I believe it's his TV, yeah I've not experienced this yet. Although I have experienced some 3D with Metroid Pinball on the 3DS and it was pretty slick. I can imagine how it looks on a bigger screen, say like a TV.

And oh man, if Dirt Rally makes it to console!

I find that most games are better than what reviewers think. My standards are much lower. Plus, I play games much less frequently and at a much slower pace than most reviewers so i'm going to be more forgiving about a game's shortcomings by default. The game review process has always been a questionable process in my opinion. Most people don't get a game to burn through it in just a few days to have a full impression of it like a reviewer does.

 
I just went into it with absolutely no baggage about what a Resident Evil game is or is not "supposed to" be, since I hadn't played very many of them before. And from that perspective it is a kick-ass third person shooter with amazing graphics, memorable characters, and ridiculously exciting set pieces. It's also like a 25-hour campaign (with some pacing issues admittedly), and I didn't even touch the score attack mode which a lot of people love. So a ton of content too.

They sent me a ps4 copy of Mad Max along with all the other x1 games I ordered,at first I thought maybe I messed up but the insert even says xbx1 next to it smh.
 
Is it just me or are some of these games from Best Buy resealed? I ordered Wolfenstein (around launch) last year and was missing all the beta stuff. Now some of my new PS4 games look repackaged (Madden 16, Mortal Kombat X, The Witcher 3)

RE6 is a decent game but Resident Evil being it's title drug it down. The action sequences just got way too over the top even compared to RE5, and while the gameplay is fun, your character has way too much mobility and too many abilities to ever come close to you becoming scared in any way. Aside from that it's very much a third person shooter first and foremost, with virtually no puzzles or exploration. Not that I can really talk about what people want, despite all the changes and negative reviews it was still the highest selling Resident Evil by a pretty big margin.

As a long time RE fan it was the game where I felt like they really ran out of ideas. RE5 pretty much wrapped up the story elements from the classic games and if seemed like they were starving for new ideas, so we got things like Neo-Umbrella and Wesker's never before mentioned son.

Beyond that the problem it had for me was longevity, since Mercenaries was where the new gameplay really shined, but there were only 3 maps at launch with several more being on disc, day one DLC that was over priced with some being pre-order bonuses. It also had new multiplayer modes locked behind DLC The PC version had all the maps and extras included, plus some new stuff on top, and it was a better game for it.

Still, it's a fun game, and I'd recommend the Remaster(?) if you like shooters, as it does have a unique feel. If it comes with all Mercenaries maps, extra modes, and hopefully the fun costumes that were locked behind RE.net unlocks than it's a much more full experience. Maybe we'll get lucky and the PC exclusive modes (which basically just spawn a LOT more enemies at once) come with it too, and if we're REALLY lucky the Left 4 Dead 2 crossover stuff comes too. I think they'll add something new in too, since RE0 HD has started down that path, even if it's something minor like one new costume per character. If this is worth picking up comes down to the price too. I'm expecting $40 minimum, with $60 being a possibility if they tweak the graphics at all.

Hopefully they fix my biggest nitpick at least. You couldn't use costumes in the Story mode stuff, only in Mercenaries.

 
I thought RE6 was scary. Monsters all over the world, not just in one house. The lives of millions in danger versus one town. Millions dying is much scarier to me. It is just a different type of horror than people are used to. Plus co-op was very fun and I almost shit myself a few times in the Jake campaign. I remember when a big seemingly unkillable monster used to be scary.

Edit: Thought of one more. Slow moving zombie that you can easily dodge vs. fast zombie with a gun. If I had to fight one, I'd pick slow moving zombie any day.

I played RE6 with a friend a while back and we both enjoyed the whole game. I took us like 40 hours to beat the whole game and it was pretty great. The worst campaign has to be Chris Redfields campaign because of how boring it was. I don't know why but me and my friend found the Jake campaign to be the funniest mostly because 
We just thought it was pretty ridiculous seeing Ustanak still being alive after thinking he died at the end of every chapter.

 
Has anyone taken the plunge on Chivalry? I enjoyed it back when it first came out on PC quite a bit. Not a game you can sit and play for long stretches I think but was still a solid game. How does it carry over to consoles and does it still hold up years later?

Jake's campaign was definitely the best, it was like playing a so-terrible-its-great b-movie. The end was pretty good, too. I'll probably pick up RE6 Remastered when its like $10 or something.
