I thought it was a giveaway when it got posted on twitter found out after it was a glitched code. I would be glad you did miss it worried I'm going to lose my account over this. It's was not a simple price mistake.

EDIT:  I also got the 1000 reward points for the outage.  Put me over the top for another XBox credit.  Was maybe going to switch to an Amazon credit, but with the sale going on right now, I figured the Xbox credit might possibly be more useful.

It's all right. Michonne is a great character, but her game is so short and the story is just not as interesting overall as the other two TWD seasons. If you're a fan of the other games, I'd say go ahead and play it, just don't expect to be blown away.

A New Frontier though, that is fuck ing awesome so far. Love the new POV character and Clem is more badass than ever.

LOL and I can't redeem my Xbox credit after getting the apology rewards credits.  Do you know why?

Because when I go to redeem it I get a server error.

Yes:  I can't currently redeem my outage reward because there's an outage.  I'd say that might be the most MS thing ever, except Sony's in the corner all like "Pssssh, I was having outages for weeks at a time long before it was cool, and I ain't apologizing to anyone"....

No daily 360 deals would be a big disappointment for me, I was kinda' holding out hope for a few good ones. Because that static sale list kinda' sucks. I have expiring credit within a month and I'm not sure there's anything worth spending it on even. Which is really freaking sad.

Seriously, why is it so hard to get some good 360 sales at this point? Aren't deeply discounted sales of a game better than nobody buying it at all at this point? The whole BC thing has warped their sense of value of 360 games...

I tried Superhot last night for about 10 minutes... but I had to turn it off because the SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT SUPER HOT voiceover repetition made my dog crazy. Didn't want to wake up the wife and daughter with his barking.

Seems cool though.

Picked up Recore last night.  Might be the only thing from this weeks sale for me.  Dead Rising 4 I am hoping is a decent deal but probably not.  Will see if there are other cheaper games I would want.

Maybe AC Black Flag.  But I played a bunch of it on PS4 and who knows if/when I would get around to replaying it.  Might be smarter to skip it.

I like reading everyone's mini stat sheet. It's kinda cool to know what everybody was diggin the most this year and last. Kinda like oh I don't know, top 5 list of pizzas? But we're actually on topic :)

With my grandma passing away a few months ago(very close/she has so many traits I want my future girl to have) and health problems this entire month, gaming has been a very welcoming distraction. I've been into the Telltale / walking sim games and roaming around doing what I like in open world games, and that has helped quite a bit. Been a crappy end of year

Mine just got cancelled yesterday but I didn't get any bonus apology points. I submitted a customer service ticket so we'll see what happens.
 
Am I the only one who gets bugged a bit by games where you get less of a percentage of the deal as you go up to Deluxe/Ultimate/Super King Kong Mega Mega Edition?

GTA V historically seems to get it by going from 50-50-60-60 for the Shark Cards right now. I remember quite a few times when it would go up from like 20-30-40-50 (granted Shark Cards are a running joke). But NBA 2K17 has got it going 30-35-40 as does WWE 2K17 from 30-40 and Mafia III at 35-40. (Hmmm... I'm noticing a trend.)

But Forza Horizon 3... going from 35-25-20 the more you spend?

I get that DLC can be new and expensive, but a lot of these buy more/spend "more" games (especially racing) end up with the cheap "all in one bundle" at some point before/after the sequel comes out. And the vast majority of people buying stuff new at full price are generally going to continue to do so regardless. I just think they're leaving money on the table. At the very least, keep the prices uniform regardless of bundle.

Interesting timing these posts. Dad found out a couple days before Thanksgiving he needed an operation. Today was the operation. Haven't really been able to concentrate on shit this week.

Anyway got a text from brother about 15 mins ago he is out of surgery and in recovery and everything went well.

Hope guys have a better 2017.

I thought about putting them on - but really I just wanted to switch back to Destiny. I know you are a vet w/ the game, but dude, I am absolutely loving it. (Couldn't start Rise of Iron last night cuz my LL isn't at 280 yet. :cry:)

The quest & map UI is a bit unorganized. For example, I have a quest (A Broken Will) where I need to get Frosted Flakes to build a sword or something, and I just ran around the Dreadnaught for a while until I found some chests that had them in there. But that was just random luck. It never pinpointed me to that exact spot.

And I have not yet done a Raid - only Strikes so far. Cannot wait to try them. I assume they still take a couple hours to complete?

 
I'm definitely getting Dead Rising 4 as soon as it goes on sale, even if it's a crappy sale. Other than that, it looks like I'm only getting Pac Man 2.

Unless pier solar happens to go on sale.

Only thing for me in this current set of deals is Michonne and I got $100 of credit burning a hole in my pocket Crome Newegg sale.

Also, most played game is Mortal Kombat X this year, which is really surprising because I would have swore it would be Forza 6 or Forza horizon 3.

Edit: Mortal Kombat X was last year's most played. Fallout 4 was this year, guess that makes sense.

The reason there isn't a specific spot to pick up the Hadium flakes is because they only appear in chests and the chests appear randomly throughout Patrol. There are a few spots that you will almost always find a chest though.

They revamped a few strikes for The Dawning a few weeks ago and made them tougher. They also introduced some new exotics and re-introduced a favorite Year 1 exotic, plus SPARROW RACING! If you can master the side boost on your sparrow, you can master those races easily.

The best advice I can give you at this point is this: When you are decoding blue/purple/yellow engrams, OR when you are picking up loot drops from strike bosses, make sure your light level is as high as it can go because they should always be a few points higher than your light level. It might be inconvenient because your highest light level gear may not be your best/favorite, but you'll get to that 280 and then some real quick.

How much will Dead Rising 4 be on the Xbox Marketplace? The digital code is $35.99 on Newegg with the code: EMCFGGG64 I'm pretty tempted to get it from Newegg but I do have Xbox credit to burn.
