Looking forward to firing it up tonight. My guess is it's 1 v all (similar to the old Genesis games). I just checked and it looks like the pre-order DLC is no longer on the marketplace. It could always be added later, but for now it looks like those who didn't pre order have to wait.

I had already pre-ordered but the gameplay videos I had seen gave the feel of the TMNT Arcade or X-men Arcade (Same game, different skin) and that was more than enough for me. This info makes me happier about my pre-order though.

If your a fan of back to the future I would say grab it. I enjoyed that the story tied to the movies timeline. But then again its my all time favorite movie. The game play on the other hand is bland.

That sucks that Power Girl (even though just a skin), is locked behind these more expensive versions. Hopefully you can unlock her or at least buy her separate.

I'll probably pick up the game at some point, though I want to see more about this weird armor system they're doing. I don't see why they've been radio silent for so long, though I guess 4 months is plenty of time to show off the roster and features.

That's probably more on the developer/publisher, I don't think it did super well even with them trying to hype it up by some of their previous work at bigger studios. It is pretty shitty to not mark down the Xbox version as well if it's permanently cheaper on other platforms. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on the other stuff, maybe those improvements will get patched in, and Xbox doesn't support themes or custom gamerpics.

Just buy the Season Pass when it's half-off ($10 dollarydoos). If you have to buy one or the other right this second, I liked Dawn of the Rise of the Fallen Machines better than Mooli Rig.

Shadow Lords is great. Can't recommend it enough.

Admittedly, I'm a bit burnt out on it at this point, but I unlocked a good amount of the content so far. Getting all the Mimic skins and especially getting everyone's dossiers is a real grind though. Nothing compared to unlocking Shadow skins though, don't even bother.

I liked it and I spent a bit more on it for a disc version back before it was sold digitally.

Can't go wrong for $5 + it already being BC. I'd be surprised if it went GWG, though it's possible.

I would still say this is worth buying in case GTA IV ever comes to BC, since Xbone is region-free and would be able to read/play the disc.

I'd buy it if I didn't already have GTA IV Complete on disc, and the base game digitally.

B. So, if a game goes BC it will be region free? That did happen with Gears of War didn't it? Are there any games that are region specific that have gone BC? I'd love to play the WRC games we missed here in the states.

Fell asleep last night before I could buy the Tropicos. Remembered first thing when I woke up and Tropico 4 still listed it's sale price, but when I chose to buy it, it came up full price. Backlog saved I guess.

Clannad, a Japan-only visual novel recently went BC. I don't know if it made it region free, though it has no language options or reason to play without understanding the story so it doesn't really matter.

I know most of the Japanese stuff people would actually care about, like the CAVE shoot-em-ups, were already region free.

Well, when the Fallout 3 codes from FO4 were sent out, I was not able to redeem it from my XB1 nor Smartglass due to regional locking (I live in a Central American country, so region locks were always a major inconvenience). But once I got to the office the following day, I was able to as I have log into the company's VPN that generates an American IP address to work on my daily tasks.

Wow, RAGE at losing my four paragraphs I typed out about other 360 BC games. Stupid mobile and my big thumbs.....Japanese versions of Mass Effect 2, Gears of War 2 and Bully disc versions can be bought via like ebay. Even a Korean/German Bioshock. They also include English audio(so its not just in Japanese) and separate achievement lists from the NA 360 games(meaning you can stack achievements). I hope John Woo's Stranglehold goes BC someday. Would love to have another go at that playing the JP version

Do you just change regions? I might try this if you get separate achievements. Japanese voice acting with subtitles might be cool for Mass Effect 2.

Sorry, still peeved at myself. I mean you can buy a Japanese version of those games I mentioned above, like Bully, and pop that into your X1 since its region free(while the 360 wasn't). The Japanese(JP) game has an English audio option so every spoken word of dialogue won't be foreign. The achievement list is different from the original 360 list, meaning you can stack and earn up to 1,000 more gamerscore. Think of achievement stacking like you can gain 1,000 gamerscore in Titanfall 1 for 360 and there is a chance to gain an additional 1,000 gamerscore if you play the X1 version of Titanfall 1. Same concept applies to the Japanese versions

You can buy Japanese versions on eBay or Amazon, but AMZ is more pricey. Gears 2 is like $15 and I recall Bully being like $25. The only reason I see, to get a Japanese version of Bully for $25 over say, the US digital for $5....is cause you want the extra achievements. That's the only incentive I see(if you are a collector too, that's another incentive to get the JP version).

Edit: Check out this thread for a listing of stacking 360 achievement games that can be played on X1(and 360 consoles). Very informative. Even lists foreign games that have English audio/text

I'm actually curious if we have that many people in the thread who only own a 360. The X1 has been close to $200 at times and more and more games are coming to BC.

Show yourselves fools, and join the X1 master race.

Or put out reasons why your not getting a X1/and at what price point.

 
Played Gears 4 last night, Escalation. Epic as fuck. We were down 5-1, and it seemed like our team was severely outclassed. We came back and won 6 out of the next 7 rounds to take the match. Damn it was so intense! Might be the best multiplayer match I've ever been a part of, in any game. Wish I'd have recorded the whole thing. =-(
