Yeah it is. It will depend on what you're preferences of Mech games. The Titans imo are very bad ass.

Basically Titanfall 2 was developed by Respawn, the team that brought you CoD4: MW and they're a bunch of talented people. So it feels like solid CoD gunplay with the added touches of Respawn Studios. The biggest thing is EA put it up to fail, releasing next to Battlefield 1 and CoD: Infinite Warfare.

Falsifying your billing address for the purpose of buying something cheaper or avoid taxes is indeed illegal. The fact that you are doing it in a foreign country means you may also be in violation that country's pertinent laws. "International murder" isn't a real law either, my point is that you would be breaking laws internationally and could be subject to domestic and foreign prosecution.

You are also correct that this would be a violation of the ToS, and while criminal prosecution is unlikely, getting caught breaking the ToS will certainly cost you your account.

Buying gift cards for a different region is different. As someone else confirmed, you don't need any fake info and it's not against the ToS. I don't bother because it's easy for me to get credit 20% off, so it has to be a significantly better deal to motivate me to go through the trouble of researching which region has the best price after factoring in the exchange rate (I also don't like the idea of having a handful of various currencies left over).

For example, BF1/TF2 bundle.
US Price $75
Russian Price $55 (using estimates from the reddit thread, I really don't care enough to get exact numbers)

$75 x 0.80 = $60.

Is the time and effort involved worth it to save $5? Do they sell $15 and $25 equivalent cards for rubles or rupies or whatever, or would you end up having to buy $60 worth of cards? How much time would I have saved by just going to the trade thread and picking up some spacebucks?

People always say the framerate is bad for JC 3 but I 100%'d the game and I had very very few instances of bad framerate issues. I played it this summer though, so maybe the people saying it has problems were day one players.

No I got it maybe a month ago. Like every huge explosion dropped the framerate to 15.

I haven't played MP in COD:IW or BF1 - but Titanfall 2 is stellar. It does have some differences from Titanfall 1, but I wouldn't say any were a step-back, maybe a side-step in a different direction. Titanfall 1 & 2 - imo - are some of the best balanced MP shooters. Very limited camping, no rushing for power-weapons, and fast paced. Depending on mode, you can still contribute even if you have trouble aiming straight. Like most any game, it does take a bit to get used to which weapons/titans/boosts compliment your playstyle and to gain basic familiarity with the maps - but not hours and hours. Few people play with mics and few people seem to be in parties/teams, so if you're a solo gamer with no mic, you'll likely still have fun.

The campaign is great and gives you a chance to try out the new Titan loadouts as well as familiarize yourself with the weapons and pilot movement.

Really, if you like shooting at things digitally, Titanfall 2 should be on your must-buy list.

Capcom and MS been trolling us with that one. During the Capcom publisher sale in early August, the base game was on sale for $1.24. I should've bought, and may have intended to but forgot. Then in late August, the all in one pack was a Gold deal for $6.24. That time I did bite. Just hope the base game goes on sale on Friday, or as a regular date night item.

I wouldn't say Microsoft is trolling since Sony did the same thing when the game was on sale on PSN. But I do agree it's ridiculous.

Got on Battlefront to use up my trial and got destroyed. 3 kills/10 deaths. I leveled up from 1 to 4 though with the 4x XP because my team won. I guess I can take a beating if it means leveling and using my trial before it goes to waste when the game hits the Vault.


I'm knee deep in Mass Effect 1 (first ever play through so u know my feeling right now) and I'm loving it so it's hard to get excited for the sales. I just want to keep playing Mass Effect. I'm tempted by Dragon Age though. I remember it being a similar price couple months back and I passed.

EDIT: Is Mass Effect 1s DLC worth it at full price? Waiting for that to go on sale is like waiting on Dad to come home. I still dont know how it takes years to go get milk.

Just buy it next week at bb for $20, use the dlc code, and trade the disc in somewhere once the base game hits access.

No. The DLC for ME1 was decidedly meh. It likely won't go on sale again, but unless you're a hardcore completionist, you ain't missing a lot.

 
decided to hop on the overwatch free weekend, while the game is fun I dont really feel attached/invested when I play, seems like it should be free to play

I'm knee deep in Mass Effect 1 (first ever play through so u know my feeling right now) and I'm loving it so it's hard to get excited for the sales. I just want to keep playing Mass Effect. I'm tempted by Dragon Age though. I remember it being a similar price couple months back and I passed.

EDIT: Is Mass Effect 1s DLC worth it at full price? Waiting for that to go on sale is like waiting on Dad to come home. I still dont know how it takes years to go get milk.

Pinnacle Station was a meh expansion, it grew on me but yeah the meat of the DLC is with Bring Down the Sky, def get this one.

Definitely Lair of the Shadow Broker for ME2 set the bar for ME DLC.

Isn't ME1's DLC 99 cents each? Or is that just Bring Down The Sky? I've had Pinnacle Station for awhile so I'm not sure what price it rings up as on the site.

Bring Down The Sky is worth it for 99 cents, and a character from it makes an appearance in ME3. Pinnacle Station is meh but gives you access to a random item generator featuring some of the better items in the game.

I remember playing this back in 1997 on the N64. Although, 16-year-old me could kick 35-year-old me's ass in the game. I platinumed every medal and 100 percented everything in that game back in the day. I did a few platinums and lots of golds, and did a bit of 100 percents now, but nothing like I did then.

The game is still great though. Pity we can't get Goldeneye. One of my all time favorite games.
 
Is the Titanfall 2 Deluxe edition literally just a couple of paintjobs for the titans? I thought it would've been a season pass for any new maps that would drop in the future but it doesn't appear so. Oh well, can save myself the extra 12 bucks.

They already announced all the future maps and stuff will be free so no season pass involved.

I believe so. They've said any map or game mode DLC they release will be free anyway.

 
Looks like Im forced to use my $20 off new game at GS coupon on either Overwatch or Bioshock collection since nothing else comes out this year that I'm interested. *sigh*

The games on sale now are early access for Gold and then on sale for the week for everyone, but why does it have a count down timer of 3 days left?

 
So I tried the overwatch free play. Maybe because I'm new and not that good at shooters but I wasn't too impressed. I played like 20 mins and deleted it from my hard drive and went back to battlefield 1. Can anyone explain why it's so popular compared to other shooter games this year?

So far, it's only skins - you get two universal skins for every pilot, pilot weapon, Titan, and Titan weapon, one universal Titan Nose Art, and one universal Titan skin. Oh, and a player emblem. In December, it supposedly provides a different pose or configuration for two Titans (I'm not super clear about this).

*IMO* The Excalibur Chrome Titan Skin, the Phoenix Nose Art, and the Player Emblem are all pretty cool. The other two skins were less exciting. $20 is steep for what you're getting, but having played the game for awhile now, the Nose Art is easily my favorite and the Excalibur Chrome Skin is on the majority of my Titans. If you're a person that likes customization, you may find it worthwhile.

And if you're a customization person, I would encourage the Target code (one universal skin for every pilot, pilot weapon, Titan, and Titan weapon) found on marked packages of Dew & Doritos in-store. For $3, that's not bad. The Wild Wings nose art can be had for $1 on eBay, but it wasn't my favorite and is only for Ion. From the Dew & Doritos promo, the exclusive pilot execution is great (there are only four otherwise, three of which are randomly gifted - haven't got one of those yet and I'm G3.32) and the skin for Ion is alright.

Because Blizzard, it's more popular on PC as well for that reason, most of my console friends (myself included) kinda got bored of it rather quickly compared to other shooters, it doesn't have much content and they haven't been adding that stuff that quickly.
