This is right in line with what I thought. "So indie it hurts" is a good description. Art style was cool even though there isn't much to see. Overall, it seemed like a flawed, but interesting enough effort from a developer that will move on to better things.

 
Is this the cheapest P90X has been?

Edit: looks like according to storeparser it is the lowest it has been, however they don't show it as being on sale before and I could swear it was.  $40 is still quite steep since you can get complete P90X workouts for only a few bucks more on eBay and Craigslist, however it seems to have nice reviews and with the Kinect intergration, I may still bite.

Gone Home is really more of an experience and less of a game. I enjoyed it, but it's so short and lacking in content that it's hard for me to recommend at this price. I beat it in around 3 hours and have had no desire to ever go back.

I did a lot of googling to see if dlc and the better character packs were worth it and didn't find much info so I bought all level dlc for both games and the better character packs

unleashed 2 dlc is only a dollar for the level dlc and a dollar for the character pack so definitely get those if you buy game #2

What a letdown, Xbox One 2nd generation and PS4K. I will want to upgrade to these consoles. I'm not confident developers won't move most resources to the upgraded consoles. This generation has proven that Graphics > Frame rate is where the industry is. They will never demo the first generation console graphics after these consoles release.

I imagine development will go the way of PC, 2nd gen and up, full graphical settings (again it's up to devs Graphics or Frame rate). The regular models will have sub 30 fps and turn down as many graphical effects as needed to get them working. If you haven't seen Dragon Age Inquisition on the PC, the characters look so awful with plastic hair on low settings, medium to high settings are night and day.

This isn't mad post but to clarify: I know the games will play the same, not a fanboy argument, any kind of argument, cell phones get upgraded, people are not too rich or too poor, nobody is forcing you to upgrade... well you get the point.

Edit: I did pickup D4 it's a steal at $5, there are also 18 free costume packs for it too!

There some super grindy achievements for the DLC packs. You need 40,000 kills (10,000 for each class) and you need to reach level 150 for a full completion. Insane timesink.
 
I think everyone is jumping the gun on this Xbox One Point Five stuff, the only real upgrade I've seen specifically mentioned was for the wireless component, presumably because of the wide-spread sync issue controllers have. PS4k had full blown specs put out there.

I still think this is just going to be a "Slim" model, which makes sense based on the 360 getting one around this time. Minor updates and manufacturing changes that don't really mean anything to previous owners.

PS4k is only happening because of two realistic reasons. I think it's partially to try and get something out there so Sony can push 4K resolution products like TVs from their other divisions, with the main reason being PSVR. Microsoft doesn't have a VR alternative that we know of, and I don't see them doing anything overwhelmingly out of the box since they're still recovering from Kinect 2.0 and the Xbone bomb.

As far as development focusing on more powerful hardware, I don't see it outside of first party games and lazy devs unless PS4k sells ridiculously well. There are simply more sales to make if your game isn't trash on the hardware that's got the bigger install base, which is why we were still seeing so many 360/PS3 ports until the last year.

Side note

Quantum Break is good, and I don't regret my purchase. But there's something about it that keeps it from being "great". It's a solid 4/5 but it should've been a 5/5.

I just bought a pair from goodwill a few weeks ago. I shredded throughout their store and marred up their nicely waxed floors, but have yet to shred at home since we live on top of a giant hill.

Couple questions if someone has time/knowledge on them...

1) Currently don't have Gold, but got a 1 month trial card with some old Xbox 360 game (want to say it was Tomb Raider). Anyone know if that will give me access to sale prices? I know the 48 hour/14 day trials don't let you access sales, but maybe the 1 month might?

2) Is this the Gold Edition of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 that comes with the previously de-listed DLC? Already have the game physical, but would be interested in picking this up if someone can confirm if the DLC is included.

3) Has the Sunset Overdrive Season Pass been on sale cheaper than this before? And is it likely that it will be this price again for Silver members?

It would be nice to not have a bunch of MP DLC I have no interest be the only option for getting the game on Xbox Live. If they were to un-delist the base game for GWG, that would be the ideal situation.

 
The MP for Ryse is actually pretty good, it's nothing really competitive. Just a bunch of arena fights against the AI that escalate in difficulty the further you go. But you can rank up your character and pick a god to fight for which gives you more powerful attacks and abilities. It's not bad.

I didn't say it was bad. I have no interest in it, so I'd prefer to just get the base version of the game and avoid paying more money for things I don't want.

 
So far I've grabbed Nero, Lifeless Planet, The Flame in The Flood. Was contemplating Amazing Spider Man 2, but apparently I've already beaten the game.

I honestly think the $0.00 price to buy for Battlefield Hardline Premium was a mistake. EA Access Vault games don't normally offer an option to buy a game or add-ons for free, only install via the EA Access app.
