Hey, I loved FC3 more than FC4! Did you know that you can reset outposts after beating the game?
 
I didn't care for FC3. I remember it starting ok, but after being turned loose past the first tower, I was a magnet for Komodo dragons. At one point I was too scared to come down off of some rocks because Komodo dragons kept trying to eat me from the bushes. Everywhere I went, freakin' Komodo dragons in the bushes and tall grass... hissing and gurgling.

What does everyone think of the price of fallout 4 w season pass for 55? I was planning on waiting till the goty or complete edition and getting it cheaper however how fast do you think that will happen? I know it's been this price before not sure if it will see a lower price before next year or not.

I think it's gonna be a great value

when it hits 20 or under with all the dlc eventually like every other game I buy

 
The DLC for Fallout 4 is severely lacking.  If you were used to the beefy content of Fallout 3 DLC and Skyrim DLC, prepare to be disappointed.  I would advise waiting for GotY edition and waiting for it to go on sale.  Three of those "DLCs" are basically just lame mods.

I am never buying a season pass for any Bethesda game ever.  That was my first and last time.

 
Not even the main game is "beefy". I bought the pass but traded in the game before even starting one kd those, I'll get to them when I find the disc for cheap
 
Wait for goty. I bought the season for 30 and i thought the dlcs were average at best. Nuka Cola world is the biggest in scale and felt like the Nevada desert from NV when you first arrive there and far harbor isnt very spectacular as everything on the island is foggy and dark which kinda kills the fun factor when you can't see the whole island for what it is.

Bethesdas or Obisidians ideas for dlc in the previous fallout games were much better cause they didn't allow fast travel to an from the dlc back to the base game which made you think more on what you wanna bring with you and then locked you out of the base game until the dlc was finished and it felt refreshing to return back to the base game when your adventure in the dlc was over. F4 dlcs had no thrill of being exiled or separated from the base game and it made the experience overall less exciting to know you had the ability to go anywhere you wanted and take anything an everything you want with you to an from the dlc.

They didn't even add more bobbleheads to collect or a even more powerful power armor to the game. In F3 you had to collect a bunch a stuff to get the t51b power armor deep in a military base which felt very satisfying to get and it was the best in the game for awhile. I don't understand why there aren't centaurs in the game when theres super mutants and even a ancient super mutant behemoth in the game which suggests it was one of the first super mutants to be created in fallout lore and centaurs were also one of the first byproducts of FEV testings but they didn't include any which irks me alittle.

A alien dlc would've been nice or even a dlc to let us travel to a small portion of the captial wasteland would've been much better than nuka world. I'm sorry I made this longer than I should have lol I felt just felt these dlcs were very lackluster compared to fallouts previous dlcs and even skyrims dlcs. The base game of F4 is great though.

speaking of Forza Horizon, why didn't they include the PT Cruiser as a drivable car? I see and ram into them all the time, would have been nice to drive my car in a game.

 
You guys are awesome. I could probably get an additional 3-4 months of Gold just from scouring my backlog. I didn't use Xbox Live until October 2014 so I might have a few of these games in my collection already with unused one month codes.

Wow well I feel subjectivity is an issue when it comes to the value of the Season Pass as a lot of your cons I see as pros. They didn't show a lot of the island? Well I liked the atmosphere you get from Far Harbor, largely in part due to the fog and lighting used. They let you fast travel back and forth from the DLC to the base game - as I like to have a dynamic play experience and not have to feel like I'm going down a linear quest path. Oh man, that's just a shame as they've learned from their mistakes from the past (restricting you from one or the other). And thanks for not using Spoiler tags on that monster spoiler you just mentioned. fuck

Ayone recommend Dirt Rally? I'm a big rally fan but I watched this game come about on PC as an early acess game hearing that there's not much to it. Have they added to the game previously for the console edition or are we just getting a packaged that-PC-version here?

Yes you actually can, but only after you complete the story missions and after all the outposts are liberated. The "reset outpost" option can only actually be selected after that.

Double checked on the website and I definitely bought it. I'll check my xbox again and make sure it's not on there. How do you unhide something on the Xbox One?

 
I think you'd have to unhide everything. But an easier way would be to search for it in the Store and see if you have "install" instead of "purchase"

Checking the store on the console works, too.

If you want to see if you have it hidden, go to Games & Apps > Ready to Install, then press LB + RB + X all at the same time. That will unhide everything. (To re-hide everything that you've marked as hidden, try using the same combo (not 100% positive) -- if it doesn't work, I know that turning off and then turning your console back on will re-hide all the things you have hidden.)

Same. I played a few hour long sessions, but ultimately could not get into it like I thought I would. I felt like you spent too much time searching for things to keep your stamina and health up, but they're instantly gone because everything requires stamina. My play through was on Survivor difficulty so that could've affected things, but it wasn't worth restarting imo.

I'm no survival game fanatic, but I do enjoy them from time to time. My assessment of I Am Alive is that it's simply TOO survival-ish for me.
