About Onigiri, it didn't show up for me either on my Italian settings. Once I changed it to USA there it was, ready to install. Downloaded it and it's right before the Japanese version in my games list, with the same Japanese title, but the logo is slightly different, with the logo saying Onigiri rather than the Japanese symbols. I'll give it a shot later today, despite not understanding much I had a good time with the game back in the day, now I can finally know wtf I'm doing!

I started playing Smite today and it is a really fun game to play with a group of friends. I was wondering if anyone thinks if I the Founders Pack is worth it? So far I only play with two characters since out of all the ones I tried I do the best with Zeus and Bellona.

If you see yourself playing any decent amount, yes. I bought it already, had some fun playing on pc before. I do hate HiRez a little for how they abandoned Tribes.
 
This weekend's free movie is Survivor, starring Milla Jovovich and Pierce Brosnan. Milla's character survives a terrorist bombing, uncovers the truth about the bombing, and an assassin played by Pierce Brosnan means to silence her.
 
So, I bought ACC China at the start of the sale, still trying to work out what else to get. Anyone played The Bridge? Slender and White Night sound interesting, but I'm not really into horror, so will probably pass. I have Fable 3 from GwG, and physical Fable 2 PH, but I may spring for the collection just to have anniversary. I'm torn on Ori, everyone says it is great, but it is bound to be cheaper before I'd actually play it, I'll try to watch some gameplay to help decide. I think Tales from the Borderlands is the only TellTale I don't have yet, so will probably get that for X1. Blood of the Werewolf looks cheap enough for an impulse buy. I'm passing on Goat Sim based on a lot of people saying it is fun for the first few minutes then nothing (also, I have the android version). And I think I'll pick up Lego Batman 3 Deluxe, which wasn't even on my radar, because that is a crazy price for all the content. This could end up costing me a lot of credit.

This is what I was thinking as well. Even though the reviews aren't great it looks like something single for the parent-type gamer.

Also, I'm hoping someone can answer this. I'm completely new to xbox live rewards (joined in March I think). Anyway, I bought Forza Horizon 2 last month which should count towards the racing game thing. Anyway, it doesn't show any progress for that challenge when I'm logged in to XL rewards. Is that normal?

 
Does Fable Trilogy come with the DLC for the last 2 games? I have both those digital already but none of the DLC, and Anniversary on disc. I'm wondering if it's worth it to make the switch.

I wouldn't call it a must have, but it is not a bad game. Very fun in co-op

EastX is giving away copies of Payday 2 on stream tonight. Some people still have large problems with the game, but they haven't been a big problem for me. If you play private matches or host your own lobbies then there are no problems. You'll be able to check it out for yourself tonight.

I could be wrong but I believe the reason you don't see progress for the challenge is because you had to buy it this month. Since you bought it in June, it won't count unfortunately.

 
I'm trying to purchase Mass Effect on my 360. The game is $4.99 and I have $3.60 in my account. When I go to purchase, it isn't choosing account balance as the preferred payment option. It has my card. I don't want to pay the full amount with my card, but it isn't letting me select my Microsoft account balance to pay with first.
 
It's been awhile since I've done a split transaction, but am I missing something obvious or is it just not giving me the option here?

Ok guys... Big dilemma here.. As a person that's not too keen on fps games but enjoyed the farcry franchise is fc4 any good??? (I preferred fc2 over fc1-3 and although short blood dragon had me in stitches...)

4 is just like 3, but feels bigger because half the map isn't water.

Since a lot of people are getting KI and few have asked about fightsticks, I wanted to remind everybody that Evo is next weekend. Sticks are usually 50%-60% off. I got mine for under $100 a few years ago and it still works great after mashing using it for hundreds of hours.

Def worth a fiver, especially if you enjoyed Mark of the Ninja. A solid 6-10 hours to finish and get all of the collectibles. More replay beyond that if you want to delve into Plus and Plus Hard.

That's why I'm personally holding off. I paid about $20 for Far Cry 3 and didn't regret it, but Far Cry 4 just hasn't hit my sweet spot yet, price wise. If I had a gold sub (on 360) I'd have considered paying the $3-4 extra during this sale, but I don't so it wasn't worth it to me. Another time.

I feel bad that I'm not picking up KI. Told myself that I would pick it up when ever it would go on sale. But now I got MK awhile ago, and I'm getting back into smash brothers and DOA.

Although I hate assassin's creed, I might pick up China because it looks neat.

I bought it a couple days ago. Played for about 45 minutes. I was expecting to be blown away, but was a little underwhelmed. The gameplay mechanics are fairly repetitive. I'll play it again, most likely in coop with my kid. Don't see it being in heavy rotation though.
 
I started playing Goat Simulator yesterday and played a little more today. Its a pretty retarded game but its funny. The novelty wears off after a few hours but for $6 I think its worth it.

I paid 20 euro for fc3 disc copy and I suppose I got my money's worth, here in Italy fc4 is at 12 euro for the 360 at the moment... So i Just grabbed it now!!! ;)

KI is the better deal, for sure. MK is probably the more popular one..I know you can download a free version of KI to try it out. If you played MK9 or injustice and liked those you'll like MKX

They are 2 very different types of fighting games. Almost like comparing Halo to Garden Warfare because they are both shooters.

I like KI better because I'm a fan of classic Capcom's 6 button controls (light, medium, heavy for kicks/punches) plus the online play is nearly flawless 99% of matches. You can actually have online tournaments or practice for local tournaments by playing online. A PC version is coming out next year that will be cross-buy and cross-play, so you can buy all content on X1 and have it on PC also. You can play with PC players from X1 and vice versa. Season 3 hasn't officially been announced, but it has been heavily hinted at. Most likely will be announced next week. This means there will be a steady stream of new content throughout 2016. There is more content planned by the end of this year that is technically still part of season 2. Very fast paced game compared to MKX.

MKX is the bigger budget of the two games and has amazing visuals. The control scheme is different (run button, button to block, 4 button controls). Story mode is a lot of fun to play and offline the game runs great. However online is bad, but if you can get used to it as long as you don't play KI (Online for KI is godlike). They've made it better since launch, but you won't see online tournaments for the game, cannot practice for offline tournaments by playing online, and the game is region locked (ex: can only play with US players if in US). MKX is not a good starter Mortal Kombat game. Timing for kombos are much harder to get than in MK9. Very slow paced game compared to KI.

Since you haven't played a fighting game in awhile, I recommend KI over MKX. There is a great tutorial and practice mode in KI (completely free to play any mode) that will help you with any fighting game, including MKX. MKX is not a good "starter" MK. It was made for veterans of the series. At the very least, go through Dojo mode (tutorial) of KI and see if you like the game. Developers for both games are hands on with the community, so expect both games to be supported (MK until Injustice 2, maybe a little beyond). It was great seeing Iron Galaxy (KI Devs) front row at Combo Breaker (Big fighting game tournament) watching KI top 8 carefully for stuff they could improve.

So, my wife loves Game of Thrones, but has rage quit every time I've tried to get her to play a video game. I love video games, and my knowledge of Game of Thrones doesn't go far past the fact that I'm vaguely aware that Joffrey is scum. Would Game of Thrones be an excellent medium for both of us, or a total waste of our money?

The Telltale GoT? Would be decent imo. You can't really lose while playing it, and there are some interesting decisions to make. Its less game and more interactive story. I play them with a lady friend and make her make all the decisions while I control the game.
