I just want photo realistic looking games. Each new generation I keep hoping for it, only be disappointed with graphics that are slightly better than the previous generation.

A lot wrong with your bottom line, first of all the Xbox One had a successful launch, in fact it actually outsold the PS4 on NPDs November and December of 2013.. it sold 4 million consoles in that period which is why to this date it is still ahead of the 360 in lifetime sales launch aligned. For comparison the 360 sold under 1 million consoles it's first year on the market, so not exactly a high bar to beat.

You also say that the Xbox One is ahead of the 360 by a pretty significant margin which is also false, launch aligned the 360 is outselling the Xbox One on a monthly basis and if sales continue on the path they currently are, the 360 will overtake the Xbox One launch aligned by the end of the year.

Lastly you are using the PS3 as an example that the Xbox One can somehow come from behind, however even with the PS3 bad PR launch and high price, it consistently outsold the 360 world wide the entire time it was on the market.. and there lies the problem with the Xbox, it doesn't have worldwide appeal and for this reason alone will never catch the PlayStation.. Microsoft needs to stomp the PlayStation in the States and UK to even keep up, which to this point it is being outsold even in those territories.

A lot of people also forget that the 360 was very hard to come by for its first 8 months on the market.

With that said I'm surprised how many people see the X1 as a success(mostly on the reddit X1 forums and pretty much no where else). While the hardware has sold well, MS has clearly lost a massive amount of marketshare and seem to be doing next to nothing about it. At this point and time PS4 has hundreds more games(this includes indys) to the point that many genres of games are skipping the X1 all together. Almost every single 360 owner I know now owns a PS4, it is just depressing. You would think that the competition beating them down would kick MS into gear, but they seem to just be sitting back while they lose more marketshare. I don't buy Sony products, due to a personal boycott from stuff the company has done in the past, but I honestly cant think of any reasons other than the dozen or so exclusives to own an X1.

Whoever made your graphic must be excluding games because other than the launch month which they were tied the Xbox has never lead in it's library, here is a more up to date graphic (still not current), it excludes games available on both systems:

Should've kept the 360 design, put the x1's dpad on there, added the trigger rumble, and made it with a built in rechargeable battery. Boom, perfect controller.

Agreed. I play them both about even and every time I pick up the 360 controller, a little voice in my head says 'perrrfect.' Although plus1zero is right on the minor changes that would make a perfect controller.

The only thing the 360 controller has on the XB1 is the sticks, everything else is superior.  Even the bumpers(revised model).

 
X1's controller is too angular. The 360 controller is rounder on the bottom. More comfortable to hold. My hands hurt after long sessions of games like Far Cry 4 and Fallout 4. Maybe it's just me, but I never experience that when playing the 360.
 
I agree, 360 controller is superior in every way except the dpad.. I wouldn't even put in the rumble triggers because they are annoying.

 
SSX was a purchase far too late in the 360 life cycle for me, as I'm pretty sure I was already moved on to the Xbone, and I never looked back to the 360. This is one of my most anticipated BC games though, as I was having fun with it when I did play. Just didn't have time to invest in it and other things way back when.
 
Why sony convo bordering console war in a xb thread? My take; biggest problem and a big reason why my sony consoles get no use even once in a while, would be sony's controllers having internal batteries, and having to hook them up usb while playing if it's low battery. If I need to test a game disc for resale, I need to hook up the usb. Might as well be a wired controller console. Free games only free while subbed. I have never owned a ps plus sub in my life, but If I had, and got some of those free games, I wouldn't be able to play them now. No bac compat, just remastered releases or ports, and that pay to stream service. Yes, sometimes they deeply discount some titles for ps plus, but how often do psn cards, credit or subs ever get deeply discounted. I can't remember ever seeing psn cards lower than 10 bucks off 100, or 40 for a 1yr sub, although I'm sure they have been lower maybe once in a blue moon which comes as often as a black friday. I went all digital at one point, so I am 5 star vip with 10% discount for the past 2 years. I will only buy ms cards when they are at minimum 20% off, but usually always get them at 30% off with little effort, and way cheaper with some effort involved. So, no matter what everything is 40% + off all the time, any time.

I will only buy ms cards when they are at minimum 20% off, but usually always get them at 30% off with little effort, and way cheaper with some effort involved. So, no matter what everything is 40% + off all the time, any time.

You will never convince me sony is the better choice. I own one cause I got it used cheap to boot test games for resale, but never used it for more than 10 hours for personal gaming. This xbl deal thread, sony convo doesn't bother me, but sony convo belittling xbox should have no place in a xbox thread. I don't care if it's fact. and I don't care if it's number facts. If it's just for the sake of being right or even if it's just conversation, It insults me.There's another thread where you can be all the sony fan boy you can be for that. BTW i want to put a sig or something when I have time. I wanna put; I felt pride when phil spencer announced back compat. I suddenly saw a beautiful vision of him spit on a sony playstation logo when he said; here at xbox we dont make you pay for games you already own. and maybe; XBOX 4 LIFE. Too much? So what. Waiting for e3, want good news. Preferably for news that give me more visions of spitting on sony. Don't care about ps 4.5, xb2, won't spend a dime just so my game is a pinch of salt more sharper and runs a million frames faster.

Why sony convo bordering console war in a xb thread? My take; biggest problem and a big reason why my sony consoles get no use even once in a while, would be sony's controllers having internal batteries, and having to hook them up usb while playing if it's low battery. If I need to test a game disc for resale, I need to hook up the usb. Might as well be a wired controller console. 
I have two DS4s (I had 3 for a while).  I have $25 charging tree thing my nephew gave me.  Both are always fully charged unless I am playing.  Worst case I have to swap out controllers if I play for 4 or 5 hours.  

I had to spend about the same on two Nyko rechargable battery packs for my XBox One (I only have one controller so far).

I have rechargeable AA batteries. I bought the AmazonBasics AA High-Capacity Rechargeable Batteries and they are great. I have a really cheap chinese battery charger from amazon, but the basics last so long compared to even traditional batteries.

AmazonBasics are rebranded Eneloops, so yeah they should be fantastic, because they are.. and if you aren't using Eneloops in your Xbox controllers, you're doing it wrong.

You also say that the Xbox One is ahead of the 360 by a pretty significant margin which is also false, launch aligned the 360 is outselling the Xbox One on a monthly basis and if sales continue on the path they currently are, the 360 will overtake the Xbox One launch aligned by the end of the year.

Lastly you are using the PS3 as an example that the Xbox One can somehow come from behind, however even with the PS3 bad PR launch and high price, it consistently outsold the 360 world wide the entire time it was on the market.. and there lies the problem with the Xbox, it doesn't have worldwide appeal and for this reason alone will never catch the PlayStation.. Microsoft needs to stomp the PlayStation in the States and UK to even keep up, which to this point it is being outsold even in those territories.

When did I say anything about numbers regarding the XBox One launch? I said it had a bad launch and it absolutely did. I wasn't referring to its sales numbers. It was a PR nightmare and caused such an issue that they wound up replacing Don Mattick with Phil Spencer. I figured it was pretty much common sense what I meant when I reffered to the Xbox One's launch as bad. It was a disaster of epic proportions, one that Phil Spencer openly admits too.

The main issues were as follows:

1 - The Xbox One would require a persistent internet connection

2 - The Xbox One wouldn't play used games — you'd put in a disc, install it to the console's hard drive, take out the disc and it would effectively be useless.
3 - Every Xbox One would come with a Kinect motion sensor.
4 - The Xbox One cost $500 at launch, $100 more than the PlayStation 4.

Anyone who calls the Xbox One launch a successful launch is clearly out of thier head. It was dogged so bad in the press the first 6 months that it was hard to go to a gaming website without seeing some sort of article regarding the matter. And again, everyone at Xbox, including Phil Spencer, openly admits just how terrible the launch/reveal was for the Xbox One. So there is nothing wrong at all with my bottom line.

Nelson is a pretty cool dude. He hangs out and posts on the xboxone subreddit at times, seems like a standup guy. When people post about problems they've had with customer service he's stepped in and gotten results.
