PES 2016 has a different listing here and it's not on sale.

Does that mean it's region locked or something like that? When a Steam game has a different listing it means if you own a certain version you can only play with people with the same one.

That means I can't play with US players and therefore its online is going to die sooner, right?

EDIT: only 67% off on Mirror's Edge? It's been on sale a thousand times for 75% off come on EA

The game is fantastic - the Season Pass - eh, I'm not sure I would pay $30. To get $30 of "value," I think you're really going to want to play the 'score attack' mode over and over and over and over (you replay 'levels' to get higher scores/complete certain goals in time limits). When I finished the game, I tried out a few 'score attack' levels, and then I moved on to another game. Having said that, if they release a sizeable expansion to the base game, then maybe if the price lowers. The one tomb they're including, who knows how big or involved it will be.

Since the new sale is so Skate heavy, I bought a bunch of stuff from last week's sale this morning - Epic Mickey 2, Max Payne 3 + the season pass, the Dungeon Siege DLC, Mortal Kombat Kollection and Mortal Kombat vs. DCU. I'm hoping better stuff goes on sale before the week ends.
 
I swear I have the worst luck.

I bought a special edition XB1 Rock Band 4 band bundle from Target yesterday, drove an hour back home, unboxed, assembled... and the drums and guitar were for PS4. The box and software was the only correct XB1 platform. So now I have to drive another two hours round-trip after work today.

Stuff that is cool:

- The voice acting for the protagonist is not great. If I crashed on a planet and had no clue where I was, I would be a bit more surprised at stuff I come across. The voice actor comes across as bored.

- The jumping is kind of floaty at times. Not as bad as Sackboy/LBP, just not very sturdy feeling. I do not think this has to do with the location's gravity, because you walk everywhere - jumping is just a bit off. Sometimes you overshoot your landing.

So far, so good. Will probably finish it over the next day or so.

Unravel (the game with the red Yarny guy) will be $19.99 when it launches early next year. Hopefully since this is an EA game, we get a nice Access discount, too.  :D/

Nice to see the Mirror's Edge Time Trial DLC on sale for the first time in four and a half years, so I'm in for that. Maybe I'll even play it to finally (well, hopefully) complete the game. I don't quite get the logic of making the full game sale Gold exclusive but the DLC sale for Gold and Silver, but whatever.

I've wanted to play the Van Helsing game for so long so this is great, also can see how butchered Sacred 3 is without spending money on it (It seems kind of Gauntlet-y rather then Sacred, so I may still enjoy it somewhat at least)

This game was so boring. Yeah, I know it's supposed to be one of the more "realistic" shooters and hence why I got it, but omg was it slow and boring. Probably just like in real life, you get sniped out of nowhere and die. Tons of driving around or getting driven around from destination to destination.

I'm happy with the other free games though. Haven't played any so to the backlog they go!

You are correct. I wanted to like it - but I couldn't bring myself to finish it. I just remember it took 57 years to reload your gun.

Yeah, I really hadn't paid much attention to the Sacred series but looking at it, Sacred 3 did get some God-awful reviews.

And we all know what a steaming pile Thief is (played about 30 minutes of the 360 version when it was GwG and never looked back).

Van Helsing is the only thing I'm looking forward to with this batch.
 
I own none of those games (except the GWG repeats) so that's cool I guess.

No one wants there mouth showing on Xbox one game covers.

Great list IMO. Games like Sacred 3, Van Helsing, and Thief are dead on the GWG sweet spot for me-- stuff I'm mildly interested in checking out, but wouldn't want to pay money for.

Same. Thief will get lost in the abyss of my backlog but I'm always down to play co-op games no matter how mediocre they may be. Hit me up on XBL if you (or anyone else) wants to run Van Helsing. Its supposed to have 4 player co-op. Hopefully it's ONLINE and not stupid ass local.
 
Square Enix loves to give their games away for free. Maybe I'll just wait for Rise of the Tomb Raider to be GwG.

I'm predicting Murdered: Soul Suspect will be a future GwG. Likely on both systems. Prices have dropped. I'm sure they'll have one more Deals with Gold sale on them and then a couple of months later it will be free. :)

I installed both AC:Syndicate and RotTR last night before I traded them in. I even played RotTR for a little bit, hoping that would trigger the rattlesnake skin thingy.
