Perhaps we will see some stuff from Tribute Games on XB1 eventually. The co-founder recently tweeted his frustrations with his current choice of console platform. (These guys made Scott Pilgrim, Mercenary Kings, and most recently Curses and Chaos.)

I have Mercenary Kings on PS4 - and it is great. Would be cool if that came to XB1, too. I'd double dip instantly.

Now that I've waited so long for AC brotherhood I'm having a hard time biting even at $5 because it seems like a likely contender for a free 360 game that is backwards compatible.

Damn, that sucks! I see now on EBay it's just a version that includes Hulk, not the actual DLC with achievements. I would love to play Ultimate Alliance 1+2 again though.
 
Do you know if it's possible to install games directly onto a USB on the 360 or do I have to install it on the harddrive before moving it?

In a way you can, the internal HD has to be full before it will switch to USB and download to there. There is no way to change this. After it is downloaded you are free to move it around as you see fit.

btw what happened to that pinball arcade sale that should have happened last month...when there was also xbox rewards connected to it?

speaking of xbox rewards..since there change of terms/reset I'm a zero star member and won't get anything anymore..except for some credits from the monthly survey but no discount at all anymore hum...not even tose measly 2% we still had as gold members...

Holy Blood Bowl 2 is a retail release at $50?? Who thought that was a good idea? It's a niche game, I honestly was expecting it be a $15 digital only title.

As someone who has over 2,000 games played in just the online MyPark portion of 2k15 I'm somewhat interested in live but 2k16 has my preorder. I watched some customization videos and 2k16 most definitely has the edge in that regard.

Hopefully both are great but my familiarity with the "flow" of 2k and new customization options is what put me over.

Just start downloading something random like a demo then start whatever you really wanted to download. Then you should be able to go into active download tabs and change the location of what you really want to the USB. Then cancel the first download.

Live 15 was my jam. Gave me much more fun and great gameplay than 2k has. I'm excited for 16 but I don't know if I'll be a release date buyer with other games on board. Guess I'll try the demo and see but it'll have to blow me away because buying a fall sports game before Black Friday makes the Cag in me go crazy.

There's a very high chance both companies' next-gen systems will be always online and digital only games. Will you support either one if that comes to pass? It'll be interesting to see how many gamers abandon consoles when faced with the very real prospect of no more used games and physical discs.

Maybe cause I didnt see the context of the previous tweets, but what exactly did he mean? They're about to make their next game fully X1 exclusive and they regret being on Sony? Or did they make something for us and regret it? Lost.

I wouldn't mind it, hell, I've practically gone fully digital this gen anyway, but I sure as hell wouldn't be an early adopter. Most expensive digital game i've ever purchased was probably like $20, so no way would I pay $60 for a crappy launch title. Especially when I will surely have a huge backlog on the One at that point. Backward compatibility would be a must for me.

As for "always online" I don't see that being too big of an issue either. Since I've had my One I don't think I've ever been offline. There are of course issues with Live outages or Internet outages, but that happens maybe 3-5 times a year anyway so it's not that serious. I think it's a sacrifice I'd personally be willing to make, but I can see why others would be more reluctant.

I think it had to do with building games on C# instead of C++ from the context. C# got them into XBLIG marketplace quickly but was a poor long-term choice. He specifically referenced the "horrible" XBLIG marketplace.
 
Honestly the whole check in once a day wasn't that bad of an idea. I mean they were trying to stop people from installing the game and giving it to their friends to install and play as well

I always thought the simple fix for that situation would have been if your console didn't check in for the day for whatever reason, you would need the disc to play the game. The exception to this rule would be if you bought the game digitally, in which case you could always play your games, check in or not

I've never played Shining in the Darkness. I play thru Shining Force 1 and 2 many times though. I've seen that collection before but never paid much attention to it. Looking at the game list I will be hunting down a cheap copy for my backlog and nostalgia purposes.

NO SH!T. IT's awesome being six years behind on a video game! I remember when I somehow had two copies of PS1 on SMS. I sold it for over $120 when two people kept bidding each other up (this was before eBay). I don't even know where my other copy of the game is right now.

As far as next Gen going all digital, I think MS doing backwards compatibility signals that. A future where all your digital content follows you from console to console would be awesome. Hopefully they have adjusted their agreements with developers going forward to make this happen.

Has anyone bought the battlefield 4 premium for the 360 this week? If so, is it still a cross buy with the Xbox one?
