I still think these sales need more backlog support, $5 or less games. Debating a digital copy of Force Unleashed now that I have seen this weeks deals.

They don't do that anymore unless it's for certain people. Anytime I need quick credit for PSN or XBL credit, I get it from Amazon and the last time they asked for a CC for verification was probably almost two years ago.

edit- Ok so they do it when you buy it frequently. I usually buy like once a month so they don't ask for it. Actually bought some today too and they didn't need it.

Yeah, it's for when you buy MS $ on there frequently. I'd rather take a few minutes to verify, knowing that Amazon checks that sort of thing. Too many people getting ripped off these days.

I do, not sure what you need to know. I paid $10 for the Rally expansion 2 years ago. I popped 9 out of 10 achievements within 3 hours of gaming according to True Achievements. The only achievement left is win 10 ranked races which wouldn't take long. I don't remember it clearly, but I don't think I'd buy it for $!0 today with so many other games available. For instance The Crew had a major free update recently that practically makes it a new game. You can get that on current gen machines for around $15.

I have no interest in the Alien DLC just because there's no achievements, but just because it seems lazy not to add them, I love the main game though

I bought it during the holiday sale after watching some twitch footage (that must have been from pc). It's pretty rough. Under $10 I'd recommend it. For big fans of the series or medieval melees, it wouldn't be a terrible way to spend $14.

I found a new copy of Horizon for 360 at Target shortly before Black Friday so that's why I was even considering the DLC. As far as I can tell, the DLC doesn't go on sale too often. On the other hand, I'm looking at the Alien Isolation: Collection and Adventures of Pip on Xbox One. I'll probably go with those since they will probably get more play.

For Forza Horizon 1 (360), I would skip the VIP Pass unless you love the cars in the pack - you won't get any gift cars at this point and VIP designation doesn't do anything "extra" unlike in Forza 6 and Forza Horizon 2. You also have to use in-game currency to add the VIP cars to your garage (unlike the later games starting with Forza 5, I believe). The Rally expansion...eh. It was alright, but, imo, didn't feel like the rest of the game (you're racing for time independently on rally tracks). If you like Rally racing, you may like it. Both those DLCs have been on sale at least twice, if not three times, in the past year.

Having said all that, if you like racing games, particularly non-sim, Forza Horizon (either 1 or 2) is likely to give you more replay value than either of the games you noted, even without the DLC.

I see it as $20.09 also. I ended up buying the game itself on PC for $2.49 via Steam (still on sale for that much, just realized I could of paid a dollar more for additional content) to give it a try sometime, not sure if I want to buy it on xbox one yet.

Thanks for the information. I bought Alien and Pip right before you posted this, but I still have the Horizon disc so I'll probably try that out and pass on the DLC for now. Horizon seems like a really cool game, and believe it or not, my 360 still gets more attention than my Xbox One. I'm not even planning to install Alien until I get an external hard drive. And with all the Games With Gold stuff I've gotten lately and a One with a 500 gb hard drive, I only have so much space. And I'm sort of strapped right now after the holidays so much that I'm waiting to get my $5 Bing credit on Wednesday to buy Shovel Knight. So, I'll wait on the Horizon DLC until next time.
 
Wonder if we'll get the new DwG discounts in a few minutes.  They didn't drop until Tuesday morning last week.  Though I suspect some are still in their refractory period from the drops earlier this afternoon and aren't quite ready for new sales yet.

 
Aaaand there's the SR4 bundle I've been waiting for, and at a reasonable price. Awesome.

FYI, the achievement glitches in SR4 have been fixed. For you achievement whores, the game is now (easily) 100%able.

For anyone curious about the Alien Isolation DLC, it's all basically time trial content except for Crew Expendable and Last Survivor, which are both fun but only took me about 15 minutes each to complete. For fans of the movie, it's worth experiencing I guess.

Aw fuck as I bought Alien Isolation Collection for $10. It deducted the $10.70 from the credit in my Microsoft account but the game does not appear in the ready to install window and when I click on the game on the website it is showing I need to buy it.

Already talked to two Xbox support members from India who just keep bouncing me around and now on hold again.  $#%$#%$

 
Do i get the Saints Row bundle or get Sleeping Dogs? I have played a little of Sleeping Dogs on 360 abd thought it was fun as hell. Never playes SR4. Also i just bought GTAV so maybe i should hold off on games like that for now?

Also figures and power discs are universal, play sets and toy box games aren't.

I'm confused. I see a bunch of new sales mentioned earlier, but I go to major nelson's site and I see Lego Marvel as the deal of the day. Then a few posts up I see more sales mentioned.

What is 24 hours and what lasts the entire week?  Based on what was mentioned so far, I want to get Saints Row IV: Gat Out of Hell and Gears of War 2. But if these aren't the daily sales, then it gives me time to get some more Xbox spacebucks.

I'm not a fan of Minecraft, but I do like the Telltale Games.  Should I check out Minecraft: Story Mode?

 
Alien is a great game, long af though. Im still playing it from time to time. Do a few chapters, put it up for a month lol. Play with loud volume and in the dark.

I believe so but you would still need the playset piece thing to play the Star Wars campaign if I'm not mistaken.
