Shit, just grabbed a like-new Catherine off eBay for $13, I kept putting it off forever and it's still $20 at Gamestop. My Christmas break backlog is already out of control though.

Bully was pretty good when I played it on PS2, heard the 360 version is decent now that it received some patches. It was pretty buggy at launch.

 
Hmm, they added a Japan-exclusive game today too, Clannad. It's region locked on 360, I wonder if it would be region-free on Xbone. Not that it matters much anyways, being a visual novel with Japanese as the only language option.

I played Bully in late 2013 and had no issues of note.

A FYI for those who picked up Dishonored 2 on the cheap over BF and might be thinking of trading it in.  On Monday (Dec 19th) there will be a free update that adds New Game+ AND allows you to play the game with all the powers at your disposal.  So you will be able to combine Emily's and Corvo's power sets together.  Should make for some fun new ways to kill.  Also, next month they are adding mission select an the ability to add new modifiers to the game rules.

I imagine it would be, but am not certain. When Gears 2 went BC, I picked up a disc copy of the Japanese version (different achievement list) and it worked on my XB1. This works with other region stackable achievement games (e.g., Borderlands, BioShock), but I've been waiting for one of my region free Japanese exclusive shooters like Mushihimesama Futari to go BC to confirm those work, too.

Since XB1 is region free, you will be able to play Clannad on it via BC. Get the disc (no need to import, Amazon has some from third party sellers.) Pop in the disc when you get it, and it will download.

Only thing is... yeah, you will need to know how to read Japanese...

Would make sense since It's the holidays I guess.

I own Bully and Catherine digitally, so big win for me.

Even bigger win considering Bully wanted me to buy it on the 360 and they never fixed that issue. They ended up doing a new Games on Demand version and I couldn't even re-download it in my purchase history.

But on the X1? Right there for me to install.

Unpopular opinion: I thought the CoD:IW single player campaign was better than Titanfall 2's campaign. And I loved TF2.

Great main characters (Reyes, Salt, and Ethan), excellent missions, fun aerial combat side missions, some good 'feels' and evil Jon Snow.

Thanks for reminding me. I meant to check before and totally forgot. Download at least is only 44.6GB on PS4. Don't really have much space left on my XBox and have a couple friends who play it over on PS4.

This is my main interest. I heard the single player is better then TF2 which I loved too. Figured I could knock out the first two chapters and maybe Redbox it later to finish or borrow it from a friend. Sucks that unlike XBox digital or physical aren't the same install. Really little interest in the MP.

Picked up FH3 yesterday, have TF2 and Gears 4, Borderands 2, GTA V, All the Halos. No time for COD which I lost interest in over the last few years anyway.

That $5 off at the MS store through bing rewards isn't working anymore. Or rather, it's working as probably intended now. It takes 4,650 points instead of 500. I was just about to redeem another $5 gift card too.

4600 is the normal price, but the 500 point thing was a limited promo. It wasn't the points number that was a problem, it just wasn't supposed to work on gift cards. They wanted us to use it on controllers or physical games, not free xbox money.

 
MS is fucking killing it right now. Between all the nice shit they did for us yesterday and them reviving the previously ended BC program with both Bully and Catherine it almost feels like they actually want to take care of their customers

I ordered 6 $10 off codes but yet to receive them by email. I wonder if they will still work on GC? I know I ordered 3 $5 off codes and got them a few mins after the order.

I thought maybe one was the Xbox one and the other was the windows 10 and they both showed up for some reason but I installed the second one to see if it was different and the original white icon one didn't work at all. I don't know if it didn't work because I installed the second one or if they replaced it.

I thought we were talking about Gears of War 4: Ultimate Edition.

Yeah, Microsoft has been pushing Gears1:UE at low cost all of 2016, it seems. Guess my brain didn't comprehend why it was even worth mentioning. My error.

 
So I am thinking about buying a Xbox One S an giving my Dad my old one.  If I leave my old X1 as my home console he should be able to play all my digital games and not need Gold to play online right? I should have complete access also in my new console since I will be signed in online with my profile?  I guess the only issue would arise if I lost internet then I would not be able to play my digital games? Thanks!

ps4 one is based on ps3 version which sucked. X1 will likely be based on the 360 version. I hope it's not added to BC unless the re release and BC versions will share the same player pool otherwise I'd prefer everyone on the new version.

Microsoft has consistently done an end of the year sale that usually takes place a few days before Christmas to slightly after New Year's.

I'm betting that Larry Hyrb (Major Nelson) will send out a preview tweet tomorrow or so to hype it - announcing the date the sale will actually begin, in the process.

I had 600 points, but was waiting to redeem until the $35 I ordered last night cleared. Got the e-mail for the $5 one, the 3 $10 ones are approved but no e-mails yet. At least there's still the Windows Store $5 gift card for 3,500, which runs until Jan 6. Definitely not as good as 500, but better than the 4,650. With the double point weekends this month, I might be able to get 2 at the 3,500 price before it ends.

Hold up, hold up, hold up...the one day all month that I miss checking this thread (yesterday) there happens to be a hell of a deal with that 500 point Bing promo?!  I have 13k Bing points. I would've been Scrooge McDuck swimming in virtual Xbox money.

Right now, Darth Vader is screaming 'Nooooooooooo' in my head but nonstop.  He's not stopping for air or anything.  He's been yelling no for about 3 full minutes because I missed that last night.
