Nice, I heard about Assassins Creed Empire but not about the others. I liked Watch Dogs but it didn't seem as good as it was hyped up to be, and it was pretty short if I remember correctly (excluding hunting for all of the collectibles)

Its really fun, played with a couple people and I least for me it was fun. Would highly recommend it if you enjoy arcade style beat em ups. Its also not a very long game so you can try out all the different characters. Saw that it was BC now makes me want to play it some more.
 
AC is potentially one of the best videogame sagas ever, but it suffers from overexposure. There's about 10 very similar games (only Black Flag could count as mildly different) and it's VERY hard to muscle through all of them, especially if you're a completionist like me, without getting bored. If the series becomes "slower" in releases, becomes bigger and more epic, with more RPG elements and a lot of new elements, I can only be happy. As of today, AC2 is still one of my favourite games ever, and if an episode of the saga manages to make me go "wow" like that one did again, I'll be happy. It's hard to keep up with so many AC games though, don't forget we had 2 entries in 2014 for example. A slowdown is definitely welcome and so is a collection: now that is one remastered I'd buy.

The 5% boost is just 5%, applied to purchases during the promotion period in the 2nd half of December. The MyVIP Star Level 2 line is your 4% rebate for (almost) all purchases during the month of December. I say almost because it looks like games that were part of their exclusives offer (Tomb Raider, Forza 6, Halo 5, Gears of War Ultimate, Rare Replay) aren't part of the regular rebate. Last night, the regular rebate percentages went pending on accounts, and my rebate amount lines up only if the exclusives aren't a part of it. My Payback Boost amount does appear to include the exclusives.

I bought the $10 bundle, played for about 3-4 hours and i am pretty bored so far, nothing more than sneaking and finding ways to open doors but HOPEFULLY it gets more exciting. However, i picked up The Evil Within bundle and think its fun as shit. Scary too.

 
I'm apparently getting a little over $25 back in rewards on the 14th. Id check the math to see if that's right but then I'd just end up realizing how much I apparently spent.

I normally bitch about the weekly deals but it's only fair that I praise the couple of weeks that they actually offer me something I would buy. Picked up Phantom Breaker as it will probably be the only XBLA game they put on sale for the next couple of weeks. Probably will pick up a few indys on the X1 as well. Hopefully PB sells well and someone takes note and realizes that the 360 has a back catalog of 400 or so XBLA games that have not seen a sale in years, and that sales can move digital copies of XBLA games that sell a few units a year.

Also this is slightly off topic, but I sure am glad the occulus rift is prohibitively expensive. Had it been cheaper I may have bought it on a whim like I did that 3 pack of Luma routers.

Yeah this is KINDA why i didn't get it instead. I LOVED SD on the 360 back in the day but never got to beat it. I just wanted something new/different. So i got Alien and The Evil Within. ALL i had before were freakin FPS games and i got SO BORED. So i ended up getting GTAV too, so now i have GTAV, Halo 5, Alien, The Evil Within, Borderlands THC, Fallout 4 and a few others, its nice to have a chnage, i just hope Alien isn't always so boring.

Also the Avatar Editor doesn't work in any of my browsers due to the stupid Silverlight plug-in (it still says Get Silverlight even though it says the same version of SIlverlight is already installed). I haven't booted up that thing on any of my Xboxes lately.

Kind of off-topic but does anyone here have Far Cry 4 on X1 and want to help me knock out the co-op achievements at some point? Only 2 and they shouldn't take long at all but trying to find a public session these days is torture.
 
I'd be cautious with 4chan leaks, very few end up real. They're usually just someone making educated guesses when they only post with zero evidence. Not that much info is actually given in these Assassin's Creed posts. I'd say that Egypt is the only thing I'll count on out of that.

Alien is definitely an acquired taste and very polarizing. You either love it or hate it. If you're looking for an action game, this isn't it. If you like tension, atmosphere and understand that encounters with the Alien are not gonna happen ever 5 minutes or even every hour, then you may dig it.

I personally love the game, which is strange for me to say since I typically like more action oriented games, but others despise it and are bored to tears.

i liked sleeping dogs but i enjoyed "opening doors" more in alien isiolation

I agree, sometimes repetitive is good/fun, other times its boring. I am going to seriously regret my purchase if this game is 20 hours of "pen this door", that is stupid. Everyone said how amazing this game is and i hope they are right, if not, oh well, it was only $10 lol No biggie! Now i just wish i had the extra $10 for freakin Sleeping Dogs, would have LOVED to beat that finally! I only got about half way through before. Should have went with that lol shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit

For the record, I don't think Alien was a bad game. In fact it's probably the best Alien related game since the AvP arcade game from the 90s. I just think it was a great concept for an 8-10 hour game that was stretched way too far. It had no business being a 25-30 hour slog.

Its easily worth $7.50 though.
