Not Xbox related but apparently MS is suing the US Department of Justice because the DoJ is currently preventing MS from notifying people when the Government reads their emails and MS feels it's their right to know.

For some reason I always pictured MS being in bed with big brother, especially with the opportunities the Kinect brings

lol, how silly. All that would do is notify criminals when they were being watched and incense the masses each time someone gets a notice their cat pictures were screened.

There's no need to notify people every time they get snooped on, since the name of the game is snooping and we all know post-Snowden that all our digital fingerprints get screened.

I got my W10, alan wake codes from the QB pre-order, yesterday. I pre-ordered from MS store (stupidly - I could've easily preordered it on xbox.com; what's the benefit of one over the other, btw?) and that too on the 4th evening. Anyways, MS came through...

Only if the email address you use at www.microsoftstore.com is the same email address that you use on rewards.xbox.com. Otherwise it would just be a coupon code for $10 off your next purchase at www.microsoftstore.com.

 
I'm so tempted to get GTAV digitally for $30... I didn't even like the damn game when I bought it. This is what CAG does to you. Even if you don't want to play the game, you see a deal and think "Maybe I need that"...

I got the disk version for free two BF's ago from www.microsoftstore.com and I was able to trade it in for ~$35 yesterday so that made my decision easy. :) I go digital any time I can when the digital game is less than the cost of a trade-in. I've done that with SR4/GOOH and the Redux twins, and now GTAV. Will I play any of them? You know the answer to that...

 
Being broke makes things even more simpler. Just glad I haven't really found anything I wanted lately.

I played marbles with dirt where you had to make a hole in the ground.Get the marble in the hole then hit another persons marble and take and keep that marble.

is it fun? When I watch videos it just looks generic to me

I've gotten to the point where I don't even get gun games anymore unless they are in some way unique

 
I would imagine playing The Division solo isn't very fun. Playing with a group is very enjoyable though, and there definitely a benefit to working as a team. It's also a loot based game so if you aren't okay with going through menus to sort through gear it's probably not for you

I tried playing Borderlands for the first time since it first came out...it hasn't aged well. Borderlands 2 and TPS have made it very hard to go back to the first one.

Gonna jump into Quantum Break tonight myself.
 
I bought the division and the season pass. Now the only reason I don't trade it in is because I bought the season pass. >.<

His alternate choice was Borderlands; I think he's ok w/ sorting through loot mountain.

Man this GTA sale is killing me. I'd like to pick it up, but I don't think my friends play it much anymore and I'm pretty distracted by Dark Souls and Smite these days. Sigh, I'll probably pass on it and then kick myself for the next 6 months...

I loved that game. Loved even more that it didn't take me over 20 hours to complete

 
I wish 360 had an option to mass upload ALL saves on a storage device to the cloud at once. Having to boot up my console once in a while and then individually finding each game I want to transfer over is just a pain.

Anyways, my DLC from GOTY of Saints Row isn't showing up under Ready to Install. Hopefully I can access it from the in game menu.

Edit: Whoops, forgot that was an install disc. Don't feel like fiddling with that at the moment. I assume it works.

Big fan of GTA 5 myself, especially GTA online. I know it's not for everyone but it's fun just to mess around in with my friends. I've got most the high end stuff like the yacht. Never bought those stupid micro-transaction cards either.

Also turns out minecraft got some new achievements recently. I'll probably go get those with my buddies soon. I pretty sure I have a world with everything I need in it to get the new achievements.

Was also wondering if it would include the DLC.. I looked under manage game but nothing shows up. Maybe once it's fully installed.

 
I'm looking forward to the 3rd when console Overwatch beta hits. I did get in (I think everyone got in for the weekend) and it's damn fun. I'm a little uneasy how it'll control for some of the characters that use the skills more frequently.
 
Well I am liking Dark Souls 3 for sure but being a Bloodborne vet only it has been an adjustment.  The world definitely seems bigger and there is a lot more to manage.  I miss trick weapons and quick-stepping a lot though.  I am also really surprised how much From just reused from Bloodborne.  I guess that is fine since they all kind of belong in the same pot but I was having deja vu with a lot of stuff tonight.  I played the PS4 version since I am used to that controller for these games and it also seemed like there are definite performance issues also.  The beginning section (outdoors) really felt choppy at times. It is fun though and I will buy it soon.  I may just return The Division to GS and get this instead.

There is a weapon that has quick stepping, but I'm not sure which one it is. I think the starting dagger does and probably other daggers.

Rented DS3 from Redbox for the 2nd night. Feels like a good mix of DS1 and DS2 (never played BB). Bosses have been kind of meh so far though like DS2.
 
That new mission Falcon on the Division is crazy even on hard. Had to put it off for another day. On another note finally got up to 172K DPS on my Vector.
