in wasn't available when I played and it wouldn't let me sign up with the email I used for the Japanese version.

Should be both in the cloud and on your HD. Might be better to put on all on USB though just to be safe.

So the Goat Simulator trial was just for yesterday?  I actually really want to try the game - didn't see an ad ANYWHERE.  Instead all I see is EVOLVE which I'm not interested in... :(

You had to access/download the trial (XB1) and game (360) yesterday. The trial (XB1) is 24 in-game hours and the game (360) appears yours permanently. If you didn't access/download either yesterday (links were in the free XBOX Marketplace thread), then yeah, you're SOL.

 
Is Evole a 24/72 hour trial period like Goat Sim?

I don't believe Evolve is free like Goat Sim. Ends at a specific time, not after a certain number of hours played.

Ikaruga is well-known as one of the hardest shmups of all time. It has a great pedigree but I will admit that I don't particularly like it that much. For pure exhilaration, I would suggest Raiden IV, Raiden Fighters or Guwange. As much as I want Caladrius and another recently released Xbox Live shmup Shooting Love 20XX, I keep thinking that I need to spend that money on Taito's Live games first.
 
Correct - Evolve is not a trial - it's just free access to the game during the free to play period (ends tonight, I believe).

If you log in, I think it will give you the 'Collect them All" achievement for unlocking all the monsters & hunters, which would - otherwise - take you awhile.

Confirmed. I started the game yesterday and it unlocked before any gameplay.

I played the Monster Tutorial, not sure if I'm going to go back to it today. Saw it a couple weeks ago at Best Biy for $20.

Yeah.. I didn't even technically finish the tutorial because the AI people kept getting smashed and regaining health. Not my cup of tea.

Thanks for all the responses. Yeah, I'd just pass on Evolve anyway. Didnt like the beta. If it was a timed thing, I would've gave it a longer shot.
 
Thanks to the weird game Q, I was able to get back on track to getting 299,999 gamerscore. Just hit that number a few minutes ago.

Evolve isn't bad and a decent healer won't be the first to die. My problem with the game is how little time is spent playing the game. 5+ minutes between games and 4 out of 5 of the games I played lasted less than that. Also doesn't help knowing everything I used was probably dlc to make the game look better.

Good for Marty, but the real story is how the court docs all but confirm Activision butchered Bungies original vision of Destiny so that they could sell it back to consumers in a piecemeal fashion over a stretch of ten years. People think TTK will be some kind of expansion that everyone has been clamoring for, but the truth is that shit should have been part of the ORIGINAL game in the first place, along with real character names (not just generic names like Traveler, Guardian, etc) and an actual storyline you care about. With TTK, youre just buying content that was cut out to be sold back to you for a premium. I don't know how anyone can support that.

I like bungie a lot for what they did with Halo, but once activision became the publisher I knew it wouldn't be good for bungie. I will never buy a destiny game with activision publishing.

 
Guys here is an easy way to make changes to the game universe. Don't buy dlc like that. If it gets rotten sells they will have to stop doing that. However, must gamers are going to and will continue buying dlc like that. Unfortunately, its here to stay. Game delvoplers can make thousands of dollars more from dlc. Peoples obsessions over achievement helps the dlc sells as well. Throw in an achievement people will buy it just so they can get 100% for nerd points.

Turns out if you have the Borderlands GOTY version, you CAN access all of the DLC from the second disc.
If you have the DLC disc installed from when you played it on 360, you WILL have it when playing it on XB1. Just go to any fast travel location and all four spots for each DLC will be there.

Playing Zombie Island of Dr. Ned (Jakobs Cove) right now. Boom.
