The only way for them to change it is to rewrite the back end systems on Xbox Live. So no.

Or that the package would be more than just emulators, but actually ports.

You know what actually makes me happy about BC is not just the ability to play on one system, but also to get space back on my 360! The external HD on my One makes things manageable, for now. But every month I have to decide what to get rid of on my 360 if I want to download the GWG or if there are any great sales (because they happen so often. Lol).

These plus all GWG being BC going forward is awesome from that point of view.

They'll be fine, they just need to skip selling amiibos through retailers and auction them to people directly. Let them profit off the demand rather than the scalpers. Then unveil 2,000+ new figures that cover the Pokemon and Animal Crossing franchises.

 
Adventures of pip coming to X1 in a couple weeks. Has anyone played it yet? I thought it looked pretty good. I absolutely can not wait for that new Ron Gilbert game, though. Scalebound went from being something I was mildly interested in to being something I want day 1.

Ummm, Blue Dragon bundles sold tons but then they sold the 360's back after they finished. Microsoft's fuck up was in not constantly having exclusive games that most Japanese people wanted. Yes, Tales Of Vesperia came out but it didn't release at around the same time or even close. MS needed to make sure between releases that there was only a gap of a month or two but MS didn't commit.

Never mind the fact Mistwalker was good publicity for gamers that don't fap to Halo or GoW, consider it to be the be-all, end all of MS stuff. For those who liked RPG's as well as other stuff there was Mistwalker and Rare.

Honestly, the good PR in drawing gamers with Mistwalker, Microsoft should've shut the fuck up and taken a loss on their products. I mean do you think that Sony makes a profit from most of "Sony Picture Classics" films? No, they have taken a bath most of the time. Sony is taking a constant bath with "The Last Guardian" but the goodwill it engenders with gamers sees them buy a PS4 and will more likely have more game sales.

 
Played a little Rare Replay, gotta say it's easily worth the $10 (after cereal coupon and $10 back eventually). Works out to about 50 cents a game if the whiners don't wanna count the BC 360 games. Love the interface as well.
 
I'm a fan of MS and their console and the games for it, but I'm getting a little worn out on the "Greatest Games Lineup in Xbox History" schtick...

I've been playing it on iOS and it's a good game (but on iOS the touch controls need some work).

I think almost every press conference, MS, Sony, Nintendo...uses nearly the same line just substituting their console. What do you expect them to say "the crappiest games lineup in Xbox history"? It's all PR speak.

I do love the one I have on my OG Xbox controller. So much nicer for doing messages, XBL codes, searches and the like.

For $10 more than the Stereo Adapter, it's well worth the difference.

 
After Gears of War and Shadow Complex were announced as coming to Preview members yesterday, I was really hoping that another batch of backward-compatible games were forthcoming.

Maybe Wednesday or Thursday during the Xbox Daily broadcasts?  Here's hoping.

Those buttons are programmable. You can use them to record, take screen shots, etc...

I just wasted my entire day off playing Rare Replay, and most of that time was spent on that goddamned Clinger Winger level in Battletoads.  I've tried for hours and I can't do it. I booted up the NES version and was able to clear it in 5 lives, I'm convinced it's the X1 d-pad that is frustrating me. I can't wait until 3rd parties release some worthwhile alternatives.
