I haven't played it, but I know Three Fourths Home is like an hour and a half long visual story. I don't know if the story is actually good, but if you're looking with games with gameplay that one is going to be disappointing.

It's not that great. I mean for $3 and 2 hours spent I don't regret the experience, but you can do a lot better for this kind of thing.

Also note that while I was able to grab an easy 1000, at some point a bad patch apparently broke some or all of the achievements. Hunters beware.

Got excited about Contrast and bought it blindly, I could have sworn that was BC. No, it was remastered. fuck me. I wish they had a Steam-like refund policy. Oh well, my bad for not doing research. I'll make sure I play it ASAP to justify my purchase before the remaster inevitably goes GWG.

Got Mars: War Logs too. I've heard great things. Mass Effect-like things.

I did get that $10 game bundle too. I've been on the fence about getting Letter Quest for awhile now. Two bonus (though probably terrible) bonus games sweetens the deal.

Yeah. Terms like alpha and beta lost all meaning years ago. A game like Titanfall 2 is not going to be in an actual fucking alpha state 2 months before release.

I'm sure they'll tweak some things, but essentially, the game you're gonna play this weekend is what you'll be playing on release.

As it is, I was pretty disappointed and actually cancelled my pre-order, which I don't think I've ever done before. I'd literally rather just reinstall TF1.

Faery is a pretty fun old school turn-based RPG. I liked it and played all the way through it. I want to say it was like 8-10 hours or so. Unfortunately it sets up a sequel that will probably not ever be made.

Mars: War Logs is ok...a bit too random and unbalanced for my tastes. Lots of saving and reloading fights until you don't get destroyed.

 
Another disappointing week. Already have Faery, Skate 3. Mars, RAW and SSX. Don't see the point in buying Contrast when there's an Xbone version/it's not BC/I already have it on Steam, and the rest are too pricey or too farm-related. Hopefully none of you buying Elite Dangerous this week got suckered into buying Arena separately.

If any of you are tempted by Unravel, I'd suggest just buying the CE at Best Buy.

Was really hoping for a sale on the Battlefront Season Pass, as I played some of the Bespin content during the free trial over the weekend after being away from the game for a couple of months and want to just dive into the DLC Hutt Contracts. They've also patched in some nice Quality of Life improvements since I last played and the game is all the better for it.

What sucks is that PS4 got a 50% off sale on the pass only a few weeks ago which at this point I'd be okay with paying, and we've still yet to get any sort of sale whatsoever. Thanks EA. :wall:

They've patched some of the issues as of early July, most notably fixing the requirements for the achievement "Chameleon" that was preventing people from 1king it. It's still incredibly buggy though, and I don't think that's specific to Xbone either, though the PS4 version is supposedly getting better patch support.

Word of advice, since a lot of the games on sale on Xbone these days started off on Steam, I'd recommend checking the Steam reviews for these titles since there are many, many more available than on the Xbone store.

Also, Jumpjet Rex is great and I would say grab it at 50% off. Letter Quest is also good, but the other two in the bundle aren't as good, and all 3 have been

Why won't it let me use my xbox live credit on it? Wants me to add a credit card buying guide it online. I don't have a 360 anymore.
 
I just realized I have all the DLC for Battlefield 4 so grabbed it. I wonder what EA's plan is with these free DLCs and dirt cheap games alongside EA Access.

That's my go to when there isn't the information I'm looking for. Especially if it's in regards to if features ever got delivered or bugs fixed or whatever. That stuff doesn't always translate to console but you can at least see how it's reviewed recently which helps.

I assume it's because Hardline was kinda dead-on-arrival and I can't imagine a lot of people bought the Season Pass for it. 4 is kinda old at this point. They're most likely banking on sales for Battlefield 1 and its Season Pass now.

To be fair, despite the lack of the season pass sales for Battlefront, EA has seen fit to give 2 free trials to each of the DLCs so far when they'd been out maybe a month or so. 1 for a weekend and another for a full week. The only problem is you don't get access to the Hutt Contracts during these trials, meaning you can neither make progress on them or keep the weapons/star cards. Otherwise I'd have little reason to want the Season Pass outside of maybe using the heroes/villains whenever.

EA is really smart. Released Titanfall 2 Alpha which is really bad and then put the first one on sale, so people go on the highly superior game

Now I'm stuck having to buy something on the Microsoft store rather than just getting a $5 credit that I can use on my Live account. Has anyone been successful at using this Bing reward to buy Xbox Live codes on the Microsoft store? I really should have read it carefully before redeeming.

Pretty sure you can use that $5 to buy digital currency in any amount through the MS store to be used on XBL.

Seems like a 2-step process. Buy a game on Amazon. Then go this Square page, and pick out one of these games:

Lol was just gonna say, if you have been getting the GWG every month I think you have all the choices.
 
Seriously, they couldn't even offer one freebie that hasn't already been GwG?

That's just as bad as EA Access offering Xbox 360 BC games that we've already gotten from GwG.

Edit - Never mind...it looks like Kane & Lynch 2 hasn't been GwG before.
