I stupidly did shipping too but went to BB at midnight and plan to just return my preordered copy with tonight's receipt. With the stellar reviews on it, I couldn't wait to try the single player in particular.

Unless you didn't redeem your codes, you'd give him a vanilla copy. TTK package includes vanilla disc (not sure how much updated) + TTK code, The Collection includes vanilla disc (updated until right before RoI) + TTK code + ROI code (+ Iron Gjallahorn code, but not the Gjallarwing).

If you want him to be 100% ready, you should tell him to download the demo. It's capped at level 7 iirc but it's updated as the main game, so after that he'd just need to get a disc and the two DLC codes (TTK includes the first two expansions) and he's ready

 
Man that new Monster Jam game is $20... but it looks like a crappy version of trials with a freestyle mode. I'm glad it's not $40 or more, but I'll wait until it's under $10.

Oh nah I never redeemed the TTK code. I installed the vanilla copy but like a true CAG I decided to leave it in my backlog for like a year.
 
All these new releases and this backlog guy here just mounted up in a COD mission with the Brotherhood of Steel in Fallout 4. Transmission over.

 
Here is a rundown of the current Halloween events that I have access to (Destiny, Gears 4, Overwatch, GTA V), I've got to say Overwatch blows the other ones out of the water. Play that one if you want something other than horror games to get in the mood. 
 
Overwatch - Halloween themed skins, sprays, voice lines, emblems; that can also be unlocked with the in-game currency. A temporary new mode that is basically tower defense with a very strong Halloween flavor. Some of the normal maps have been given a spooky makeover.
 
Destiny - New questline that gives you a few cosmetic masks (almost all from last year), a couple shaders, an emblem, and a broom Sparrow everyone gets for the two weeks. The MAJORITY of new "content" is locked behind microtransactions, of which you can earn 1 free per character through the quest. All outdoors Crucible maps are set at night. No actual gameplay changes.
 
Gears 4 - Special Dodgeball playlist with 1 second respawn time, everyone has pumpkin heads. The gamemode is fun but not mindblowing. "Halloween" Operations pack that has a chance of coming with the already in-game Day of the Dead skins, for $5 each, not earn-able.
 
GTA V - A motorcycle with a skull. A triple XP race playlist. Discounts on other stuff to tie into the 3 year anniversary.
 
Warframe and Smite are also doing stuff, haven't tried these though.

Not necessarily Halloween related, but anyone who logs in to GTA Online this weekend (until the end of Monday, Oct 31) will receive a free bonus of $250,000 in-game currency, to be deposited in early November. Easy money for not doing much.

 
Played Skyrim SE for about an hour or two...

Things:

- The colors are way brighter now. The green on all the plants/trees really pop in the outdoor environments.

- The lighting is awesome. Same with the clouds/smoke. They all behave naturally.

- Some textures still look like a pile of butts, but for the most part everything is sharpened up nicely.

- The screen seems to be on overscan or whatever the fuck its called. The thing where stuff gets cut off at the edges of the screen. (I have a 55" and the only other game to do this was Hyper Light Drifter.)

- The achievements pop in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Don't think I've seen that since 360. Any other XB1 games do that?

I logged in when it went live last night, ended up getting to level 15 in MP. I like the feeling of progression in comparison to Battlefield 1. It may just be me but ranking up in BF1 seems much slower than the beta. I love both games, they definitely feel quite different. This fall has been an excellent time to be a gamer, without a doubt. Xcom 2, Forza Horizon 3, TF2, BF1, the list goes on and on. I never thought I'd be looking to replace my 5TB external with a bigger one. First world problems, eh?

What is their obsession with odd point achievements. Always bugs me, but looking the list up on TA, it seems to be another easy completion at least. Probably just as crappy a game as the one on sale is as well.

I wouldn't depend on depends. Even their max absorbency can only hold two heavy wettings or so before they start leaking. You want an all day gaming session with no interruptions, try Dry 24/7. I hear Molicare or Abena are also good brands, but don't have any experience with those.

Can someone enlighten me on how to gameshare EA Access? I know I've done it in the past. EA Access games show up on my brother's Xbox only if I'm using my profile. I don't want him to use my profile, I want him to use his. Battlefield 4 and Hardline let him install from the store for free with his profile if he searches it up, but Titanfall and PvZ2 tell him he needs to sign up for EA Access unless he's actually logged in as me.

 
My copy of Titanfall 2 didn't arrive on time, so I called to politely complain that someone high up needs to be fixing the common problem of people's stuff not arriving on day one, and they are now sending me a free $10 GC. I mentioned that I don't have this same consistent issue with other online retailers like Amazon.

It's the second one I've gotten this year. I got one before when my copies of Captain America: Civil War, Transformers, and NBA 2K17 were all late within the same week.

Getting stuff late is annoying, but the free $20 I've gotten so far eases the sting a bit. Anyone else getting their stuff late, definitely call and you might get something out of it. I've never asked for anything, they've just offered it.

It's the second one I've gotten this year. I got one before when my copies of Captain America: Civil War, Transformers, and NBA 2K17 were all late within the same week.

used to do this with amazon for years whenever a problem came up but they are getting stingier and stingier and prime is getting worse and worse so I don't even contact them anymore. I'm too chill to get fussy enough to push anything anyway. In the early days they did like what you mention and threw some credit for inconveniences without asking for it.

 
I got a promo email for TF2 with an unlock code for a callsign as well as a Mt Dew/Doritos promo code that gave me an execution and an xp bonus. I hate them because I'm actually going to buy some chips for codes. Anyone know where else to get codes?

My buddies order from Amazon got delayed, first Gears and now this for him lol, kinda sucks since I was looking forward to playing it with him
