I bought KI Season 2 Ultra edition with KI 2 while it was on sale after KI Season 1 Ultra Edition was Games for Gold back in January.

So...is it worth getting the Definite Edition or waiting for Season 3 Ultra edition to go on sale?

I'm in the same boat but I went for it. S3 adds the new characters (including Shadow Jago!) plus a new story mode for single player. It seemed worth it to me.

Whoever said Battlefield 1 was tougher on its hardest difficulty than Titanfall 2 on Master was lying. I think I've died around 200 times and I'm only on Chapter 5. The AI has ESL pro gamer accuracy and they can kill you in 2 hits. Battlefield was much more forgiving on Hard.

It's only a deal for the 360 for whatever stupid reason. I was waiting on a discount for the Adventure Pass for the One and they just left us all hanging. Maybe it'll be a date night deal.

And sadly no, the passes don't extend to each generation, you have to buy them for both systems.

I ended up going all the way out and got a Titanfall 2 code myself and shortly after I came back I had a message from an awesome CAG, Kotor15 saying he grabbed an extra for me. CAG is full of such good people. I love being part of this community.

Never played killer instinct on xbox one but i did in the good ol' SNES days so is this game like mortal kombat or street fighter and does it have a steep learning curve?

Wouldn't really compare it directly to either of those games. It has a combo breaker system that is drastically different than MK and SF. They have beginner settings you can use in the game if you aren't comfortable with the system but I would say it is a fairly easy one to pick up and they do a decent job of providing you with the tools to get better

Anyone know if Dying Light enhanced edition the following had any codes. Or was it all on disc. Got the last "new" copy. Want to make sure it has all the content.
 
Considering the complete edition of Watch Dogs. $16.50 is better than it has been, but I feel like it could end up lower. Hard to say with Ubi games.

It could end up as a GWG, but I would probably still end up wanting the DLC.
 
I picked up Titanfall 2 and ROTR season pass.  Semi tempted on Forza Horizon 3 but I normally hate racing/driving games.  Played the demo and liked it but not sure I would stick with it.   Probably wait for it to be cheaper physically.

I know everyone is searching for deals for X1 and PS4 but what about the 360? Walmart has the 500gb Forza Horizon 2 bundle for $129. It's not on-line but in-store. I don't think this is a BF special more like clearance. You can't search on-line for stock, at least I couldn't find any.

Anyways, I got one from Mountain View, CA in the SF Bay Area for $129. It wasn't on the floor but in the back room where the electronic overflow is. I saw two more when I asked to buy it. Good Luck.

I am now the proud owner of the "Becomes the Master" achievement in Titanfall 2, thus making it my first 1000/1000 in a very long time (besides Ben Hur). Now I can finally dive into the multiplayer since I'm only level 3!

Wait... my backlog won't let me. Damn. This is why I can't play multiplayer games. This sale really didn't help matters.

Took me four hours to get that one.

For perspective, it has taken me 3 hours to get from Chapter 1 to Chapter 5 on Master difficulty...more than half the campaign.
 
Did pretty well physical copies of stuff too but I just decided to pull the trigger on Oblivion hoping it'll be BC. Plus there's that extra bonus of a game you know you're going to play many long hours of and not spin the disc at the same time.

That's about how long it took me to get the achievement too.

Master was difficult at the beginning because I was trying to play it like CoD, peeking out of cover trying to take out enemies one by one. Then I realized the game WANTS you to speedrun. Started using the cloak wisely combined with wallrunning and sliding and I was able to make it through without too much trouble. Except for Viper. fucking Viper.

yea it was rowdy. At the time thought is was way harder than the mile high club in cod 4.

then did the mile high club on the remastered, I was wrong, very wrong ha.

I would've bought a lot more but I pretty much have everything that's on sale that I'd want. This was a damn good sale. Can't wait for FFXV and the new South Park!
 
The Arkham Knight Season Pass has a lot of content. While a huge chunk of it is skins, Batmobiles and tracks which led to a lot of complaints when the pass was $40 on release, it ended up adding some story content (the big bits being A Matter of Family with Batgirl and the Most Wanted Expansion, as well as short bits with Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood, Harley Quinn and Catwoman) and a ton of Predator/Combat challenges if you're into those.

Season pass should have been $20 from the get-go, so I'd say $6 is a good price. I'd buy it if I didn't already buy the base game for $8.

Season 3 Ultra is STILL $40 on its own because they hate early adopters, I guess. It's yet to see a real sale and I can't imagine it'll ever go lower than 50% off (which is the current price for the Definitive Edition).

Just think of it this way, would you pay $20 now for:

Access to 8 characters/retro skins and accessories

Shadow Jago

Soundtrack + behind the scenes stuff

Not needing a gold sub for ownership of S1 Ultra

2 shiny skins for Gargos

or maybe $10 later for:

Access to 8 characters/retro skins and accessories

No Shadow Jago (Shadow Jago is $10 on his own still, but he comes with $5 of KI Gold)

Maybe some KI Gold

I can see why you might wait, but I personally wouldn't risk it given how stingy they've been with discounts thus far.

New story mode does not require ownership of S3. Though you can only play as S3 characters in it if you own them (or the character is part of the free rotation that week, or you manage to "recruit" them during your playthrough).

For reference, I only owned S1 Ultra before yesterday, and I've done the majority of what the story mode has to offer outside of the grindier shit (who the fuck thought 15 full playthroughs with one character was only worth unlocking a single skin for said character?)

Game is really good at teaching you fundamentals and beyond depending on how competitive you want to get. They put a lot of effort into the training modes and such and it pays off to use them. Very beginner-friendly (though obviously you need to put the work in to "git gud").

Open to more KI questions if anyone wants to ask, I've sunk a lot of time into it over the last year.

It's coming. That's why I throw a couple movies in there. I can always say "look baby, I got you The Green Mile", "I got Fish Tale for the kids!" Most of us are pros at this by now.

I typed quite correctly. They overrode the price to apply my $20 off coupon and didn't realized how PUR was discounting it. Once they got it down to $.18 I said don't worry, getting it down to $0 isn't that big of a deal.

 
is the KI definite edition cross buy? I bought it on xbox but it doesn't give me the characters on pc. I read on KI forum saying that edition is not cross buy? how can that be? I even get a definite edition KI app on windows 10 that's a 6gb download, but it crashes right away as it launches.

anyone else have this issue?

Oh, I bought Ultimate Shadow Jago pack as well....

also back in January lol.

So i pretty much paid $50 overall, totally worth it
