Are they though? What's come out recently that wasn't a localization or port? RotR (had zero idea this even came out on 360) is by far the biggest followed by BLOPS 3 (and that's just a pared back, super ugly MP only release). Everything else is that sort of annualized, mass market fodder that will continue to sell well to families who won't/can't upgrade until the system is $200. Still plenty of life in both consoles but they're definitely an after thought at this point to MS and Sony.

Nothing wrong with it since that's how consoles end their lives at retail and over 10 years of relevance is insane.

Finished all Knight Squad challenges. The last one only requires you to kill 1 enemy for the 200 point achievement. They all feel really hard at first, but aren't too bad after a few attempts.

In case anyone having trouble buying games on X1, showing as "Bundle Only", you may have to do from xbox.com

Doing that to me for DMC4.

I know some people were having trouble DLing the 360 games.

In some cases it'll show the bundle and regular version. Seems to vary amongst people as of now.

Understood. It would be awesome if they sold $99 360 bundles this year but it'll never happen. I bought one of those Call of Duty holiday bundles to replace my 4 gb arcade 360 last January when Target put them on clearance and I love mine. It's mouse fart quiet.

Both it and Small Arms were. If you toggle the "previous admin response" on both, it says they were in the preview program, and another admin updated them yesterday that they were completed. Perhaps completed there doesn't necessarily mean they're available on the marketplace / download queue yet.

 
Small Arms never appeared on my list during the preview program. I wonder if others had issues with it as well. Either that, or maybe it had a pull/relist process like Wolfenstein 3D did (another game I can't access in BC without rebuying).

Has anyone else that bought the :xb1: chat pad not been able to update the firmware when it is plugged into a controller?  The console thinks there are two controllers connected via USB (old style controller) and I can't continue.

It was delivered today, but I haven't been able to use it yet because of the above issue. Maybe I should break out one of the new controllers that doesn't require a USB cable to update firmware...

EDIT: Using a newer controller did the trick.

I've been wanting to get it in store, but it keeps on saying another date, so tomorrow i will call bestbuy, and ask if it's in stock because the 18th is said to be the release date, if not then ill just order it. Tired of waiting for this considering the said dates of release

You can just do what I do. Limit your XB1 purchases until you are done with your 360 games. I have my brother's XB1 at my house until I am able to get my own. I have myself on an EA Access/Halo only diet for XB1 purchases until I'm ready to be 100% XB1. That's when I (and the wife) will be ok building up the XB1 backlog. By that time, all these games will be cheap.

I am definitely upgrading this Black Friday though. I have BB credit and the console bundles are excellent deals. We can do this together my friend.
 
Quick question. Does anyone have EA Access and play live 16 for 10 hours the full game? For some reason it is letting me play a "trial" but nothing is even available. Thought I would get 10 hours since I never played it

I want to say this is how the trial is designed because I booted it up for some head to head with my brother just two or three nights ago. We were so excited to go Dallas vs San Antonio, and then we found out you can only play 6 teams in Play Now mode haha we settled for the West Coast rivalry instead of our rivalry...

I feel ya. I have an Xbox One and was holding onto some :360: games in the chance they'd become backwards compatible. Ultimately do what is best for your budget.

I jumped out of :360: completely with minimal regret.
 
Quick question that's kind of on-topic: As someone that's possibly getting into digital buying (since I'm thinking about getting a second Xbox One so I can game share co-op games with my wife), what's the CAG-way of buying digitally?

I have Best Buy's GCU but I know that doesn't work on digital purchases and GameStop doesn't seem sell many digital games (for obvious reasons) so I can't even use points to get discounts there. Amazon seems to be an option for using credit to get games, and maybe Xbox Live Rewards? Just curious how/if people buy digitally to save any bit of scratch they can.

Wait for weekly sales and hope there's something you want. The Black Friday (digital) sale starts in a few days - that's your best chance to get good digital games cheap(er).

Oh, and the countdown to New Years sales have always resulted in me buying quite a few games. This is the best possible time to go all digital with all the sales coming up.

I think the best way to get cheap digital content was the golden crisp coupons that took $10 off a purchase of $25 or more at the MS store. People were getting a lot of XBL credit at 40% off (not including cost of cereal) which is probably the best deal around. Also, when bundles get released with a game that is a digital code ie Halo MCC,or AC Unity/4 you can usually find a code for that game pretty cheap after a few weeks.

Watch for deals on spacebucks, if you have a Fred Meyer close by they often have stacking coupons for 28% off. You can also make some credit using bing searches, but I'm too lazy for that.

Gamedealdaily and cdkeys sometimes have keys for decent prices. As MrshllJcb said, with all these bundles expect codes to flood eBay. Check the trade thread here, lots of good deals there.

I sold my 360 to make way for my X1. For a year I was fine, but then I started thinking about how many great last gen games I might have missed out on so I bought a used 360 in June. I love switching back and forth between the two consoles. Although sometimes it gets hard sitting through some of those games from 2008-11 when you see just how much more powerful the One is in comparison.
