Main difference is, the first game will be available from the 1st to the 31st, while the second game will be available from the 16th to the 15th of the following month.

As for deals, picked up Thomas Was Alone. A short and easy 1k for $5? I'm in for that. Also debating on State of Decay. The 33% offer ends today and not sure if I want to pick it up today or wait out for a cheaper sale in the future. Might be a stupid question, but is the exclusive character always available or is she only available for people who took advantage of the early discount?

 
36 in August. Three kids, wife, job, and I'm back in school. Gaming was gone for awhile, but TLOU brought me back.

The worst thing is the load times, and for whatever reason it only lets you install disc 2 to your console's official hard drive, it wouldn't let me use my external.

I'm okay with longer load times (Skyrim had plenty of those and I love that game) and texture pop in and less shiny and pretty graphics. I'm even okay with tiny text. I've been playing Dragon's Dogma and it has fairly small text as well.

I read on another forum (GameFAQs) that you can't install the game, so it constantly spins and grinds and could possibly ruin my disc drive. That, I am not okay with. Perhaps I am being overly paranoid though. But if anyone could shed any light to ease said paranoia, that would be great.

I've been waiting for the price to go down on Amazon, since it isn't available on the Xbl marketplace, but I haven't decided yet if it will be worth the risk, just in case.

@ Tandjame it's okay, it got pretty exciting in here last night. I figured my 2nd post about DA:I would get buried as well haha. So thank you guys for replying.

I can't comment on the Rock Band 2 achievement, but to echo bob101910, Seriously 3.0 is not hard, it's just (incredibly) time consuming. Don't have it yet, but I'll get there.

The list is seriously lacking in bullet hell shooter entries. The Wave 100 achievement in Robotron 2084 should also be up there. List is also out a little early, I suspect a Battletoads achievement or two from Rare Replay would end up cracking a top 10 list.

Just turned 32 this month. First memory I have of gaming is as a 3 year at my mom's work in a warehouse full of arcade cabinets. I could play any game I wanted since I had the key to every machine in that place. Mom would work and I'd play games for 8 hours a day.......this gaming obsession is your fault MOM

Bladder of Steel achievement for me too. Yes it is time consuming, but one accidental guide button press or cramped hands would lead to a restart. Had to do it over two or three times to finally get it. I just like to game, collect achievements and have fun. That Cloudberry Kingdom chievo is just not fun for me. Nope

And in that time, PC got DLC and a patch. I would never go console for Payday, Overkill cares much more about their PC audience than console.

Yeah, it seems a lot of those "hardest" achievements aren't really hard, as long as you devote enough time to them. Like that mortal kombat one that requires 600+ hours? Forget it. I was 50 points from completing assassins creed 2 but didn't feel like finding all those damn feathers. Dark souls I think is the only game I've ever "completed". I'm working on adding more to that sad little list but time constraints and video game ADD makes it hard.
 
I've played Gears of War 3 (outside of a 5 mouth hiatus when Judgment came out) at least 4 times a week since 2011. I am not even close to Seriously 3.0. I've tried several times, but the amount of grinding is just ridiculous.

Surprise those Final Fantasy XI achievements weren't on that list.

 
I think they are confusing hardest with least respectful of a players time. I don't go for those time consuming ones but I appreciate a difficult one like the borderlands no scope 360 one or the halo reach one where you had to save yourself from a fall death by killing someone.

I enjoyed Duke Nukem Manhattan Project. But really, there hasn't been a good DN game since the 90's(15+ years ago). Console ports have been okay but not like they were when Duke was popular in the early/mid 90's.

Fair enough, the Network is far from perfect. I have also ran into some similar issues with some older content, specifically WCW stuff for some reason. For the price and amount of content I get on a weekly basis it's worth it to me, but I am also a pretty hardcore wrestling fan.

That Halo Reach one is extremely easy. Just keep playing the single player level that starts you up on the cliff. If you time the jump just right, you can assassinate the elite at the bottom.
 
Well, to add the all the old fossils here, I'm 47 and remember when I needed an actual console to play all the 2600 games that are now on my Kindle. How time flies....

Really precise timing though. You can activate it too early and too late, kill him, but not have it pop. Pretty much everyone I know who got it had to restart over and over for quite a while.

 
anyone here have the Handsome Jack Collection? I'm trying to play BL2 with my cousin and the connection keeps failing on his end. We've both done hard resets, ejected the game discs, checked our MP/internet connections...nothing. Has anyone had this issue while trying to play online? Its worked perfectly for us since I got it on release date but now all of a sudden its giving us hell.

Oh yeah, I remember that one. Wouldn't call it hard... but annoying as it wouldn't trigger all the time.

IIRC, it had to do with timing and positioning for both you and the Elite. Once you got that down, you could pull it off consistently
