Probably not fair to judge yet, the ~40 gig download on PC means a good amount of people won't be able to play today, but here's a track of Battleborn's player count on Steam. It's like a 400% increase, but only on a pitiful max of 180 concurrent players last month, with a much lower average of 81. Currently just shy of 800 players.

I played TPS with a friend. well most of it he bailed near the end and I finished it. Some trickery went on with moving my game saves back and forth but still had to grind out some of the trophies.

Yes BL (any of them) is better with a co-op partner or 2. I can play BL2 with randoms and have fun most of the time. I don't really care about the loot most of the time at this point.

Anyway I am hopeful that BL3 will be great. Probably a day 1 purchase for me. And I only do about 1 of those a year now it seems.

 
I almost grabbed the Peggle 2 deal when I realized I already own the base game. If you are an EA Access member it's cheaper just buying the dlc with the 10% 0ff......I need to start paying attention to the EA Access discounts for dlc
 
Not looking too optimistic on playing ESO without the disc. Granted, I'm under 40% installed but it said ready to start so when I tried it prompted for the disc. I suppose it could change once fully installed, but I seriously doubt it.

Booooo! I thought it might because when I redeemed the code the base game was listed as part of what it said I redeemed. Oh well, shouldn't be surprised.

Edit: wonder if the base download would be in our ready to install but isn't installing because the disc is in? I know...grasping at straws...

Loot is the most irritating thing about playing with randoms. I really hope they take notes from Destiny in this regard. I would MUCH rather everyone have their own individual loot drop, but keep the option to trade with each other. As is you get one dickhead that just grabs everything without looking at stats then either sells the rest or drops the scraps for the others.

I want combat improvements too. I've been dabbling with some BL2 recently as I never played the DLC, and just about every enemy is a bullet sponge that only really reacts to elemental damage, a lot of character abilities are more passive than anything too.

After reading this I went back and checked and there were 3 items under "Ready to install" (discovery pack, Morrowind Collectors Edition content, and Morrowind Upgrade) but after installing them I still get prompted for the disc.

If it matters I already had the disc version of ESO installed and I'm currently downloading the massive update.

I could swear it listed "The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited" separately as one of the things after I redeemed the code. Maybe it said that but actually didn't include it.

One of my proudest gaming accomplishments was beating Handsome Sorcerer, solo on UVHM.

Yeah I got lucky over the years and had mostly good players. The occasional dick for sure. On XBox One one guy was like do you want me to power level you to OP8 and give you a bunch of cool loot. I was like sure. I think I stayed with him for a bit but he knew how to rocket jump over a section of it and finish it faster. I couldn't rocket jump and either would die on my way to catch up to him or he would finish the round before I ever caught up to him.

On PS4 I remember playing with a few guys one night and we farmed the hell out of a few raid bosses and that Doctors orders mission thing. We duped all the good stuff. Lots of pearlescent stuff. All level 72.

So on XBox One unless I am playing with other OP8 people the loot is lower then I already have so I don't bother looking at usually. Haven't played on PS4 in a while but have some decent level 72 stuff there.

Nope. And thank goodness I got the box before my wife got home or she would have had a heart attack!

Sucks for you though. They've had it listed as "unavailable" for a whole after the price mistake / glitch. Still shocked they honored it.

(The bastards did send out my Wipeout Omega Collection late but I'll forgive them just for giving me this)

Saw on GAF that Dirt 4 is gonna have Scorpio enhancements eventually. Project Cars 2 will have Scorpio enhancements.

Also ESO aka the game everyone is talking about will copy the PS4 Pro ehancements: Native 4k and HDR.

Mine shipped on Saturday, but is lost somewhere between Philly and Ohio. (left the Amazon facility at 1247 pm yesterday outside Philly, and hasn't updated since)

At least I'll get a free month of prime from it too.

One of the reasons why I've decided to wait on DiRT 4. Codemasters usually put their games on sale afterwards and by the time of Scorpio, it'll be in a sure pickup sales price - that is if I don't pick it up at a good sale found on here before lol.

I wonder if Scorpio's final name and design will leak in advanced or if MS will be able to keep it well under wraps until Sunday. I remember last year when the S model picture leaked on the evening prior to their briefing and many people thought it was fake for it being white and looking somewhat PS4-ish.

yeah windows 10 is pretty inter-grated with that ID not to mention my xbox account. At one point I created a new ID to do bing rewards but was causing too many login headaches with other things for me.

As for price I'm thinking anything above $399 is dead in the water, but I can see MS releasing it at $450. I can also see a $500 special launch edition sku with a Elite controller (newer design/form) at launch.

I don't see how Scorpio is going to be launched at the same price point the Pro was despite having fairly significant hardware upgrades. I think $599 is a safe guess given what details have been given out about it.

 
My guess:
Scorpio (or as it will be officially called, Xbox One SE) will launch 10/10 and be bundled w/ digital copies of Shadow of War - for $599.99.
 
It probably won't happen, but I'd like to see Scorpio launch with a few pack-in games. The platform is old enough that they could easily include Forza Horizon 3 and Gears 4 to show off the new hardware and ease a $600 price tag. Given that Phil said it would be priced as a console, I'm guessing $500 standalone and a $600 deluxe package (games, extra controller, Game Pass for 3 months, something like that).
 
MS made it pretty clear this is a premium product that definitely not for everyone, so I think they are gonna price it like that. I don't think they expect this to be a massive seller, but will satisfy die hards and people with too much money

I'm a solo Borderlands player and love the series. I played through the original on both 360 and PS3, BL2 and it's dlc on 360 and then again through The Handsome Collection on PS4 and TPS on 360. My worry with 3 is that they go even harder in the multiplayer direction and it's no fun solo anymore or doesn't have single player at all.
 
shit man you did all that solo? Thats fair play to you. I could never play a game like Borderlands without at least one other player, I'd get super bored in no time.

I'd be more worried about Borderlands 3 having microtransactions, which is becoming the industry standard for all AAA games it seems like.

I don't believe that it is strongly related, just used for different special things similar to the preview program. I've never been part of the preview program but had to install the insider hub when I joined the sea of thieves beta at the beginning of the year.

If you're interested in special betas and stuff, there's no need to delete it or opt out of anything. The only downloads I've received from it are updating the app and the beta.

They say that but at the same time I'm sure they'd love to get back into the game by digging into Sony's market share. So I'm thinking it may be somewhere in the middle. Maybe $549.

So when I go to redeem the code that came with my ESO:M CE this is what I see:

That makes me believe that the code is only for the CE specific and first run game specific DLC, and not for the Expansion, making the Expansion be accessible only through the disc.  Unless I buy it separately.  Which sucks.

So The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited should be for the base game, right? And then wouldn't the "Morrowind Upgrade" be for this expansion?

I know we don't get the other expansions as part of this.
