Yeah man, he should end up as a very well adjusted adult with lessons like that. In all honesty with the majority of people seeing things like that really have no impact, but I used to work with severely mentally ill youth and that shit really does affect some people

I have them for my controllers, they work well to save space on a table top for storing them, plus have a small compartment for spare batteries. Won't work with an Elite controller with the paddles on it. The PS3 one, for some random reason, is almost impossible to find. The other ones, X1, X360 and PS4, not an issue.

 
I thought the daily deals were going to continue, apparently they are not and the Dead Island and Outlast deals are the last. Bummer. Weird that the countdown deals continue til 1/7.

I don't mean this personally to you, but this is the first post I've seen where someone expressed regret over a suggested purchase. I don't really understand the whole idea of asking people In a forum that don't really know you or your tastes how you should spend your gaming dollar. It's off the charts here lately with the whole 'is this game worth it, should I buy this game, anyone have an opinion' etc... The worst is 'someone talk me out of buying this game. Annoying AF. Watch a video or stream. Read a review or two. It's not that hard.

The Castle Crashers upgrade promo is still a thing I believe but yeah the grab it for free (when you own it on Xbox 360 and pick it up on Xbox One) was an at launch promo which is obviously over.

Decided to grab the Alien Isolation: The Collection for $10. I'd grab ZAT if I could play online, I've watched a bunch of hilarious entertaining videos of that game a while ago from Sark and company which makes it a fun co-op experience.

Pick up Ori & the Blind Forest now, even with the definitive patch you're not gonna get a better deal. I was gonna wait but even the developers said it's a deal (check their twitter).

And, man all that scrambled porn I watched as a kid turned me into one horny dude... oh wait... I was born that way.

anyone have any thoughts on Outlast?  Got some xbox money to burn and deciding between Outlast, Dying Light, Alien Isolation, and some telltale games.  Not Really familiar with Outlast at all though.

Outlast is a good jump scare kinda horror game. Not an incredible story or anything - just fun.

I like Alien out of the ones you listed, but it's not for everyone. And found Dying Light dull, although that's a minority point of view.

If you want the most action, get Outlast. More RPG styled, survival - get Dying Light. Amazing atmosphere and sense of dread (but admittedly much too long for the average gamer) - get Alien.

Outlast is good, but enemy patterns a bit too predictable. The game has great atmosphere. I really enjoyed it and was scared for most of my playthrough. I only played late at night and got really lucky that there was a thunderstorm every time I played it. Those factors increased the scares for me.

I'm satisfied with the sales. With 170+ games on my Xbox One, I preferred not getting too excited about the sales and instead improve my X1 experience. Got a new controller, a 2m micro USB so I can play wired from my bed if I want to, a Turtle Beach headset, new batteries. And yet, despite my willingness to not buy much, I still got Ori (that was the one thing I promised myself to buy if it goes on sale), Lego Star Wars for 360 (because BC), Foxtales DLC for Never Alone, Alien Isolation + all DLC, Monopoly Fun Pack, Slender (for 4 bucks I could do worse), Saints Row IV + Gat Out Of Hell and Polychromatic. With my massive backlog (and having just got Rise Of The Tomb Raider as a gift) I didn't want to jump into a 30-40 bucks game knowing that it's just gonna sit in my backlog, but there was so much that just hit the right price after all. Many dailies were kinda meh but as far as I'm concerned it was a great sale, because despite not having intentions of spending much (I bought Ori the day it went on sale and I honestly thought I was not gonna buy anything else)... well, I kinda did. Now my backlog calls me, but first... Lara!

Outlast was alright, but just a game to run from enemies and progress the story. Short indie jump-scare game.

Alien Isolation is similar to Outlast but more fleshed out and much much longer. Alien is a much better game than Outlast, but drags on for far too long. I swear I was wishing and thinking I was at the end of that game like 5 times or more.

Dying Light is a great parkour zombie game. The game is really boring starting up, but if you're in co-op and level-up some levels; it turns into a blast. I would say its one of the best zombie playground games to date. Its like Mirrors Edge with zombies. When I initially tried it, I didn't like it, but eventually came back to it and played some co-op. Turned into one of my favorites. I bought it on-sale to play the expansion.

 
My only disappointment with this sale was that they didn't put Battlefront on sale since I missed it the week before.

Well, that and that we didn't get a DLC sale.

Oh, and that they didn't tell us that the DLC was included in MUA1/2.

Okay, I actually have some some complaints.
