I bought Killer Instinct Season 3 Ultra Edition a week ago at full price with Bing credits & Out of pocket... and NOW it finally goes on sale. Arghhhh. I hit up Microsoft via chat and they basically said too bad so sad T&C blah blah.

I've had the same issue before. Sony is MUCH better at not screwing their customers. Got a price match for Alienation when I missed the pre-order because I just forgot about it. More recently, I purchased 7 Days to Die and it ran like shit. Hit up Sony and they refunded the game, no questions asked.

MS needs to fix their shit and also adjust their policies.

Thanks for the information. I just bought a 2 TB external, but wish I would've gone with a smaller SSD. Still torn as I very much enjoyed Just Cause 2, but the apparent memory leaks have me hesitant even though it's a good price for the XL edition.

Except for expiring codes. Sony is a bunch of pros at screwing their customers there!

 
RE 4 lets you use the Chicago Typewriter from the start?? The fuck? The game will be over in 2 hours max.

Never mind, read that wrong. You can bring it into a new playthrough after you unlock it, like normal.

The laziest port yet. All of this stuff was added in the PS2 port. Presumably plus the costumes showing up in cutscenes that was added back in the Wii version. RE6 at least added the RE.net exclusives, and RE5 combined it's separate Mercenaries modes.

Hopefully it at least has more control options than the 360 version, which had no way to put aiming control on the right stick.

Doesn't seem so. Yesterday I tried to use it at xbox.com, the store on my XBox One, the two Android apps and Edge on XBox One. Not going to pay by credit card when I am sitting on lots of discounted credit.

Maybe some day MS will allow it but I am not holding my breath.

Anyone know for sure what you get with the Saints Row Metro Double Pacl?  Do you get Metro Redux (Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux  with 2000 GS) or do you get Metro 2033 Redux with1000 GS and Metro Last Light Redux with 1000 GS. 

I just bought the individual Metro Redux games, but I can get rid of my Metro Redux disc and my Saint Row IV Re-elected/Gat Out of Hell disc with this bundle if in fact it comes with the Metro Redux (one set of achievements for both games)

Well at least It's still one of the GOATS. RE6 was trash outside of the combat which felt good once you got it down, and RE5 seems like a throwaway campaign from what I played and the only reason I enjoyed it is as much because it controlled like RE4 and had co-op.

I beat RE4 on Gamecube and Wii, look forward to beating it again on the X1 when the time comes lol

Had this happen to me. Bought a brand new game off Amazon, and the online pass had expired. Though I did whine to Sony CS and they gave me a refund for the online pass cost. I wouldn't do that more than once or twice though, they will deny you if they think you are abusing it from what i have heard.

My understanding is that the Saints Row Metro Double Pack will give you Metro 2033 Redux and Metro Last Light Redux digital copies. (in addition to the Saints Row stuff of course).

The Metro Redux with 2000 GS is for the physical disc. From what I understand, the physical disc for the game and the digital copies have separate achievement lists and separate saves. From what people have said, saves do not carry over from digital to physical or vice versa, and same with achievements - you'll have to re-earn the achievements, but it also means that, if you care about gamerscore and really like the games, you can earn 2000 GS from playing the games on the disc, and 1000GS each for playing the digital copies, for a total of 4000GS.

This is just knowledge I've gathered from different forums, I haven't played the games yet myself.

All digital versions will be the same Metro Redux for 1000gs/Metro Last Light Redux for 1000gs. The Saints Row/Metro bundle will have different achievements lists and save compatibility than the physical version, just as if you bought the digital Metro Redux bundle.

This sale should have been called the get rid of your physical media sale. Looks like I will get Watch_Dogs CE and Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY and get rid of my non DLC-including games.

I don't own the Saint's Row/Metro bundle, I do own the Metro bundle but can confirm that the digital versions of Metro are the 1000gs games. The 2000gs Metro Redux is physical only.

I bought the SR/Metro bundle and yeah, the Metro games are separate downloads of 2033 Redux and Last Light Redux, each with 1000GS.

 
The Ori devs responded about the upgrade offer. You can't run 2 discounts at once, so when the summer sale ends the $5 upgrade will return.

 
arkham knight was a badassingly fun game to play and the batmobile was a shit ton of fun once you master controlling it

just such a great game I should go back and play it when the summer is over

Great to hear. I was wondering about that as I wanted to finish the original game before upgrading to the Definitive Edition. I just assumed I missed the upgrade offer window. I didn't remember reading about an expiry on the upgrade offer, but I'm glad that's not the case. Thanks for following up with the devs!
