Guns, Gore, and Canollies will release on 9/25.

I was really looking forward to it until I read that it will have local co-op only. Ill hold off on purchasing it until they decide to patch in online co-op. Playing that type of game solo would be boring as fuck.
 
I'm only really interested in the Porsche expansion pack for Forza 4, but the VIP Membership is supposed to give you a discount on the Porsche pack from the in-game marketplace. Does anyone know what that discount is, and if it still applies given that the Porsche pack is on sale now? Just wondering if it would work out cheaper to buy the VIP thing and THEN the Porsche pack in-game, or not.
 
I got 320 gamerscore in an hour last night on Frozen free fall on Xbox one for anyone looking for a bean dive. It's a pretty fun knock off of candy crush which is a knock off of bejeweled.

Is anyone else having an issue with Crysis 3? I do not have a 360 but do have Live and an Xbox One and I've always been able to acquire the 360's GWG but not Crysis. I get...is this your first purchase? To ensure it is compatible, please sign in to Xbox Live using your console and try again.

I sure hope the combat is lot different than what we glimpsed. It's an early, 'this is how it would generally look' game play, I hope.

 
Wasteland 2: DC achievements are up. Just read somewhere you'll need to put around 80 hours into it if you want to make all the choices and see everything. I like turn-based RPGs but I'll be a good CAG and wait for a big discount later down the line.
 
which external hard drive would you guys recommend? I am looking through amazon and i see the 2tb seagate external for 85 bucks, is it good or are there better external hard drives out there?

I think the common thought is that Seagate is less reliable than other brands, but I have no idea. It's not too hard to find a 2TB external for around $70-$80, so $85 doesn't seem too great to me. Western Digital has an "Xbox" version of their portable drives that is a little pricey but is essentially the same thing as their non-Xbox version which often sells for less and goes on sale. I have a WD 1TB drive that I got for around $50 (plus it came with $15 Dell eGift Card) and have been very happy with.

YMMV, but Target has the Xbox version of the WD 2 TB drive on clearance right now (it's in the gaming area). My local stores have it for about $73. If it goes much lower, i'll probably grab one.

Most people seem to say to stay away from 3tb and either for 2, or 4. But I found a 3TB WD mybook at best buy for $85 a few months back and had to grab it

If u can wait there will be really good deals on black Friday im sure

If you're not wanting something with external power, there's only a few above $85-90 / 2TB.

One is the WD Passport Ultra 3TB, though that's around $140-$145. There's a Samsung 4TB external at $150-$160 and the Seagate Backup Plus Slim 4TB @ $170.

My 4TB My Book external drive is AC-powered, though I never turn it off. It goes into sleep mode when there's nothing coming across the USB connection.

I have the VIP membership from the LCE release of Forza 4 and it didn't give me a discount on the Porsche Expansion sale price of $9.99 when I bought it Monday night. I don't recall how much the initial discount was and/or if it expired (maybe $5 off)?

I got three achievements last night. Holy geez it is annoying though, it is much more similar, imo, to Farmville, than Candy Crush, but, in all fairness, I didn't play Candy Crush as much as Farmville.

Based on the deals we have gotten over the last year I would not hold my breath on any non retail games going on digital sale. I've had a $7 and change that have been in my account from April I think waiting for anything of note. Now a days its mostly GTA, Battlefield, COD, Forza, Assassins Creed and a few other retail titles per week.

Frozen Freefall is evil. Starts you out all nice and slow, and makes you think, "Hey, this is easy. It's a Bejeweled clone for kids". Then, bam, you get timed levels where you have to build multiplyers, and you end up going cross-eyed with frustration and rage quit.
