All the games I want and none of the prices I want. I really want Far Cry 4 Deluxe, Doom Deluxe, and Skyrim, but by the time I get to them in my backlog I know they'll be on sale again for half the price they are now.

That Skyrim price is expected since it's a new release, but I'm quite surprised that Far Cry 4 Deluxe and Doom Deluxe are still so pricey. I somehow can't imagine the Doom DLC being worth more than the asking price for the game itself.

Are you talking about game sharing? It works if you switch the "home" Xboxes. For example my cousin's Xbox is set as my home one and mine is set as his home console. We can play each other's games (even at the same time) and we can even share Gold.

 
Kind of bummed that the Gears 4 season pass didn't go on sale. I got the game at launch, and was hoping for a sale to get access to the maps, ($4.99 each is kind of ridiculous).

Well shit, never expected them to go that low on Doom. Shame I just opened my copy from BB. Not cheap enough for Quantum Break, tempted by PvZ2, Arkham Redo, and Ori.
 
I bought the BF1 / TF2 deluxe bundle but I can't figure out how to unlock the BF1 deluxe content. I don't see anything to install or where to find the bonus items.

Make sure you have the Deluxe content installed when you launch the game and Battlepacks (x5) should be there (skins). Weapons should be selectable when customizing your soldier weapons/vehicle in-game.

I don't see a way to install the deluxe content.

edit: Nevermind, I had to find BF1 in my games then click the select button so I could queue the deluxe items to download. Seems kind of odd to not just auto download everything. Thanks!

Yes. It's everything for the game so far AND unlike the retail version (that does have a gimped physical soundtrack, to be fair), it's crossbuy and crossplay with W10 (the first real Play Anywhere game).

I'm surprised most of you aren't more excited. This is the cheapest the damn thing has been by a mile. I was losing hope because the retail version literally wasn't on sale anywhere including the MS Store, but I'm glad Xbox pulled through.

This and the Season Pass for Rise of Tomb Raider are today's best deals, imo.

I figured Rise would hit GWG eventually, but given the steep sale price of the main game even during Black Friday, it's not looking likely any time soon. I'll probably buy the Season Pass, use my "Name Your Game" freebie on it and call it a day.

For those of you wondering, yes the Season Pass includes everything besides the actual game. Squeenix made a deliberate point of including the "20 Year Celebration" content into the Season Pass so that early buyers didn't feel like they got fucked over because of Sony.

If you think you'll ever want to play this game's DLC, now's the time to buy. $6 is a steal.

Yeah, best I can tell its all there! Season pass description specifically mentions including the co-op mode and the 20 year celebration pack shows up in it. Pretty good deal!

 
Guess I'm returning my physical copy of MKXL from the Early Access sale... Didn't think WB would go 50% off digitally this go-around.

Also looking at Ori. Really disappointed the Arkham Knight and Doom Season Passes aren't on sale separately, especially Arkham Knight's.

Of the shit I already have, I'd recommend Unravel (if you don't want to bother with EA Access),The Evil Within & Season Pass (buy it separately, you save $3 and miss out on nothing) and Arkham Knight Premium.

Everything else flat-out sucks or has slightly better retail pricing (DOOM, Skeerim). Maybe get Battlefront Ultimate if you want to dualbox and have no desire to get EA Access, otherwise grab it at Best Buy for $20.

Don't forget to save $5 and grab a Recore code from the Microsoft store instead, unless you have Xbone credit to burn.

Fingers crossed for some decent 360 stuff.

This is the million dollar question. I hope all PS4 Pro improvements are easy enough to carry to Scorpio. The only roadblock would be if Sony directly financed the extra work for the Pro version and there's some nonsense contract in the way.

It's a terrifying thought that game optimizations could become platform-exclusive.

I owned the first already and bought the second when the develops promised it would be cheaper for original owners to buy the upgrade or whatever. So, I wouldn't have noticed that the DE includes both. Enjoy playing twice for more cheevos!
 
why am I not seeing killer intinct or mortal kombat or unravel on the website or on the console in the sale list?

Oh sick, I was bummed I had to go to a store to pick up Targets Skyrim deal but I'm all over the digital version, being at family's - who have had my entire list of queued up games downloading all day - house for Thanksgiving and all. I'll also grab RotTR SP at that price.
Happy Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for hours upon hours of entertainment!

Also looking at Ori. Really disappointed the Arkham Knight and Doom Season Passes aren't on sale separately, especially Arkham Knight's.

Of the shit I already have, I'd recommend Unravel (if you don't want to bother with EA Access),The Evil Within & Season Pass (buy it separately, you save $3 and miss out on nothing) and Arkham Knight Premium.

Everything else flat-out sucks or has slightly better retail pricing (DOOM, Skeerim). Maybe get Battlefront Ultimate if you want to dualbox and have no desire to get EA Access, otherwise grab it at Best Buy for $20.

Don't forget to save $5 and grab a Recore code from the Microsoft store instead, unless you have Xbone credit to burn.

Fingers crossed for some decent 360 stuff.

This is the million dollar question. I hope all PS4 Pro improvements are easy enough to carry to Scorpio. The only roadblock would be if Sony directly financed the extra work for the Pro version and there's some nonsense contract in the way.

It's a terrifying thought that game optimizations could become platform-exclusive.

Ya this is my problem I finished the game on XB1 but I think it's supposed to be greatly improved on Pro. I'd hold out if Scorpio was getting a bump on older games.

Only Turing Test for me, everything else I'd be interested in I already have. Skyrim for $30 is an amazing deal though!

microsoft actually beat out ps for my money on non exclusives for once

there is something rare, might even be the first time

do you guys recommend doom at 20? I know it's supposedly good but if it's this cheap this fast I'm assuming it'll get cheaper sooner rather than later?

This fast? It came out in May, that argument is for the games that released in the last month and are half price right now. And yes, it's really really good.

 
Man, I was really hoping for LEGO Star Wars Force Awakens Deluxe to be closer to the $20 it was on Amazon earlier. $32 seems like way too much now. Poop

And for those questioning Doom, get it. It is absolutely amazing. My biggest complaint was there was like no good controller customization options so I always had to remap the button manually.

Almost tempted to pick up BF just for the Season Pass stuff but I never played the base game when I got it anyway.

The prices are decent just not quite there for the few games I was hoping for : ( (Looking at you Infinite Warfare, Bioshock and LEGO Star Wars)

 
Actually torn on Skyrim. Not really sure I'd play it that much with everything else. I still prefer Oblivion to Skyrim and hope it at least gets BC soon.
