If you like marvel, get the game. It's $5 and nearly every character is represented in the game. The gameplay is fluid and looks great. I enjoy it with my kids and I know I can leave them to play it without worrying about the content.

I've been wanting to play Never Alone. Was going to get it at launch but then it got such poor reviews for the controls/hit detection that I've been waiting. Now that it's on sale I'm tempted to continue waiting for the inevitable 75-100% off, unless I catch up on my backlog first...

It's a fun game until you go for the 100%. It took me 35 hours to get everything in the game and by then I was sick of Lego games.
 
Lego Marvel is great, and an amazing deal at $5

I didn't bother to finish the goal of 100% on the One, already did it on the 360

But the variety of characters is great and the open world is fun

The last Lego game I got was Batman 3, and while still fun, it seemed like a big letdown compared to Marvel

The whole suit thing just becomes annoying and no open world seems like a step back

30-40 hours has been the norm for me to 100% a Lego game. On the 360, I've completed the 3 Star Wars games, both Indys, both Potters and the first Batman, and IIRC, the only one outside that time frame for me was Star Wars Complete, which is essentially a double game and took me around 68 hours. The time was also inflated due to the challenges that involved completing each movie's story within a certain amount of time with a certain number of Lego studs collected (multipliers disabled). Had to do a few of those more than once.

Still have Pirates, LOTR and Batman 2 in my 360 backlog and Batman 3 on XB1. For $5, Lego Marvel will most likely join the group before the sales end.

All the ones I could find were charging docks and while that capability is nice, I don't necessarily need it. The first one you linked is really nice! I wouldn't mind a themed one, but not a fan of those Halo ones.

 
Yah I've only 100%d the first Lego Batman and first Lego Indt. The grinding does really test your patience. I don't want to play through every level twice, let alone look around for stuff in the Open world Hub.

Yet I'll still play then just to beat the story and get any misc achievements I can.

FTPs are really duking it out this weekend because there is also:

Smite is having 2X "Everything" this weekend (followers, favor, etc), all gods are free to try out and legacy chests with past items are available. FYI, win ten matches of Smite in August to get Hercules free with the retro skin and Kevin Sorbo's voice pack. Also, the Founder's Pack disappears when the beta ends August 19th. It will be replaced by a new gods pack without the gems and exclusive skins for an unnamed price.

Not to be outdone, World of Tanks is having a big XP weekend with 5XP (for the first win in each tank per day), a repeatable 2xp mission, a free tank for logging in, and a lot of discounts on in game items (mostly 50% off) and a bunch of other stuff.

Looks really fun and I would buy it if I didn't have other stuff to play. Will get it when it gets a bigger price cut. The idea of using a Kinect in that way had been thrown around before, but I'm not sure if anybody else has made it into a full game yet
 
Super Mega Baseball was everything I hoped it would be. Can't wait to finish customizing the rosters so I can jump into season mode. The gameplay is fantastic. Anyone else been playing this today?

I just tried the demo for 10 mins and had to hurry and quit out to buy it. This game is great and I don't care if it doesn't have the MLB license. The weird thing is, this game feels very nintendo like in a very good way.

 
How is smite on the xbone? Do you play vs pc players or just xbox players?

I've played quite a bit of league of legends and am curious how the moba does on te console.

Ha, to be honest, I don't think I can recommend it at $20 unless you're a pretty big fan of baseball / baseball games and have someone local to play it with. There's just exhibition and season mode, plus couch co-op / vs multiplayer. No online play. I've been craving a baseball game for a while so I'm totally happy with the purchase, but I can see how others might not be.

Besides the rudimentary game mechanics and terminology, I don't know much about baseball. The only american sports I understand enough to watch are basketball & football :)

This is off topic but another good mlb game was mlb power pros. It's a little old but it was a very fun baseball game. It also gives off that nintendo vibe in a very good way.
