I'm either fucking blind or a new drop but Elder Scrolls Online is showing $9.90 with Gold. This is the vanilla version, not Gold that has all the DLC. Don't see it in the OP.

That appears to be an unadvertised sale, as Larry's post doesn't mention that version of the game being on sale. Good find!

True, I'm less concerned about spoilers and more interested in just playing it while it's new and participating in forum discussions for FFXV, not unlike someone else (sorry I forget who posted it) went back and read the Mass Effect thread from 2007 when it was brand new. It's going to be like that but in the present =)

SMG2 is timeless, the art style has aged beautifully and it's still just as fun as it ever was, like many of Nintendo's first party offerings. If it makes you feel any better, the sequel is only 6 years old.

I noticed Tom Happ posted on twitter that PSN was getting a sale in December so I asked him if it meant XBL would be getting one as well. He wrote back and said he actually doesn't know, and that they are waiting to hear back from Microsoft. So it sounds like my patience might/will pay off in the next few weeks.

I remember back in March or April when I first got my XBox One there was a day where if you earned achievements it wouldn't register or pop.  I was playing Borderlands 2 and 'missed' the achievement for reaching level 5.  Even though I had the one for level 25 and 50.  Started a new character and ran it up to level 6 still nothing.

Weeks later I was looking at my achievements and it finally showed up.  Never popped.  Maybe it will just start working without any explanation (hopefully).

Unless I missed something, if you're just basing this off of a few achievements not unlocking all of a sudden, that doesn't mean anything, they'll probably just pop up later, this is a pretty common thing

By "end of the year" it's 15 days or less now. I bought it last night and it showed 15 days remaining on the discount through the XB1. Most likely it's going to end when the expansion launches so best not to wait too much longer.

I keep debating getting Rare Replay, but I know that's going to be my reaction. My parents got me one of those preloaded Genesis systems for Christmas last year, and I think I played it for a week. The nostalgia wears off pretty quick for me with lots of videogames

I keep debating getting Rare Replay, but I know that's going to be my reaction. My parents got me one of those preloaded Genesis systems for Christmas last year, and I think I played it for a week. The nostalgia wears off pretty quick for me with lots of videogames

For me, half of the games on Rare Replay are AAA. Sure, the Killer Instincts aged horribly and several other 80's arcade Rare games. But shoot, the classic Banjos, classic Perfect Dark, Conker, Viva Pinata, Kameo, RC Pro-Ams, Battletoads, Jetpac, Blast Corps, Jet Force Gemini....those still hold up today. Get Rare Replay asap if you don't have it. It is one of THE exclusives the X1 has and is worth owning
