I enjoyed it as well. Jack Bauer and the terrorist dude from Air Force One shouting at you through levels while you avoid banzai attacks and grenades is something I'll probably recall for years. Veteran mode was so absurd, but finishing it was an accomplishment of some sort. My bias is that I only enjoy Call of Duty when they're set in World War 2. I really wished they had expanded on the way they tried to have those brief History Channel-like clips before each level, helping to give information on the setting and the importance of the battle. It just makes sense to inform the player of the context if they're going to capitalize off of it.

Oddly, I don't like the modernization of these games. Though I did like the first modern Medal of Honor. While the storyline of sacrifice was not subtle in the game, it didn't feel like an absurd, overly forced moment like so many other modern shooters, where they over emphasize the loss of someone.

I've read a lot of comments about their xbox funds expiring. I've never read about anything like that. Exactly what type of funds can expire? Is it the credit from XBL rewards program? Where can you see the expiration date?

 
Bought Shooting Love 200X to show some love to the shmup genre. Tried their Shmups skill test, first time it graded me as 61 years old. Second time through was better, 42. Only a few years off, though I'm sure I can drop that down farther.

When MS points were transitioned to credit, that credit had an expiration, which I'm pretty sure has passed. Promotional credit like from XBL Rewards and possibly Bing also expire. Money spent on the marketplace first uses expiring credit. Sign in to https://commerce.microsoft.com/, go to Payment Options and check your Microsoft account. It will show you what part of your balance, if any, has an expiration and the date.

A little under 7 days & 12 hours until the Microsoft Build 2015 event.  I'm excited.

Its a Windows thing, but Microsoft has said it will dabble on Xbox stuff, too.  I'm expecting more of Xbox on Windows 10....and hopefully Windows 10 on Xbox...!!

Dang, and I still can't dl Army of Two from the site. Hope they fix the problem before the end of the month.

Update: I called MS regarding the Army of Two issue and the rep informed me that for some reason the license was pulled and is no longer available for GwG at least online. It still works when you dl from any other platform per his statement. He said he hasn't been able to dl it online either. I then informed him about the update issue and he said it was the first he's heard anyone having problems but he will submit a ticket to have it looked into.

I reviewed Infinity Runner for an Italian website recently. If Temple Run kind of games are your thing, grab it - it's cheap and fun, although it's kinda meh from a technical point of view (graphics, collision detection, etc.). The repetition is high and the stages are short (it's not endless stages like in Temple Run), so you can complete the game in like 2 hours if you're good at it, but high scores and leaderboards can keep you coming back, although it probably won't. A nice and cheap-ish call if you need a runner on your Xbox One, otherwise you can gladly skip it for now, it'll probably be 50% off soon.

 
isnt' there some date where your XBL pointns disappear or something? I remember getting an email about that a while back but i guess xbox doesn't keep your emails? I think its bs that theyre doing it but i better try to spend my points before theyre gone, whats the cut off for it? Dont want to get screwed like i did with club nintendo

From what the other cags just told me, the expiration was probably 1 year from the time that they transitioned points to currency. Even then, I did not know that when they did the conversion of any funds that were in your account prior

to the conversion, that It had an expiration on it. I believe I had none at the time so I did not bother to care, but seems

harsh to me that they would put an expiration on it.

I wanted to know more because I wasn't actively gaming during the transition, and I recently added some codes from very old physical xbl point cards that were converted to currency, and after checking, they have no expiration. Recently had an xbl rewards deposit of like $20, that however has a 1 year expiration date next to it.

I still have about $140 in xbox live cards, and will now never load more funds than i plan on spending.

Yeah, like Eldritch said, those codes are expected to no longer be able for redemption on June 1. However, once they're redeemed, you have 1 year from the date of redemption to use the balance that was added to your account (so April-May 2016 if you redeem soon). I say put them on your account now, and buy less conservatively over the next year to use it up.

That's cute. I just spent literally seconds looking this promotion up to humor myself and found out it did indeed expire March 31st 2014, but I still recommend you buy it and try redeeming it over and over again. It might eventually work!

As a long time player the actual gameplay is the best ever and for sure "current gen" graphics which honestly most games can't say. To Frisky's point the my player story is very very dumb. As far as Myteam I play on Ps4 and the auction house is very messed up because of some point glitches when the game released. Also very, very micro transaction driven if you want to go far. Myteam could be a better experience on he One but I kind of doubt it.

Idk I updated mine last night and it was fine? Played last night as well as this morning. After I first updated it wouldn't load all my games but that just took a restart and everything was smooth again.
 
Is there any way to see how much credit you've had expire over the years?

I doubt it's affected me but I wonder if my younger brothers have been. They currently have no expiring credit though.
