$7 digital tax (over purchasing at Bestbuy) for AC Origins, that's tempting but I actually think BB will step up and match Wal Mart's $29 price.  What to do?  The CAG in me says hold off for $29/disc but I'm trying to get as much digital as I can if the price is right.

Seems like a lot of work, probably why I barely had anything after a month of forcing myself to use it. I don't remember doing anything other than searches on my phone with it. Do you guys use the edge browser on the One too? Used it barely a handful of times since I got my One.

Do you have Xbox Rewards...?

That always takes my 'maybe' purchases into the 'yes' column...and then, obviously, right into the backlog (and eventual regret).

My reward level is 8% - and for me, that's a big deal; its like getting games tax free.

I use google, too. Once daily go to bing, hit news then hit each picture in the horizontal scroll of top news until points are maxed (150). Repeat on the bing app on android or ithingy (100), click on account name for dropdown to check for bonus point offerings which occur almost daily, open rewards emails with links for bonuses. Three to five minutes a day and I've amassed a year of gold and about $100 in xbl credit this year. Then use google for real searching.

Seriously, changing ca to us in the address bar gets a page not found and the small print on the ca page states Canada only except Quebec is ineligible so I doubt it would work for US. Good deal for you Canucks tho. Except those french speaking Quebecians.

Still no Marvel Puzzle Quest or Tecmo Super Bowl Throwback. May get Dirt 4 and trade in my physical copy to GS with the CoD 30% bonus. Tempted by half off of WRC 7.

I used to and then Titanfall came out and Advanced Warfare and I guess it's just hard to go back. I just play Overwatch now, I like having the abilities.

There is quite a few games I want from this sale... will be hard to narrow it down.
 
WTH? Got on my 360 to pick up MGR Revengeance and Tomb Raider Underworld, Revengeance is not even giving the choice to purchase anymore only download the demo, and Underworld is back to 19.99.
Seems all those 360 deals got removed, hope the comeback soon.

Yea, something weird happened with the 360 deals. I'm hoping it's fixed in the next couple hours since I'm up writing an essay, wouldn't mind taking the break to purchase some of the things.

 
Isn’t The Evil Within 2 already Xbox One X enhanced? Don’t see it in my list.

Ended up getting it, Wolfenstein 2, NFS Payback and Infinite Golf. Think the only game I’m still going to get for BF would be Forza 7.

Season Passes are almost always digital only. There’s very little competition as they are only sold direct or through only a few retailers like amazon etc, but not “everywhere” like physical games.

Thus, if someone wants the season pass they have us by the balls which is why there’s usually not too many sales or price drops on them (compared to games which are on sale constantly)

This is the future of games once they all stop getting physical releases in a few years.
Less competition, no used market, high prices for longer.

The second one is.

They did patch it so u could remove the black bars/box which would reduce performance. With a X you should get much better performance and look a bit sharper. Haven't seen any frame rate tests though on that. However, on PS4 Pro it was near locked 30fps *most* of the time so I'd imagine the X get's it near locked to 30fps as well.

It was dropped to $20 MSRP exactly one month ago. Chances of sale are low, but I'm probably gonna bite myself if it hits $10, maybe even $15 since there's a exploit to get it to run 60fps on X via dieing a few times. At least on Arkham City anyways.

As someone who lives on a farm, it's not really a lot of work. It's actually fairly easy and sets you up nicely tbh.

I just remembered that I'm going to family (that have non-restricted internet) for Thanksgiving, which means I'll finally be able to download all my ready to install games (Forza 7, RE: Revelations, SW:TFA, Mega Man Collection 2, X-Com 2) that I have in purgatory backlog.

Yeah, I figured it was a longshot. Might wait until either past Cyber Monday or possibly past the beginning-of-the-year sale.

Where dies it show the 150 points thing? On my rewards page it shows 5 points for doing stuff with Edge, and that's not moved from 0 all night even though I installed Edge, logged in and searched a bunch of pages. And it shows something for 50 points for browsing on bing, whuch I did, a bunch, and it's stuck at 30 points. This is probably why I stopped doing bing rewards, it never works right for me on my phone.

There's a separate category for searching on mobile. I think it's 100 points. I try to do that and the other one

That’s actually what I meant was the second one. It isn’t showing in my Enhanced games.

The pic is a bit old, but the layout is similar on the current rewards dashboard. Where it says "PC Search" along the right, instead of going up to 60 points, it now goes up to 150. There's also a Mobile Search tracker and a Browse and Earn tracker for browsing with Edge.

Odd AF. I know I had to hard reset my X a few times the first two days I had it to trigger the patches.

Speaking of which, I *just* got the real ReCore patch ready to download. I was stuck in the last area when I saw I needed more Prism's to get to the final boss. Maybe I can finally beat the game now.

Bloomy beat me to it.

In addition, on mine it also shows:

Browse and Earn 150 points per month, 5 points per hour for Microsoft Edge

Mobile Search for up 100 points per day

The only one I really do is the PC Search along with the Trivia, free points, etc. and that gets me enough points for a year of live or points to buy xbox games.

Do you have The Evil Within 2? And if so, you can see in in your list when applying the enhanced filter?

Lol I'm not buying any Ubisoft game at that price. Ubisoft games prices drop like rocks.

Especially for the the base game, no point in buying that. Future value 1.00 like Unity. Also since it's a digital download pack in game. Flip it while it's hot.

In six months the AC Origins Gold edition will be $25 like Assassin's Creed: Syndicate Gold. Same with South Park.

I would never buy a non-gold ubisoft game. Because in a couple months the gold edition going going to drop like a rock. Either digitally or at Target. And all you guys with the base game going to be kicking yourselves like you do every year cause you don't listen.

You guys keep paying for half a game and I will keep getting the GOTY of everything at a discount. To be a real cheapass you got to wait.

Ok, weird, I don't have anything at all like that showing on my apps. I guess I'd probably need to find someone with an actual pc to log in online to see that. Thanks for the info guys!

Yeap it's showing up right next to ESO and Titanfall 2 when I select XBox One X enhanced games next to the tile size on My Games and Apps.

I haven't booted the game up yet because I'm working on FFXV and one other game first, probably ReCore.

 
Would love to hear impressions from fellow CAGs on Dishonored 2 on Xbox One X.

"Improved Framerate Stability" probably means more consistently hitting a locked 30fps, right?

Awesome sale. Lots of games to contemplate picking up. So far I picked up Wolfenstein 2 Deluxe.  I loved the New Order and Old Blood so I am excited to get to play this over the Thanksgiving break. 

 
Just finished the Battlefront 2 campaign, wasn't super long, did the 3 missions early in EA Access and also was on the hardest difficulty, outside of a few bad checkpoints, like 1/2 glitches/problems, and a weird difficulty jump at one point, I absolutely loved it, I enjoyed the games campaign far more then The Force Awakens easily, it was awesome, I'll definitely replay it in the future!

Are you on android or ios? Make sure you are using the "Microsoft Bing Search" app from the app store and it's up to date. They reworked the Bing app a little while back and I'm not sure if they simply updated the app or released a new one as I was transitioning from a windows phone at the time.

For $5 I think most people will get a decent amount of enjoyment out of it. Semi tempted to pick it up again. Certainly wasn't great nor worth $40-$60. I think the Safeword DLC just came out on Live for $5. Probably pretty short I bet. It gives you Kinsey and some missions to play as her. Not sure if the DLC is worth it but the game is IMO.

I thought initially the game was a bit slow to get started but glad I played through it and trade it back when it was $15.

There is one not too far from my house for PS4 (where I played it). Might have to grab it. Was fun enough after it got going.

 
Someone gave me a $20 Steam card as a present a month or two ago and I finally got around to swapping it for XBL money with a friend who plays on PC a lot.

FH3 didn't cost me anything and now I can feel less bad about wanting to get some other stuff on sale. Fable Anniversary is still showing up as $10, and I may finally give Rocket League a chance.

Android, if I knew how to post a screenshot I would. Downloaded the bing app last night, and the Edge browser (which kinda stinks) to my phone.

Aaaand looked over the sale now that it's on the xbox...still nothing for me out of everything there. Final Fantasy was a possibility, but not into the modern setting or combat style after watching clips. Witcher 3 was also a possibility, but not into being unable to create your own character in a huge rpg, so that's out. Nothing else is screaming Buy Me, so probably just going to buy the halo 5 standard edition off the game pass before my free trial ends after Thanksgiving.

IDK, I play a lot of shooters. In one like Star Wars I want to be the good guys. At least have the option. Most games I don't care or maybe lean towards being the "bad guys". In Infamous for example I like being bad more then good.

But with an IP like Star Wars I can certainly understand wanting to play as the good guys/gals vs some random bad guy nobody.
